Lemme drop a story of how sokoloan almost ruined my friend and I

Last yr a close friend took a loan from sokoloan , he always pays back before due date , that's how he was given larger amounts , imagine collecting 50k to pay 56k in just two weeks just imagine

A time came he couldn't meet up , I noticed my friend has lost weight and he had no job at that time , he couldn't open up to me until they started threatening him with soldiers , luckily I had some funds with me so I cleared it up for him

As time goes I needed funds urgently for something , I have a good account history , they had my bvn in fact all my account info that's how the operate
I made a call directly to their company line and we had a long conversation with one of their staff while they were accessing my account, the finally agreed to lend me 250k
Truth be told I was waiting for the worst , and I was to pay back in the weeks and the total money I'm to pay is 285k E sbock u abi , in two weeks o

I paid the money in just 8 days , I had cash in my other account but I intentionally wanted to show them shege
The offered me 300k to pay back 335k I another two weeks
I paid back in just 6days , they were amazed

One day I got a call from one of their staff saying they have a gift for me that I should drop my address, I told them I've already dropped my address in the beginning, (wrong address) the brought me a mosquito net and two pen and three note books , I tell them say mosquito they my house ?

I asked someone to receive the gift on my behalf on that wrong address

I later requested for 500k , I always call them directly , they gave me without hesitation omo I show them shege

They started threatening me with all manner of threats that the know of , they threatened me that they'll take my pictures to the shrine and get me mad , I laughed loud on the phone
It came to a time they were trying to play calm with me knowing all their threats aren't working , till date 1 kobo Dem nor collect

I know someone will say why would I do that
But why would they be sending different sms to your contacts labelling you a criminal over little money with their large interest , they're the real criminals

It's been over 9 months they've not called me , nor texted me and me sef nor even dey Africa not to talk of naija , I've changed my bank infos long time ago

If you must take a loan , be prepared for the worse and the worse they can do is to try to ruin ur image that's all
So before u get any load ensure you delete all ur phones contacts and write them on a book , never you save a contact on ur phone that will bring u a disgrace before them go send your crush say you steal company money

I've had some bad experiences there. I remember the first day I went there. Just before Ikeja under bridge, a guy approached me. He wanted to sell his BB Bold 5, my eyes fell - though I was smart as hell, and it was cheap. We bargained and I paid. On getting to under bridge, he came by again for his SIM and requested to eject it and also reset the phone. I gave him. All of a sudden he asked us to go to a particular place under bridge (where you get Ojota bus); he gave me back my money and was like 'hurry up, I don't want Police to suspect I'm doing dirty deal'. On getting to the particular place, like magic, he was no where to be found. I searched everywhere, including under the parked buses. I've never been s surprised, it was a matter of few seconds.

I cleared him off my mind thinking he ran away because of the 'Police' thing, not knowing he has duped me. When I brought out the cash he returned for counting, I almost fainted by what I saw - bunch of newspapers neatly trimmed and wrapped up with N200 note. I almost fainted. Yep I gave him an extra N200 for t-fare which he requested and the wrapped newspapers looked like N1000 notes when he gave me back. I returned home that day without fulfilling my aim. I thought I was smart and I've always laughed Ikeja victims but I joined the league that day.

I borrowed money from this Soko bastards a while ago.I was unable to pay on agreed date,That was how the threats started. I told the staff that called me to give me till weekend that i would make payment den(was expecting a transaction to come thru by Friday) .The basterd didn't. Still went ahead and sent a demeaning text to my contacts.I was suicidal for the whole week. Wen d transaction cleared. I called the basterd, asked her if she needed more of my contacts so she can send anoda round of SMS cos I wasn't ever going to make payment (Since the deed has already be done). Packed my load and left Naija for good. Make dem find me come where I deh now na. Basterd Sons of bechees!!.

bro shey u have paid? Get the terms and conditions read through check the part that talks about failure to pay loan, read and understand. Bro sue their broke ass. Palm credit is too legit. I once borrowed 15k and I needed to pay from my Eco Bank but service was bad I couldn't transfer to my UBA which is automatically connected to Palm Credit. They sent a message to remind me to pay. I was just lackadaisical about paying but I knew definitely I will pay. 5k was sent to my UBA them collect am sharperly remaining 11k but notwithstanding I sent the money as I got network to my UBA after over 60hrs no issues I paid no disgrace just normal reminder. For that I give them 6 Stars. Dont stress urself about those Soko bastards. They don't have guts to run a company. Sorry but ensure they tender apology on national daily and send a correction message to ur contacts

It's always good to check and double facts and experience from people who have done business with any one or organization before getting involved with them.
Yours was even good because the loans was due and you didn't meet up on time. Mine was 5hours above the due date and even when I was in the bank doing the transaction they have already sent malicious messages to my contacts say that I was a wanted criminal who took huge loans and ran away.
I know of guy who also lost a job opportunity because of the message they sent to the man who was supposed to interview the guy. They are pathetic lots.

