Chelsea players unhappy with Mourinho Chelsea's players are unhappy that manager Jose Mourinho has singled out individuals such as John Terry, Oscar and Radamel Falcao as scapegoats for the Blues poor start to the season. Two things are funny to me here. How has falcao and Oscar been the cause of our downfall. This is starting to look like a repeat of Madrid saga in which players had run-in with Mou.But for chelsea sake and for my sake they had better channel those energy into productive runs rather than using it to confront Mou |
Aareonakakanfo:no bro that was a mistake |

Match Preview Chelsea face the next challenge of their Barclays Premier League title defence when they welcome Southampton to Stamford Bridge on Saturday. A run of three straight victories for Jose Mourinho's men came to an end with a 2-2 draw at Newcastle United and a 2-1 defeat to Porto in the UEFA Champions League over the last week. As a result, the pressure is back on Chelsea as they face a Saints side who are on a high after winning their last two matches, scoring nine goals in the process. Mourinho, who has led the champions to just eight points from seven matches, has never lost to Southampton in the BPL, although both of last season's meetings were 1-1 draws. Midfielder Willian, who netted Chelsea's goal at Porto on Tuesday with a superb free-kick, says he and his team-mates have little time to dwell on their latest defeat with Saturday's match with Southampton looming. "I am happy with the goal but I am not happy with the result, because we want to win," he told www.chelseafc.com. "We tried to win, so we are disappointed. We have more games coming and we have to stay focused. I think we have to continue to fight, to train, to stay concentrated because we have more games coming." Despite the champions' struggles this season, Southampton defender Cedric Soares is in no doubt as to the ability of Portuguese manager Mourinho, his fellow countryman, and is relishing the chance to play against the Blues. "Everybody knows that the qualities he [Mourinho] has, he is an amazing coach," the 24-year-old told the Southern Daily Echo. "It will be a pleasure for me to play against him and for sure it will be a great game. It is a big game and every player wants to play those big games. It is about football. "Big stadiums, big environment - you want to play that high level and Chelsea is one of the best teams, so everybody wants to play. We will do our best to win." Ronald Koeman's men are on a poor run of away form, with no league win on the road in 10 matches - a run only equalled by Newcastle. The Dutchman will hope Graziano Pelle can continue to find the net after the striker netted four goals from seven matches to kick off the season. No Chelsea player has scored more than one goal in the league. Diego Costa is suspended and Thibaut Courtois (knee) is still a long-term absentee, while Jordy Clasie could return to the squad from Southampton, who are without Steven Caulker, Fraser Forster and Florin Gardos. Chelsea (from): Begovic, Blackman, Azpilicueta, Cahill, Djilobodji, Ivanovic, Rahman, Terry, Zouma, Fabregas, Hazard, Loftus-Cheek, Matic, Mikel, Oscar, Ramires, Traore, Willian, Falcao, Kenedy, Pedro, Remy. Southampton (from): K Davis, Gazzaniga, Stekelenburg, Bertrand, Cedric, Fonte, Martina, McCarthy, Targett, Van Dijk, Yoshida, S Davis, Isgrove, Mane, McQueen, Ramirez, Reed, Romeu, Tadic, Wanyama, Ward-Prowse, Juanmi, Long, Pelle, Rodriguez. http://m.premierleague.com/en-gb/matches/2015-2016/epl.summary.html/chelsea-vs-southampton |
Chelsea striker Diego Costa is available for Tuesday's match in Porto because his domestic three-match ban does not extend to European games. Blues manager Jose Mourinho, who oversaw the Portuguese club's Champions League victory in 2004, has no new injury worries for the Group G match. Porto midfielder Yacine Brahimi hurt his right knee against Moreirense on Friday, but is in the squad. Midfielders Hector Herrera and Silvestre Varela have been left out. The Blues began their group campaign with a 4-0 win over Maccabi Tel Aviv, although they are a lowly 15th in the Premier League after seven games. Porto coach Julen Lopetegui, a former Barcelona and Rayo Vallecano goalkeeper, said he has not factored in Chelsea's domestic form. "They have kicked off by winning 4-0 and that says how they are going to hang on to this competition, which is the most important at a club level," he said. "That they started their own league better or worse has no impact. They are great team with great potential at every level." http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/34384083 |

