Looks like it's going to be a single exam. This suggests that they will cull a large number of applicants before getting to that stage.

About serving in 2018 and BEng in 2022, as long as you clearly indicate that you attained HND (which qualified you for NYSC in 2018) AND went on to do BEng, I think you are good to go. Make sure to include both HND and BEng certificates. Also perhaps explain your situation in the cover letter

Well the last time nlng called for gt was 2013, so the structure of choosing would’ve improved.

However for experienced hire, nlng automatically gives 10% to the host community, so I think this 10% is where godfatherism comes in play, you still need to meet the minimum requirement before you’re accepted tho
For the other 90%, at least 85% would get based on merit, only 5% would be based on connection(very very high connection)
The deciding factor is the Exam, the oral interview is just to understand your kind of person.

100%. Just find somebody that knows the ES (and have a good result 2:1 and above) or your course should be civil engineering , quantity survey, urban and regional planning, ICT and architecture (these courses with stand out) then the ES is an ABU alumnus if that helps