My salary delayed for 2days, the sokoloan caller was very rude, I couldn't hold my temper n she sent a message to all my contacts. I think u gave them access to ur phone informations once u installed their app.

What an experience.
I remember I granted them access to my contacts.
Their interest is also on the high side - 50% in 5 days. Wait who does that, 5k to pay 7,500 in 5 days? well I accepted and I had no qualms then.

I took a loan of 15k from them in January... 2weeks later, dey called and I told dem to wait til month ending wen salary comes... D lady wan start dey insult me na i end d call. Na so dem start dey call me morning and evening and i tell dem say month ending.... 26th to be precise...and na so dem dey add money join every day o (dem say penalty charges for late payment)


About 4 days later, i got that text wen dem send ur contact so from them and den, d same lady called saying dem wan send d message to all my contacts say i be criminal and run with their funds.....

I sincerely thanked the lady and urged her to send the msg immediately but also told her, once that msg is sent, AM NOT REFUNDING AGAIN. the company should get their funds from my contact and dat I will deactivate my ATM immediately we end the call which means they can't access my account anymore........ (Their mumu company know say na my salary account I use and I activate auto-debit which means once money enter, dem fit auto-remove am even before me notice the alert yet greed and impatience not allow dem rest)

Na this month make am 12 months now... I still dey wait for them to send d msg...... ( I go pay them by next tomoro sha cos I nor fit carry debt enter new year)

Day 4: Call and remind
Day 6: Call and threaten with informing Guarantors on your list
Day 7: Send SMSs to at most 5 guarantors. Try these and watch how the hardened Nigerian melt.

Sokoloan, the nightmare of desperate borrowers ... A friend called me before midnight like a week ago and was begging me to to send 17k to her account, that she has the cash, but needed to send the money immediately; the Sokoloan people were on her head, insisting that she mus make the payment that same night being the due date. Imagine the relief, when I sent her the money. She could not thank me enough. I asked her to keep it, but be wary next time of these loan companies promising heaven on earth.

Got same stolen company fund on my phone some days ago..
This lady is calm, what she told me is she needed the money urgently and she applied for their loan..
When I got the mesaage, I thought she absconded with almost 30million company fund..
When I called her, she was weeping prosefuly and knowing her, she can take her life. Alas, na just 10k debt o..
I wasn't really buoyant but I sent it to her to pay up.
These loan company's new tactics can make some faint hearted commit suicide..

Thanks sir, I appreciate. I can only let go if they'll send back a transparent message back to my contacts. I only took a loan of 5k and not 5 million. After the bad SMS, when I told them what really happened, they got irritated and offered to pay the bills instantly but I declined. That day happened to be an exam day, I couldn't concentrate.

Dear Sokoloan, I will be in my best behaviour while posting this.

I applied for a loan a month back which I didn't repay in time. I got a call from an extremely rude official 5 days after I received the loan. She informed me that payment is due and I should do that immediately. I tried to be friendly but she wasn't. I asked if I could pay part but she arrogantly declined.
The next day I got a call from her again with insults this time. I told her she's not professional with her work and that made her worse. She threatened to disgrace me in the worst way ever (via SMS). My phone got stolen that night. A day after she sent the most devastating message ever to all my contacts. How she got access to them still surprises me. In her message, she said I'm a wanted criminal on the run with company funds. I got tons of messages on Facebook and missed calls and messages on my other line - my former employers, course mates, lecturers, neighbors, family, besties, other influential people. I was really mad! I had over 300 contacts for Christ sake. I called her immediately to send a convincing message to my contacts. She was adamant and continued with her insult, I fired back not minding her age. I threatened to take the case to court, but I was financially down at that moment. My sister called her immediately she got one of her text and they ended up insulting eachother. I called her some days after, she was a bit calm, and I asked if she would resend another SMS and make everything transparent to my contacts. She said once the payment is complete we'd discuss that. When the payment was deducted automatically from my account, I called the number, but the new user doesn't seem to know me. She requested for my login number I gave her but she said she can't access my account. Up till now. I think I've been too calm with them and I am taking it up now.

The worse part of it is I lost most of my contacts which means I may not be able to clarify myself. This is the worst thing ever to happen to someone.




I've mailed them concerning the issue and I'm yet to get feedback.