10. It is Part of Lunar Saros Series 137 Like solar eclipses, lunar eclipses tend to occur in 18 year long cycles called Saros cycles. Lunar eclipses separated by a Saros cycle share similar features, including time of the year and the distance of the Moon from the Earth. Eclipses that are separated by a Saros cycle are included in a Saros series. The September 27/ 28, 2015 Lunar Eclipse belongs to Saros Series 137. It is the 28th eclipse and the last total lunar eclipse in a series of 81 lunar eclipses. The series began with a penumbral eclipse on December 17, 1564 and will end with another penumbral eclipse on April 20, 2953. 11. It's the Last Eclipse of 2015 2015 has 4 eclipses, the minimum number of eclipses that can happen in a calendar year. The September 28 Total Lunar Eclipse marks the last eclipse of the year. It will be preceded by a partial solar eclipse on September 13, 2015. The first eclipse of the year, a total solar eclipse took place on March 20. Two weeks later, on April 4, 2015 the first lunar eclipse of 2015 took place. http://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/facts- |
8. Despite Rumors, the World Will Not End The views of pastors Blitz and Hagee gathered attention in early 2014, because the eclipses in the tetrad coincide with important Jewish festivals. The eclipses in April 2014 and April 2015 occured at the same time as Passover, while the October 2014 and September 2015 eclipses occur during the Feast of Tabernacles. Some people took this coincidence as a sign of the end of times. Others have dismissed any apocalyptic significance of the tetrad. Data of past eclipses show that at least eight lunar tetrads have coincided with Jewish holidays since the First Century. The Jewish Calendar is a lunar calendar and Passover always occurs around a full Moon. Since a total lunar eclipse can only occur on a full Moon night, it is very likely that an eclipse will take place on or near Passover. The Science Behind Total Lunar Eclipses In conclusion, scientists and astronomers have found no reason to believe that the current lunar tetrad is a sign of the world to end. Even mainstream religious organizations have debunked this claim, so don't start hoarding end-of-the-world supplies just yet! Doomsday Prophecies That Fizzled Out 9. It will Happen on Harvest Moon The Lunar Eclipse on September 27/ 28, 2015 will occur during the Northern Hemisphere's first fall (autumn) full Moon. Called the Harvest Moon in many northern cultures, it is the full Moon closest to the September Equinox, and is astronomically significant. On average the Moon rises about 50 minutes later every successive day in a lunar month – the time period between two full Moons or two new Moons. In New York, for example, a new Moon will rise at 6:50 am on September 13. On September 14, the Moon will rise almost 60 minutes later at 7:46 am. Around the Northern Hemisphere's Harvest Moon, this time difference between two successive moonrises decreases to about 30-40 minutes for a few days. In New York, a full Moon will rise at 6:36 pm (18:36) on September 27 and on September 28, the Moon will rise 40 minutes later at 7:16 pm (19:16). This curious phenomenon, which is also sometimes called the Harvest Moon Effect occurs because of the low angle that the Moon's path around the Earth makes with the horizon during the northern fall (autumn) months. This effect reverses during the Northern Hemisphere spring. The large angle that the lunar orbit makes with the horizon ensures that the moon rises more than 50 minutes later every day around the northern Spring Equinox. Because seasons in the Southern Hemisphere are opposite to the seasons in the North, the Harvest Moon Effect occurs around the southern Fall (Autumn) Equinox in March. http://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/facts-lunar-eclipse.html |
1. A Rare Eclipse of a Supermoon The full Moon of September 27/28 is a Supermoon – the Moon will be closest to the Earth. or at its perigee, as it turns into a full Moon. A rising Super Full Moon can look larger and brighter to spectators on Earth. Total eclipses of Super Full Moons are rare. According to NASA, they have only occurred 5 times in the 1900s – in 1910, 1928, 1946, 1964 and 1982. After the September 27/ 28, 2015 Total Lunar Eclipse, a Supermoon eclipse will not happen again for another 18 years, until October 8, 2033. 