komekn: That's not TRUE.
The problem lies with the NFF not with the Nigerian origin players in Europe.
They don't create relationships in the first instance.
And you will have to admit just like every single quasi government and government body. The official have one major preoccupation. How to make money by hook or crook.
Nigerian born players are obligated to have godfathers in the NFF and sign up with preferred NFF agents or proxies and or even pay their match bonus to NFF officials. The Nigerian born players are far more likely to concede and play along its normal practice to them.
However, that will not work with players born in the UK who are not desperate and will find such demands totally unacceptable. we are saying the same thing just that I wasn’t too open with the corrupt practices in the nff though my claim of telling this kids to pay for the flight ticket to Nigeria for training sections should be in the same bracket with few other dubious practices you highlighted in your post |

Joebie: The best way to reach out to those boys is just put it on paper without contact, make dem cry well well say we never reach out haha. Continue to mess with their head. U know like when u tell a friend of a girl say u like e friend, but u no dey ever make move. Lol no matter how hard we try we can’t hv all of them at once. We get some as well as lose some I think the better way to approach them is snapping them when they re yet to hit stardom by integrating them to our youth teams but the nff hardly do that and when they do they insist the players will take the responsibility of paying for their flight ticket which is not encouraging at all If I happen to be a parent in europe and the nff give such condition to my kid no way will I accept that This is one of the issue the nff needs to address. Atleast in any of our age grade team they should try to incorporate 2-5 talented foreign born players for future purposes. No matter how we paint it as been unpatriotic it’s difficult to ignore the lure of this top European footballing nations when they come calling. These players tend to lean more to the country of their birth because it’s easy for them to assimilate into the team where they hv the opportunity to play with others that were their friends growing up as well as club mates than coming to a terrain they barely know nothing about. Even I doubt many of them hv visited Nigeria before A good example is the young Brighton defender currently in their first team. Such are players that were suppose to be given a chance in the u20 team but once he hits stardom by making decent numbers in the epl and attracting the English and Nigerian Fa it becomes difficult for him to choose Eze hv always nursed the ambition to play for England but only trained with the super eagles when it seem he wasn’t sure of making it in top flight football. Immediately he started doing well with Qpr in the 2nd tier of English football the FA came calling for him to be part of the u20 team which he hurriedly without hesitation accepted at the expense of a call to the same super eagles team he trained with in the Uk 🇬🇧 earlier It implies that he’s major goal hv always been to play for he’s country of birth |

ChrisKels: You are such a big liar, and you are always desperate for cheap glories. You trynna make it seem you the reason we got to know about the boy while most of us had read about these names long ago from ANG? Even in here, the first person to bring news about these guys was Charles Emeka. The news he also copied from ANG site. You are yet to bring a single unknown talent or player to our notice, so ogbeni deck down.
That aside, those boys aren't looking our way, so there is no point wasting our time and resources chasing them, instead we have to harness the talents we have locally. spot on |

komekn: I don't know but how do your know Werder Bremen are trying to make a decision between these two players ❓
Anyways while they are deciding bigger clubs are trying to buy him like Crystal Palace, Everton, Wolves, West Ham, all in the EPL.
So going to Werder Bremen would be a step down not up for him. They are effectively a very poor suitor and maybe a striker from a league rated 17 in Europe bus probably more of their level. ( Chuba is to big for them ) palace, Everton, wolves and westham bigger than werder Bremen? Nah, I no gree Epl is bigger than bundesliga I agree but werder Bremen is bigger that the 5 English clubs you mentioned |

Marjoribanks: If he remain at Naples he won't score ten goals next season. Those White guys are becoming selfish. His last 3 goals did not come from good assists but from real hussle. The time to leave is now! not even that. There re rumors that some of napoli’s top players will leave in the summer including Spaletti |

