Real Madrid have made Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez their number one target for the summer, according to the Daily Mirror.

Jose Mourinho is asking his paymasters at the Bernabeu to make a £35m bid for the Argentina star, and the paper claims that the club's general manager Jorge Valdano has sounded out Tevez's agent Kia Joorabchian about a deal.

Chelsea's billionaire owner Roman Abramovich is to pull out all the stops to bring Guus Hiddink and Gianfranco Zola back to Stamford Bridge to run the club, according to Tuesday's papers.

Almost all of the tabloids report that the Russian will do everything he can to prise Hiddink away from his current role as Turkey boss, while he is equally determined to bring in Chelsea legend Zola as his number two.

The Sun, Daily Mirror and Daily Express all carry the story, with the Express claiming that Hiddink will be offered £6 million a year to take the reins once again. The Dutchman had a successful spell as temporary manager in 2009 which ended with him leading the Blues to victory in the FA Cup.

Joseph Yobo has ruled out retiring from the Super Eagles in the immediate future. Instead, the defender has set his sights on hitting a century of appearances for his country.

The Nigeria skipper marked 80 caps and 10 unbroken years of international representation when he led the Super Eagles out against Ethiopia, and says he has rediscovered his love of the game.

"There was a time when things wre so bad that I thought about retirement, but now the spirit has changed, the atmosphere has changed and I am enjoying the new set up," Yobo told KickOffNigeria.com.

"I want to play on. When you are enjoying the game, enjoying family life, playing regularly for you club and staying fit, you can't be thinking of retirement.