2. People in the US Will Get Front Row Seats People in eastern and central areas of the United States and Canada will have some of the best views of the Total Lunar Eclipse on the night of September 27, 2015, weather permitting. Here, the eclipse will begin after moonrise and finish around midnight (00:00 on September 28). Those on the West Coast will miss the beginning stages of the eclipse because they will happen before moonrise. It will be the last Total Lunar Eclipse visible from mainland USA until January 31, 2018. Moonrise and Moonset in Your City 3. Late Night & Early Morning Eclipse While North and South Americans will be able to see the eclipse after sunset on September 27, 2015, people in Africa, Europe and Middle East can view it during the early hours of September 28, before the Sun rises. Sunrise and Sunset in Your City 4. No Need for Eye Protection Lunar eclipses can be spectacular and they are easy to see with the naked eye. Unlike solar eclipses, which require protective eye wear, a lunar eclipse can be viewed without specialized eye wear. Tips: Moon Photography 5. A Solar Eclipse Takes Place Two Weeks Before Solar and lunar eclipses come in pairs – a lunar eclipse always takes place two weeks before or after a solar eclipse. The September 27/ 28, 2015 Total Lunar Eclipse will be preceded by a Partial Solar Eclipse on September 13, 2015. 6. It's Part of a Lunar Tetrad The September 28, 2015 Total Lunar Eclipse is the fourth and final eclipse in a series of four total lunar eclipses called the lunar tetrad. The first three eclipses of the tetrad took place on April 15, 2014, October 8, 2014 and on April 4, 2015. Notice something interesting about the dates? Each of the eclipses in the tetrad occurs about 6 months apart and have 5 full Moons between them! Moon Phases in your City Lunar tetrads can be rare in some centuries and can occur frequently in others. The 21st century will have 8 lunar tetrads, the maximum number of lunar tetrads that can occur in a century. The last time this happened was in the 9th century! The next lunar tetrad of the 21st century will start with the April 25, 2032 Total Lunar Eclipse. 7. ...And is Being Called a Blood Moon In recent years, the term Blood Moon has been frequently used to refer to total lunar eclipses. Some sources suggest that the term stems from the Bible. Christian pastors Mark Blitz and John Hagee claim that the eclipses of the 2014-2015 lunar tetrad fulfill a Biblical prophecy of forthcoming difficult and trying times. Astronomers do not use Blood Moon as a scientific term. However, it is possible that the term came to describe total lunar eclipses because of the reddish color the eclipsed Moon takes on during totality. This happens because of Rayleigh scattering, the same mechanism that causes colorful sunrises and sunsets. |
For me, I disagree what makes the haiglee so sure Joel was talking about endtime |
Sunday will present the rarest Supermoon – the first time in more than 30 years we will have a Supermoon and lunar eclipse at the same time. The result: a so-called "blood moon" that some in religious circles are suggesting will signal an end of the world type of event. So, while many astrological watchers are looking forward to the unique event, others are wondering if the end is near. Some in religious circles like pastor John Hagee say this Supermoon, often called a "Blood Moon" when it takes on a copper color during an eclipse, points to a significant world event like an apocalypse or Armageddon. Hagee, a Christian minister from Texas, suggests that there are "direct connections between four upcoming blood-moon eclipses and what they portend for Israel and all of humankind." "The coming four blood moons points to a world-shaking event that will happen between April 2014 and October 2015," he said. On Sunday (September 27, 2015) Earth's shadow will begin to dim the "supermoon" slightly, beginning at 8.11 p.m. EDT. U.S. and much of the world, a total lunar eclipse will mask the moon's larger-than-life face for more than an hour. "Over the last 500 years, blood-red moons have fallen on the first day of Passover three separate times. These occurrences were connected to some of the most significant days in Jewish history: 1492 (the final year of the Spanish Inquisition when Jews were expelled from Spain), 1948 (statehood for Israel and the War of Independence) and 1967 (the Six-Day War). Every heavenly body is controlled by the unseen hand of God, which signals coming events to humanity. There are no solar or lunar accidents. The next series of four blood moons occurs at Passover and Sukkot in 2014 and 2015," Hagee writesin material promoting his book Four Blood Moons. Hagee, according to ibtimes.com, "cites a passage from Joel 2:31 in the King James Bible that he claims predicts the end of days with the arrival of a blood moon. 'The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord comes,' reads the biblical passage." While not addressing Hagee, a NASA official recently addressed rumors that an asteroid would hit earth in late September, ending life as we know it supposedly. That is not expected to happen, he said. "There is no scientific basis - not one shred of evidence - that an asteroid or any other celestial object will impact Earth on those dates," said Paul Chodas, manager of NASA's Near-Earth Object office at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California.