Marjoribanks: Keep crying. We do not need him. If Nwakali had the same priviledge of growing up in England, he won't even be at Crystal Palace at 25 years. Rest! He only has one Euro and one world cup if he is fortunate. Sancho, Sterling, Ferguson, Mount are breathing down on his neck. We wish him all the best. His inclusion in the Eagles won't make us win a world cup and we could win AFCON without him. Rest! imagine retaining hope in a player that haven’t done anything tangible for 7 seasons I’m glad that the u20 team hv decent midfielders that will grow to add more steel to or midfield |

German footballing legend Lothar Matthäus is a Bundesliga champion, World Cup winner, Ballon d'Or winner, television pundit — and now football club owner after buying Ghana Premier League side Accra Lions.
Together with business partners Oliver König, a former German player agent, and former Ghanaian international Frank Acheampong, Matthäus is keen to develop talent in West Africa and open up a route to Europe for young players.
"Of course it's a business model," the 62-year-old told German tabloid Bild. "Ghana has always had huge potential in terms of talent, and you can see that in the national team."
Founded in 2015 and are currently ninth in the Ghanaian top flight, the Accra Lions are valued at $2 million (€1.85 million) by Transfermarkt, although details of the level of Matthäus' personal investment have not been disclosed.
"We want to bring young players to Europe in a serious way and already well-trained," the former Bayern Munich star said. That's why we're also investing in the training ground here."
One of Matthäus' new partners, Frankfurt player agent König who had reportedly built extensive contacts in West Africa, joined Accra Lions in January as chairman.
König's sporting director is an acquaintance from the Bundesliga, Ibrahim Tanko, 45, a Ghanaian who played at both Borussia Dortmund and SCFreiburg, and spent time as a scout and coach at Cologne.
The third part of the ownership triangle, Acheampong, a 29-year old Ghanaian national team player is now suiting up in the Chinese Super League. He has played professionally in Ghana, Thailand and for Belgium's first-tier Anderlecht club.
As a Bundesliga Legend and ambassador, Matthäus has spent a significant amount of time in Ghana.
His investment of time and mentorship in Ghana has now been followed by a financial investment meant to reap rewards for individuals with eyes on European football.

daveP: We blew chances i lost count. Wetin sef.
I noticed Daga was cautioned in dressing room. He was involved more in attack in first half and exposed the defence as he was far from duty post. But 2nd half he was solid and at duty. I don't like those wasted chances. That's a 300% of being goals but we wasted them. Moments i hate such is when we need a goal in a KO moment. E go pain ke die. Like that 2008 Olympics final vs Argentina. We knocked to no avail. I hope they improve on this.
The scoreline didn't do us justice of what happened. Almost 30 attempts overall. daga’s major issue is that he is easily dragged out of position He should be told that he’s major responsibility is shielding the back 4 |

daveP: These boys still have problems with finishing. Chai.
This was easily a 5-0 match. I like how the ref wasn't having any of those rubbish cheap foul the Italian boys were looking for. Our passing is very sweet. I give them that one.
If this is the Italians that beat Brazil, then we will easily beat those ones, but waste chances. Thanks to VaR for maintaining the tempo of this game. That Agbalaka handball would have ruined this game. Nice Allison moment for that Sunday goal.
Seems the fans will turn up to enjoy our last game. We really entertained the crowd. Lovely.
Never gave them a chance. Now they are through to next round.
Notable performance
Ogwuche Bameyi(this guy just dey blow nose all over the pitch. Kilode?)🤣🤣🤣🤣 Eletu
I wasn't impressed by Salim Fago even though he scored. Guy wasted chances mehn. But nice teamwork.
Overall i wished they shot direct at goal than trying to give inbox passes that fizzles out the attack. I counter over 11 such times that a shot would have stunned their goalie but they passed and wasted.👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Ogwuche is good too. Very solid at the back |

That was an impressive performance. This is what happens when you invite the right players. Some Nigerian coaches may definitely has the tactical knowledge but egunje no go let them call up suitable players.
Kudos to the goalkeeper...his calmness and composure especially with aerial ball is impressive. He is miles better than Oga NEPA. nah I don’t think so because bosso will rest a lot of players since the team hv qualified for the next round with a game to spare |
