When Chelsea fans were shouting of how they were the most successful English team since 2004/05, where was ur unbiased azz to remind them EPL did not start in 2004? undecided
If any one wrote that and they are right how is it a problem as long as they are not using that to connote that their club is better than another Club with better pedigree.

Besides it might be surprising to you but I have a life outside Nairaland and so you are not likely to Find me jumping into all manners of argument and discussion.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › EFL Quarters: Chelsea vs Bournemouth On Dec 20th @ 8:45pm by pamcode(op):
TEAM NEWS
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte will hand midfielder Kenedy another chance to impress in Wednesday's Carabao Cup quarter-final against Bournemouth.
Kenedy, 21, has started just two senior games this term after being sent home from the club's pre-season tour of China over comments on social media.
Michy Batshuayi, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Dujon Sterling and Ethan Ampadu are also set to feature for the hosts.

Bournemouth will be without defender Charlie Daniels and forward Josh King.
'I want to give my players a big opportunity'
Kenedy will replace suspended left wing-back Marcos Alonso at Stamford Bridge in what will be his third League Cup start of the season, after playing in earlier wins against Nottingham Forest and Everton.
The Brazilian, who was accused by fans of xenophobia and racism in social media posts over the summer, has been challenged by his manager to push Alonso for his starting place.
"This is the past. It happened, but we stop [there]," said Conte. "The commitment to us was perfect and I think it is right for this reason for him to play in an important game.
"I have to trust my players, not only with words but with facts, to show that I trust them.
"I want to give my players a big opportunity in a big game to show me they should play."
Despite the promise of wholesale changes, Conte is determined to progress.
"Every competition is serious, our task is to try to win the game, to reach the semi-final," he said. "At the same time, it is right in this competition to give the opportunity to the players who are not playing regularly.
"Bournemouth are a really good team and we must be prepared to fight."
Bournemouth will be without Daniels and King after they picked up injuries in the defeat against Liverpool on Sunday.
Manager Eddie Howe also suggested he will rotate his team before their trip to Premier League leaders Manchester City this weekend.
"There will be a certain number of changes as I don't want us to suffer any more injuries," Howe said. "We need to make sure we leave Stamford Bridge feeling good about ourselves again and having given a good account.
"This year, the top teams have been absolutely ruthless. Of course there are going to be upsets, but more consistently they have put their dominance together against the lesser sides."

MATCH FACTS
This will be only the second meeting between these sides in the League Cup, with Chelsea winning both legs 1-0 in their previous encounter, the second round in 1994-95.
Bournemouth have only won one of their last nine meetings with Chelsea in all competitions (L8), though that win did come at Stamford Bridge back in December 2015.
The Blues have won seven of their last eight home League Cup games (L1), netting 24 goals in the process.
Chelsea have been eliminated from three of their previous five League Cup quarter-final ties.
The Cherries have never won in 15 previous away League Cup games against top-flight opponents (D3 L12), though they did eliminate Blackburn on penalties in September 2004 as a League One side, with Eddie Howe playing the full 120 minutes in that match.
This is only Bournemouth's second appearance in the quarter-final of this competition - they lost their previous such match 3-1 against Liverpool in 2014-15.
Michy Batshuayi has scored five goals in his five appearances in the League Cup, including a hat-trick against Nottingham Forest in the third round of this year's tournament.
Callum Wilson has scored in three of his last four League Cup matches for Bournemouth, in a run stretching back to August 2014.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Qarabag FK Vs Chelsea: UCL (0 - 4) On 22nd November 2017 by pamcode(op): 4:48pm On Nov 02, 2017
With Chelsea nine points behind leaders Manchester City in the Premier League, Conte may opt to rest players against Qarabag.

David Luiz could return in defence after losing his place in the side to Andreas Christensen following the defeat at Roma in October.

Striker Michy Batshuayi (ankle), forward Charly Musonda (knee) and wing-back Victor Moses (hamstring) are ruled out.

