mustafo:Boko bois will eat the half-witted efulefu raw. Pity the animal! |
dumodust:Why is your feather ruffled? Do you have vested interest in the last 6 years? According to Transparency International public looting reached pinnacle under the last government. The loots are still hot in various bank vaults overseas. Various governments, including USA, UK, Germany & Switzerland have promised to assist Buhari recover those billions of dollars stolen. This being the case, Nigeria can't afford to lose this opportunity if she takes her eyes off the ball by going after 1970s now, rather than later. Jonathan's government is in the cross-hair and rightly so for its notoriety and pervasive looting agenda. Don't you know that a bird in hand is worth two in the bush? It's time Nigerians were sincere with themselves rather than loyalty based on ethnicity or political affiliations that you were giving vent to. ![]() |
dumodust:Man, u no dey fear? You 're calling everybody mentally deranged and sodomised? Is that the extent u 're prepared 2 go 2 defend gej ? Pdp? Wella, u have ur head in your other end and can't think sensibly, you he-goat! |
neocortex:You're talking trash, you political lap dog of PDP. |
Wipe them out of that sambisa forest and mount effective border patrols. |
dayo23:We now know that the exact medicine for those calling for biafra or biafran agitators is Boko Haram. Where will you run to bacause boko haram is surely coming like rain, thunder and fire! |
kestolove95:Arrested because he made serious allegations? Rather, he should be made a state or principal witness and his claims investigated. |
Faulting everything under APC government is not constructive opposition but aimless ramble |
Corruption is the bane of Nigeria |
Enemies of progress! When countries like Pakistan and India ventured into Nuclear energy they were far behind compared to Nigeria's current status. As for IAEA, they are always against progress of third world countries unless if it suits their interests and those of its masters. If Zambia can run nuclear plant, why not Nigeria? If Bangladesh can go nuclear, nothing must hamper Nigeria. The advantages, including technological and scientific break-through are too important to allow some misguided old men hinder the country. |
CR77:Either you read but don't understand what you read or you are blinded in your zest to criticise PMB that you end up making a mockery of yourself. Can you see or understand the quote in bold below? "The money is sourced from recent LNG proceeds to the federation account, and its release okayed by the president" |
Afenifere should be tired of tribal politics. Rather, it should address the reality of one Nigeria and how to improve it. Dwelling in the past, you risk losing sight of the future. |
This story is suspect because a country like Nigeria cannot be taken for a ride by generals whose mandates are known to subordinates and intelligence services who are briefing the government 24/7. |
What arrogance! With their defeat, you would have expected a sense of humility from PDP. Beg you to come and empty the treasury again? Perhaps, to allow Boko Haram to come to our doorsteps? You must be drunk or high or both. |
A shake-up is very much needed. The same service chiefs were asleep with GEJ and feeding fat while Boko Haram held sway over Nigerian territory - much to the shame of Nigerians! |
That rogue Gabriel Suswan must be brought back from UK to face the music of theft of public money and corruption in public office. |
Australia as number 2 is highly questionable given the plight of the Aboriginals and other recent immigrants. Although Ghana is just like a state of Nigeria in terms of population, it can hardly be said to be more human-developed than Nigeria. |
Corruption and maladministration of PDP in the main. |
Ezenwammadu:So you are just realising this reality? |
Senator Marafa is one of those who think that public office is a gold-mine. How much lawmakers are paid is no secret. It is huge by any standard, which Nigeria cannot afford. He should spare himself the ridiculous chorus of "ask the bank". What was wrong with him telling reporters what his take-home pay was? |
What about grass-cutter farming for those rich people with taste for bush meat? |
It appears this poster is on a sponsored mission. If not, consider the predicaments that border on calamities facing the nation as a result of GEJ and PDP misrule, you find time to criticize and level all kinds of spurious allegations against an incoming government that has not yet seated? |
BackDatAssUp:You are misinformed because Shale oil from American and sand oil from Canada meant that America was self-sufficient. The reason Saudi Arabia gave for over-production was to make Shale oil too expensive to produce and thereby raise the price of crude oil. The other unannounced reason was to punish Russia and Iran; but in doing so, they cared not whether Nigeria or the other oil countries suffered or not. Saudi Arabia is able to do this because it has so much foreign reserves, no foreign debt and can make large foreign income from foreign visitors making the haji pilgrimage every year. Given the above, one would think that it was time Nigeria stopped wasting scarce resources going on pilgrimages to Israel and Mecca because God dwells in each and everyone of us and that hard cash can be put to best use in Nigeria. |
aventura:What's yours, unguarded mouth or untrained in civility or upbringing to insult an elderly person who is also your president-elect? |
@ poster, you must not lose sight of infrastructural development as well as health and education. These three in addition to the four you listed are essential for any nation to develop. |
Neduzze5:Nigeria is too deep in crisis for tribal bigotry. |
It is good to probe predecessors as that will instil fear in the successors against corruption and maladministration. |
@ poster, should you be blaming the Senate President or the Inspector General of Police for the dilapidated state of police station? Did you know that Nigerian legislators are the most highly paid in the world? A waste that Nigerian people can ill-afford! Have you seen GEJ's palace in his home town, or his apparent reluctance to declare his assets? Have you seen Patience Jonathan's 5 star hotels or her shipping line? Maybe you have not seen Okorocha's empire building with state-of-the-art accomplishments? Hopefully, GMB and APC will probe all the years of PDP government under Jonathan to unearth how this rich country has come to this fate of unspeakable regression! |
IzonOwei:Tribalist, one only needs to be a Nigerian to comment on how things are being done in Rivers State. |
Geniro:Who is fooling who here, you or him? APC won Rivers State hands-down, which means the March 28th and April 11th polls were fraudulent and thuggish. |
@poster, yours is ethnocentric view point, not helpful in moving Nigeria forward if you think another civil war will help your case. Have you been to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iran, Iraq, UK, Norway, Russia, Venezuela etc., these countries produce oil but no one tribe claims any ownership. Rather, the resources are federal governments', which they use judiciously to develop their countries. It is only in Nigeria, a country blessed with all kinds of resources, not just oil, that successive governments have let the people down by looting national treasury, including oil money, instead of developing the entire country as in those other oil-producing countries referred to above. It is also only in Nigeria that you have this ridiculous bigotry and tribal claim to oil ownership of land that belongs to the Federal Government by virtue of the Constitution. Where this is denied, you want to split the country! How far can you go? Don't forget, each state has its own ambition to be self-governing but are you going to split the country into 33 countries? Whose right is more equal than the others? I admit the region and in particular, the Ogoni tribe have been dealt harshly and inhumanely by late Abacha but that will be child's play under Biafra. The way forward is for Nigerians to demand better government and accountability how our resources are spent |
Did anyone follow him all the way? |
