Obrigardo: The way people will vote does not depend on the way YOU see Trump . The proof is millions of people are still voting for him and want him back in the US Executive Mansion. Sleeping in your ivory tower and thinking that people will just throw Trump ballots into trash bags in November 2024 might cause you big bad surprise when raw data come out. Remember how Hitler came to power. Keep pouring those billions of dollars into that dumb war the US is fighting through Ukraine against Russia. Joe Biden can also start a war with Iran, North Korea . |

Obrigardo: 1.Go back to the Watergate scandal to see if polls didn't and do not matter. What percent of the American people approved the actions of the spy-president before he chose between resigning and being impeached ? 2. The American hostage crisis at the US embassy in Teheran after the Shah of Iran was kicked out of office in the 1979 Khomeini revolution. Remember? That was what doomed Carter's chance to get reelected. It was mainly that issue during which Reagan appeared to be the right to be in office. Carter lost because he was unable to get the hostages out. Things even got bad for him after the helico of commandos sent to free the hostages collided and crashed. Troops died. It was a humiliating situation Reagan promised would not happen if he got elected. 3. Bill Clinton campaigned against Bush's ( the father ) and even Reagan 's foreign policies that were putting the war on communism before American domestic needs. Bush was Reagan's vice president. 4.. Barack Obama campaigned against the 2nd war in Iraq, a war that wasted billions of dollars when American schools and police stations were closing down due to lack of funds. Following that war, the US economy was extremely in bad shape. 5. Trump campaigned on Immigration and mainly against Obama and Hillary's failure in the war in Libya where a US ambassador was Killed by mobs. This resonated a lot with voters. these same polls deceived criminal trump in 2020. Even weeks till election day polls had the criminal on top in the margins of error, and guess what - He still lost. These polls are not static, they vary and are dynamic. Tomorrow you'll have President Biden on top, next tomorrow you'll have Rasmussen putting criminal trump on top. They interview at least a 1000 people, and you think that determines the pulse of a 300m strong people and a 170million+ voting population? Get your head outta your ass. In 2016 Trump's victory was certain. Hillary lost and it was predictable through the polls. In 2020, Trump and his clique such as crooked Rudy Giuliani and all the money -hungry campaign fundraisers were doomed because Trump had exactly the same confidence Biden has now. Trump thought if he even shot someone, MAGA people would still send him back to the White House. It was a big mistake . Why ? because he couldn't see that many republicans had an issue with his confederate flags and gun- toting Breitbard people. Trump couldn't understand 2020 was NOT 2016. Barack Obama was not there anymore, " Crooked-Hillary " as he used to call her , wasn't in the race either and many Christians were distancing themselves from his extremist views on race relations. Biden campaign believes TRUMP being a threat to democracy, people will just vote for Joe Biden even if the latter keeps pouring billions of $$$$$ into the crooked Ukrainian regime's pockets when skyrocketing gas prices are hurting the American people. Other mistakes: 1. A weak border policy 2. Unnecessarily increasing the risk of WW3 by pushing for more European countries to join the warmonger alliance called NATO 3.No clear vision on how to tackle the increasing cost of living. All this is doing nothing but telling millions of voters to stay home. Many people are like Romney today, they don't want TRUMP , they don't want Biden either. Keep in mind in an election a candidate can lose when his usual voters stay home and the opponent 's voters go to the polls. That what might happen at this time when MAGA people are gearing up and Democrats/ Liberals are not seeing the need to take on the fight. PS: The polls data are not from Rasmussen but from CBS News. 1 Like |

Floky215: If you believe that Palestinians deserve to be wiped off because they are Muslims then you are NOT a Christian. If you believe that Palestinians who defend their land are terrorists because they are Muslims then you are NOT a Christian and NOT an African. If you support the propaganda mounted by the racist brutal and arrogant colonial power called Israeli government then you are spitting on the struggle our fathers and grandfathers led against the racist ,brutal arrogant European power that plundered African nations, enslaved us for centuries, killed our hundreds of thousands of African freedom fighters. If you don't understand that the Israeli government is a medieval theocratic extremist government not different from what Boko Haram and al Qaeda want to bring about in Africa, then you have a problem. If you don't see that Netanyahu is no difference compared to an Isis Caliph then you have a problem. Palestinians are mostly Muslims, reason why they will shout " Allahu akbar" when involved in a battle. This is NORMAL because they are Muslims. Isn't the same thing our Christian fighter jet Pilots do by invoking the name of St Michael when they are in a battle? |

Foreign Affairs / 36 Incompetent Governors In Nigeria ? by panafrican(m): 5:32am On Mar 10 |
Why are all eyes turning on Tinubu and the federal government when it comes to addressing hunger issues in a country with 36 governors? None of those governors has a plan to address a local issue ? what type of agricultural innovation did they undertake to pro-actively address that challenge? Did any of those governors even thought about hunger during the last political campaign? If yes then what happened? To have a strong federal nation in Africa we need governors who can pinpoint and resolve local challenges. We cannot always blame the federal government every day.

Foreign Affairs / Women Are NOT Safe In Afghanistan, Taliban Should Stop Lying, by panafrican(m): 1:31pm On Mar 09 |
How Taliban say women are safe in Afghanistan when the very same women cannot go to school, they cannot go anywhere without a man on their side , they cannot have a position like minister IN THE GOVERNMENT, they cannot become nurses, doctors, a teachers, in shot they cannot get a job. Women must just cover their head and stay home. It hard to believe that sect like the Taliban can still exist and run a whole country. The first slow who will try to bring up such a regime in African MUST face a firing squad. As Africans we do NOT cover our women heads, thus was the true life before the 7th century and must continue as such. Any African who disagrees is free to move to Saudi Arabia or Afghanistan with a one -way ticket.. |

Why now, after Mali, Burkina and Niger left ECOWAS? ECOWAS looks the other , talking about so-called "democratic election" when terrorists where wiping out villages and remote farms. The only thing ECOWAS was interested is to put back in power the French stooge that were overthrown in those countries. |

Floky215:We already had several military coups. in here and nothing really changed . We even saw how Shell connived with the Abacha regime to execute Ogoni leaders. The best way to go is each governor standing up to the challenges and putting in place an agrarian program that would involve thousands of square km being used to plan rice, cassava, banana, corn, etc. It takes a political will at the local level . Fortunately Nigeria is made of states, it means there already is a structure , all it takes is to be more creative without expecting that much from the federal government. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yf5Jh0Cmxrs 2 Likes |
Foreign Affairs / Tinubu Should Be Careful With France And The European Union. by panafrican(m): 10:42pm On Feb 25 |
We Africans talk with Westerners thinking that they are psychologically in the 21st century like us. We don't realize that a Westerner - even if he/she is a high tech person, a university professor, a prime minister , or a president- still lives in the 14th or the 17th century. They think they are the masters' of Africa, with the "natural right " to deceive us, plunder our resources, use us against each other, create chaos on our continent without being held accountable. Why did France pressure ECOWAS to invade Niger ? well because the French think we Africans should still fight their wars, like we did during WW1 and WW2. As a reminder, WW 2 veterans who came back from Europe were gunned down in their barracks in Dakar Senegal when they asked for better pensions.
