Nigeria’s future was very bleak both economically
and socially with the electorate left to suffer from the
mismanagement of the country’s resources and that
it was now left for the past leaders to join hands

"Nigeria's future is very bleak"? That is the height of hopeless.A failure is always a failure.Buhari wrecked every aspects of our national life in 1984.Stupid illiterates & educated illiterates alike repackaged him as the panacea for the multicomplex problems bedevilling a 21st Nigeria. Now we are into a worser episode of what he did before. What a country! undecided cry

I don't know how true this index case is,but it is certain that this is not a new trend in the Army & the armed forces in particular. The case of the 32 soldiers who were illegally dismissed for complaining over similar issue on return from a UN mission some years back came to mind.It was Femi Falana that pursue the lawsuit & won before respite could come the way of the affected soldiers. Endemic corruption everywhere.Buratai should know that every man inhumanity to man will one day be rewarded here or someday by the Almighty "I" above.

God will save you from hate, deep seated bitterness & bias first then I'm open to saving for my own misdemeanours as well.

There is no government anywhere in the world that does not employ propaganda, what sets each apart is how it's propagated.

In this case, the message to be gleaned from the statement I quoted is one of keeping to the straight & narrow, not soiling one's hands which in my book is an overkill...

Defaulting on 1.2m isn't what we are talking about, it's the big numbers not what some use to make it rain in clubs in a couple of hours...

P.S.. Savor this response, e go tey before you see another!! cool
So why the APC's initial sanctimonious attitude of "Change" in our value system if every government employs the use of propaganda? That means APC remains a scam. You should rather save your damned response in your pocket

Politics › Falana Reacts To Buhari's $29.960bn Loan Plan by Paperwhite(op): 12:08am On Nov 02, 2016
Femi Falana, human rights activist and Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), has called on the federal government to drop its plan to borrow $29.960 billion to execute key projects across the country.

The soft-spoken lawyer said the government would be putting the collective destiny of the younger generation in jeopardy should it go ahead with the controversial decision.

President Muhammadu Buhari recently asked the approval of the National Assembly to borrow the said loan from the World Bank.

Falana, while speaking at the 2016 annual general conference of Committee for Defence of Human Rights (CDHR) in Lagos on Saturday, urged the federal government to source for funds locally.

The lawyer, who is a former president of CDHR, said the government should use recovered loot and go after chronic debtors to fund its projects
He said: “We hear that the federal government wants to borrow $29 billion to fund the economy, my advice is we do not need to do this at such a period in our economy.

“What about the millions of the recovered loots from those who stole our money, our money that are in the hands of those who decided to steal from the treasury?

“I have a report from Nigeria Extractive Transparency Initiative, NEITI which states that the oil companies and NNPC are owing the federal government a joint $20.2b.

“All these should be recovered and used for these projects instead of putting the destiny of the younger generation and those to come in jeopardy as a result of the huge national debt it will bring.”

Politics › Re: Another Bomb Blast, A Reaffirmation Of Chibok Conspiracy by Paperwhite(m): 9:41am On Oct 31, 2016
OLADD:
For those who swiftly condemns anyone that expresses skepticism about the genuineness of Chibok abduction claims, the incident of bomb blast on the eve of the release of 21 Chibok girls few weeks ago and today's news emanating from Borno State about another deadly explosion should without prejudice put pay to the lies been peddled around the apparent conspiracy tagged Chibok abduction. While it's incontrovertible that a kidnap indeed took place, events before and after the April 14, 2014 incident clearly point to the fact that Chibok is a local and international conspiracy for the sole purpose of wining the 2015 elections. These are the damning facts and inescapable questions:

1. After combing Sambissa forest for more than a year post May 2015 inauguration, why was there no trace of Chibok girls despite the release of more than 2000 hostages both young and old, male and female by the Nigerian Army?

2. Why did Boko haram choose to strike on the eve of releasing 21 Chibok girls despite the claim by the government of intense negotiations and compromise?

3. How could a sect that has wasted more than 15,000 lives decide to release 21 girls without a swap or prisoner exchange as claimed by the govt?

4. Do the unfolding events suggest that the Chibok girls were carefully kept in a secluded environment by some unscrupulous elements with the connivance of local (State) authority in a bid to draw both international and local appeals all geared toward discrediting the then sitting govt?

5. Why would Boko haram be magnanimous in releasing some of the Chibok Girls but continues to kill other innocent citizens at the same time?

6. Are we been made to believe that the government of Buhari has been "negotiating" with a faction of Boko haram that "abducted" the Chibok girls while the other deadly faction remain unreachable, uncompromising or evasive? With these latest killings, is there any substance in the so-called negotiation claims?

7. If indeed negotiations are ongoing, why would Boko haram decide to strike today, killing people in the process while Buhari's govt is promising a release of another set of 83 Chibok hostages?

While we mourn the spirits of those caught in the latest dastardly act of human wasters who will do anything to achieve religious, political and economic aims, we would not shy away from the responsibility of exposing the gigantean conspiracy which Chibok represents.

God bless Nigeria.
This is another insight to the "Chibok girls" debacle.God bless you well.

Shehu Garba lied.Buhari have simply been intolerant of the judiciary or showed impunity to court judgements that never went in his favour.Fela's forceful conviction by a judge who later became stricken by guilty conscience & apologized to the late music icon is a peculiar case.Recall the Dasuki & Nnamdi Kanu cases. Why do they keep changing the judges handling these cases & opting for secret trial? Since they can't get any evidence to convict these fella,so they kept looking for judges who will play along. Amaechi should resign to clear his name as this is a weighty allegation on this government otherwise the judges are right in their assertions.

First we hear boko haram is technically defeated by commander in chief.

Then we hear soldiers kidnapped by boko haram.

Then we hear Boko haram didn't sexually abuse girls.

Now boko haram is 100% defeated.

Must be a great week in Nigeria if all this is true. I doubt many have trust government that much though. Bookmarking this story. If it changes we know this is truly a propaganda government.
