Celebrities › Re: International Record Deals : What Nigerian Artists Need To Know by Pain(m): 2:01am On Jan 19, 2017 |
magicminister: When people that know absolutely nothingg about the music business want to have an opinion.
Firstly, I spent a greater part of last year negotiating few of the deals that are making news today and I can tell you for a fact that most of the deals are strictly distribution and not record deals.
Nigerian artistes are getting bigger than Africa and the time is ripe to package them and sell them to the world! That does not mean they'd lose local market.
How do the record labels come to numbers??
They evaluate your previous record sales and views on social media for a while. After which they can project potential future sale and then make you an over that can cover as much as 50-80% of potential future sale... this is where you need a good negotiator. When the deal is signed, you get a certain percentage upfront and any music you release will be promoted by the label on their platform which includes but not limited to iTunes, vevo, Spotify, pandora and many more!!!
Look at all the massive shows we pulled off all over Europe and America last year and you'd know that it's a great deal!! Sounds like HOT AIR to me..little substance.. |

RighteousI: Get out of here! it's not ambode,s fault, it's your careless driving. it's is these same people that will be shouting go, go, go, go, when they see you driving defensively in front of them. on 3rd mainland bridge, I drive slowly and I stay on the lane close the demarcation so that the car will not go into the water if an accident happens. I see all these careless drivers speeding and jumping from one lane to the other. just because the road is clear, that doesn't mean you should speed up. your tyre can bust, the tyre of the car in front of you can bust, the rod that connects the tyre to the car can come off, road workers can appear in front of you, that's why you should drive slowly and carefully. but they won't, instead they want to speed form bad guy. now pose and form bad guy with your broken leg. say hi to those in igbobi hospital for me. next time you will drive slowly and carefully. Don't mind the senseless beef heads. The way some peeps in Lagos drive is amazing. So much impatience and arrogance on our roads. It is only in Nigeria that you will see a vehicle overtake you at high speed and loud horning and then park abruptly. I hope he learns his bitter lesson. |

pokipoki: Accidents are caused by uncontrollable speed. I am very certain that if the drivers involved in the accident maintained about 60-70km/hour, people won't be lamenting like this. People need to control their speed. Thank you. Most Sensible Post (MSP) |

I have always wondered why Abiola married so many women, and these pictures just answered that question.
You see one pretty one,and you look to your right another pretty one, ditto the left too. Too much beauties here, and it will not be nice if you let anyone go.
I am marrying all of them.
