Visited FBN and asked about thier secondary market, I was made to know that it depends on what was available as at the time and not what I had to offer that mattered....The FBN staff looked at his PC and said for example that there is market for 3million at so so rate, so if I had 100k for example, it means I can't invest because I can't match that 3million. so its purely based on what's available except its different from the way it's run in other banks.

You might have mistakenly instructed your bank to do auto-rollover of your liquidated fund by ticking the column for auto- rollover on the TB form. Just yield to the advice given above by liquidating it before expiration through the secondary market and expect either a capital loss or gain.

It happened to me. I requested for my form there was no instructions asking them to roll it over. I requested that we send an email and a reminder but to no avail. I was asked to remind the officer two days before the expiration of the 90 days.

FBN gave me 16.9% for 182 days in today's auction. They previously gave me 17.2% in the secondary market which I rejected.

Is like secondary market offers are better than the primary market.

For your information, they are the reason I now deal with Stanbic IBTC as I had to relocate my investment for the same reason.
Would you rather remain with them, fold your hands and watch your funds idle away because they won't bulge, while you miss out on opportunities available elsewhere? I doubt.

FBN have already debit account for the 5th auction taken place on the 4th May. That is for the primary market.

Your application is too late for the 20th auction. There was a memo in all first Bank to effect every bid for 20th on or before 13th of April.

I still submitted my application and asked them to keep it for the next auction.
