I just went to YouTube to watch highlights of James Obiorah and I was just shaking my head. Imagine at a time we had Okocha, Oruma and Obiorah and right now we are always banking on players like Ndidi. How low he have gone
I don't know if he played for any elite clubs during his playing days but I'm sure that no matter the issues he had with the coach that made him to be excluded from the national team for long, it would have been different if he was playing regularly for an elite club.
Imagine he was playing for Newcastle then and he was droping made performances, he would have been invited to the SE

What would Ameobi possibly gain by offering to give Keshi bribe at that age?

In super eagles,It's difficult for players and coaches to give and collect bribe because so many people has a stake,unlike the youth teams.

If they accuse one national youth team coach of collecting bribes from 50% of his players born in Nigeria,it won't be more difficult to believe than super eagles coach and a foreign born player.

The best news for us right now is our growing depth of midfield options which was a position we're badly struggling in for years...now we can easily boast of Ndidi, Iwobi, Onyeka as the veterans, and then younger generations like Nnadi, Francis Onyeka (German born talent), Onyedika, Fisayo, Ugochukwu, Tim Iroegbunam, Gibson Yah, Tijani, David Moses, Alhassan Yusuf, David Ozoh and even Femi Azeez (who can play as a CAM in Chelle's system).