Qarabag lost 6-0 at Stamford Bridge in the first meeting between the two sides in this season's Champions League.

With just two points from four games they are unable to progress to the knockout round but boss Gurban Gurbanov wants to see full commitment from his players.

"We understand everything. We know the strength of our rival," he said.

"We will try to fight on the field till the end. This is our last match in Baku."

There were times I didn't understand the players position on the field. How come Azpilicueta was the one marking Sharawaay.. Where was Luiz? After Willian sub on it looked like we still kept on with three at the back.

Football can be funny. Attacking wise we were better than at Stamford Bridge but still we couldn't get a goal two of the goals came from our players not been able to close down spaces and Roma players very good at long shots made us pay. If we are to continue with this formation we need to get a versatile and compatible holding midfielder and a left wing back with more pace and good crosses.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Chelsea Vs Atletico Madrid : UCL (1 - 1) On 5th November 2017 by pamcode(op): 5:03pm On Oct 30, 2017
David Luiz will miss the last Champions League Group C game at home to Atletico Madrid with an ongoing knee problem.
The Blues boss was forced to deny the Brazil defender's absence was down to a breakdown in their relationship.
Luiz, 30, has played only once since criticising his manager's tactics for Chelsea's defeat to Roma in October.
Striker Michy Batshuayi could feature after being left on the bench for the win over Newcastle.
Conte told reporters the club are still trying to "solve the situation" with Luiz's knee injury but was quick to add that he had picked the centre-back when he was fit.
"Two weeks ago, then it was the past, then he played against Qarabag. If you don't trust what I tell you, it's your problem not my problem."
Chelsea, who guaranteed qualification to the last 16 with a win over Qarabag last month, can finish top with victory at Stamford Bridge.
Atletico must win and hope Roma drop points to reach the knockout stage.
Costa remains in Spain
Diego Costa will not travel to London to watch his old club play his future club after agreeing a deal to join Atletico in September.
The striker, 29, is not able to play for the Spanish club until January owing to a transfer embargo.
Costa forced through a return to Atletico after three seasons at Stamford Bridge, where he scored 58 goals in 120 appearances and won two Premier League titles.
But Conte was not interested in talking about his former player: "I think we must have great respect for Atletico Madrid and for the whole team, not only for one, two, three players."

Fabregas proved Conte wrong
Instead, the Italian focused on midfielder Cesc Fabregas, who he described as "a winner in his mind".
Fabregas, who is yet to win the Champions League despite an array of other major trophies with Arsenal, Barcelona and Chelsea, said he hoped this will be the year.
"We'll try our best to be consistent enough to reach the final and hopefully win," the Spain playmaker said.

Simeone's 'personal challenge'
Atletico have reached the quarter-finals or better of the Champions League in the last four seasons and in 2014 advanced to the final at Chelsea's expense.
But they need Qarabag to at least avoid defeat in Rome in order to progress this time.
Manager Diego Simeone said they would not be distracted by events in Italy.
"We just have to think about us," he said. "It's not going to be a simple game. We need to take the game to where we feel we can hurt them.
"It's a personal challenge to fight for everything we've worked for these last few years and keep our values there," the Argentine added.
Defender Filipe Luis, who returned to Atletico after spending a season at Chelsea in 2014-15, said the players are aware of their responsibility.
"It depends all on us. We need to win and then we'll have to wait. We can't do anything else."

MATCH STATS
The overall record in all competitions between Chelsea and Atlético Madrid is perfectly balanced with two wins each, two draws and 10 goals each.
Chelsea have scored in each of their last 25 home games in the Champions League. The last time they failed to find the net was in April 2011 against Manchester United (0-1).
Chelsea have reached the knockout stages of the Champions League for the 14th time in their 15 appearances. A win would guarantee top spot while anything else combined with a Roma victory against Qarabag would see the Blues finish second.
Ten different players have scored for Chelsea, more than any other team in the Champions League this season.
Eden Hazard has scored three goals and delivered two assists in his last four Champions League games.
