Remita is a private firm, the IPPIS is under the Auditor General's office.

Remita is a recent consultant for the FG and they are only involved with collating federal revenue to the STA.

They have nothing to do with salaries.

As at last month, IPPIS servers was blamed for the delay of salaries so how come it is now Remita?

Remita is a payment platform used by CBN to pay workers. It is also the platform that is used by federal government to transfer MDA's revenue to the TSA in CBN.

IPPIS is a software payroll management system used to compile and compute federal workers salary. It is not a payment platform. It is just like an organisation using a software to compute the monthly salaries of its workers. After computation, they will still take the computed list to bank to effect the payment. The bank will pay with their own payment platform and not the organisations payroll software.

Seunmsg come and tell us how Remita is now the platform for payment of FG salaries.

This is because under the last administration salaries where always paid on the 25th apart from on two occasions which were linked to a breakdown in the IPPIS server and a shortage of cash arising from payment of subsidy to fuel importers.

These people are desperate. We should be very vigilant or else we will be in serous sh1t
