Sorry for coming late cappo, we doing great just mild offset here and there. Surprised my bump is almost obvious thanks to my big stomach. Wishing us all safe and sweet bumping.

As a September baby, I am so proud to say that kings and queens are born only in September. Mehn September mummies be popping out angles and royal cuteness upandan. Abeg I carry nyash up for all September mummies una too much. Congratulations to all the mummies and beautiful welcome to all the royal cuteness .

Mother's please pray for me and my baby. I have been in hospital since on Saturday for induction and the process started yesterday night. Will go to delivery ward for drip and injection. I'm scared but I know God is with me.

I will come back to testify.

The Lord who saw u through up to this point will not forsake nor abandon u now. He will stand watch over u and strengthen u as well. U will come out with songs of joy and thanksgiving. Be strong for u have overcomed already.

I have a question as a first timer. I've been booked for induction and it's making me so uneasy and anxious.

I've heard stories about how labour takes longer and is stronger without much time to breathe. Also heard there is a likelihood of it leading to CS cos of distress.

I'm confused at this moment cos I've been advised my MIL and Mum to chill and see if it comes before my baby gets to 42nd week rather than reporting to the hosp on the induction date. Currently, I'm 41 weeks 1 day according to LMP. According to 3 ultrasound taken at about 7th week, 23rd week and 36th week, my EDD was stated 31st Aug, 31st Aug and 30th Aug respectively. I was told to come to the hosp tomorrow.

If you had been induced before, please shed more light on it. If you have also used KUPA before, how do they handle these stuffs?

I know sey my story long but please help a first timer. Experienced mamas, no leave me o

Panicking won't do u any good, also as people are different so are there responses to certain things. It would do u a lot of good to focus on you and your baby being alright. If you've been booked for induction by your Dr , then go for it. It's not always best for first babies to exceed 40 weeks so don't take chances to avoid stories. Pray about it and have faith who knows labour may even start before then but in all have an open mindset and expect the best. Cheers

same here.. according to my LMP am 33 +3days, but they said am 34 +3days..I just hope all is well

@ Godisgracious there's nothing to worry about. For some very experienced Drs and midwives, they prefer their hand measurement cos it gives them the actual measurement and position of the baby. Had similar experience in the past and their was a difference of almost 2 weeks. The baby cane at the date given by them and not my edd calcutionfrom lmp and scan. So chill.

I was jejelly on my own wen hubby came with his "thing" did the do and now I don't now why my body is acting this funny. From my calculations I should be 8wks gone so I tanda gidigbam for team April. What is paining me now is that this journey Does not seem like the usual as per mom if 2. Good day beauriful Mamas. I noticed that there are 2 types of Nan1 in the market, one with gold strip and the other with pink strip. Apart from the color stripes, I couldn't spot any other difference. As such I don't know if one is fake and the other original. please has anyone observed this too.

It's preferable to use cup and spoon also you add milk in powder form to the already prepared pap. Also it shouldn't be too thick so it would be easy for your Lo to swallow.

You're strong oh. Breastfeeding for 3 hours (thumbs up). Why not express so you can see if you're lactating very well. It's possible your Lo isn't getting enough milk. I observed it's not just about eating anything that makes breast milk to flow but eating them real hot. Be strong!

Lol it's not funny but I don't have a choice else she would cry. I have not tried expressing into a bottle before but I assist her when she is suckles.

Good evening house. Please I need urgent assistance.
My Lo is two weeks old today. We started off with formula because my breast wouldn't flow. Then around Friday we started breastfeeding but not eliminating the formula completely.
Before now,I had wanted to do EBF so by Wednesday I stopped the formula completely.
Now the issue is that my baby seems not satisfied with the breastmilk. She suckles for more than three hours non stop both night and day and when you try to take her mouth of the breast, she starts crying. Unlike when she was on formula she doesn't sleep like so long anymore. Am confused, I don't know if to continue with EBF or go back to formula. I ve tried so much to boost my breastmilk, I take plenty of fluid, eat everything I can lay my hands on.
Please has anyone experienced this before. I need your advice on the way forward so I don't fall into depression cos I don't find it easy breastfeeding for up to 3uninterrupted hours.

Mummy Deezou please what's the remedy for it

Good day good people. Please am a FTM,my baby is a week old and she has this Boil-like rashes on her skin. It starts like a tiny pimples and by day break it's like a small boil. I don't know how to go about it. It doesn't irritate her but it's spreading over her body.
Also am having difficulty breastfeeding her as am not so certain my breast satisfies her because she can have her mouth fixed on it for up to an hour and the very minutes u take it off she starts crying. But if I give her formula she gets satisfied and sleeps off.My breast started flowing about 3 days ago. This bothers me also because I ve always wanted to do exclusive feeding for her
Somebody please help me out.
