TheStoriesOfMan: The thing is this: this will be a trying time for the incompetent government. I advise them not to take further actions by going ahead to neutralize them. They know this, probably wants to postpone it to after the elections.
Majority of the alleged plotters are from an "untouchable" ethnic group north of the country. Doing it now will heavily ruin the chances of the incumbent from holding unto power in the next election. They'll probably want to fancy their chances.
If this was a government with a listening ear, they should equip the armed forces with military hardware, their salaries generously improved and their welfare taken care off, even after retirement.
But will they? Your answer is as same as mine. What sort of dull comment is this |

Ofunaofu: Anybody today can defeat Tinubu.
On his own, he can’t even pull 500,000 votes nationwide.
He relies on governors, senators, reps, LGA chairmen, agberos, and thugs to intimidate voters and snatch ballot boxes.
No real mass appeal, just criminal machinery to snatch it, grab it and run away with it So nah Governors, Senators, Reps, etc help him pull the votes he pulled in 2023? I pity Obidients like you. It was Obidients like you that couldn't take the 2023 result and started asking for coup and war |
Politics › Re: 2027: ‘They’ll Defeat Him’ – Udenta Names ADC Ticket To Send Tinubu Packing by Parachoko: 9:12am On Apr 21 |
WhizdomXX: Obidients are too kind, same Kwankwaso that rejected the offer in 2023, now that he was exposed in that election, you guys are running wild that he has agreed to deputise Obi. Common this guy has been openly demystified, he could not get up to 100k votes in any State in the North, aside his home State, talk less of the South. Not saying Obi should not work with him to secure the presidential ticket of ADC but he should not think it's his birthright if Obi secures it. Unless the data shows he can be of suitable benefit in winning the general election. My view is Obi should fight for the ticket, with his support against Atiku who is the bookies favourite, and if he gets it, sit down with stakeholders in the party and make sure Atiku's camp has a buy-in into whoever is selected as his VP candidate. For me, the goal should be to make sure the opposition is united but most importantly Atiku's structures and Obi's popularity and youthful mobilization. 6.1+6.9;13M. Because come to think of it, this was same Kwankwaso that was in discussion with Tinubu just last month, even his 1.3+Tinubu's 8.7 is 10M. And Tinubu will ensure to improve on that number this year across all the States, especially in the South. Obidients should look to doing the same across all the States in the North not just in Kano state. Synergy with Atiku's camp at the end of the day is the true answer. Even if Obi his Atiku's vice, they won't have up to 13m votes. Obi got most of his votes from the south east. Atiku can never get the kind of votes Obi got in the East. In fact, If Obi is not contesting, the turn out in the East in 2027 will reduce compared to 2023 |
Politics › Re: 2027: ‘They’ll Defeat Him’ – Udenta Names ADC Ticket To Send Tinubu Packing by Parachoko: 9:07am On Apr 21 |
Sheuns: The last time an incumbent southern president was defeated in an election was by a northern candidate backed with a section of the south.
To remove Tinubu it has to be a strong northern candidate paired with a strong support from a section of the south.
Putting up a southern candidate against Tinubu may result in victory for Tinubu. The northerners may vote Tinubu because they’re guaranteed power after his second 4 years.
Peter Obi vs Tinubu in an election will favor Tinubu more.
I suspect those pushing the narrative are working for APC either directly or indirectly.
Tinubu vs a strong northern candidate is what can remove him from that seat.
Our goal should be to oust this government and party first. So you guys are now accepting the fact that Obi can never defeat Asiwaju. Nice One |

Naijahero1: The truth remains that Obi-Kwankwaso or Atiku-Obi is a winning ticket for ADC. Both requires work. Again, I have told my fellow Obidients and ADC members that defeating TInubu at the polls is not the problem, it's defeating the dangerously corrupt INEC and Judiciary. There must be a serious plan on how to deal with INEC and judiciary legally without going to court. We need Nigerians who are mad for change, a revolution kind of election. ADC must show Nigerians the readiness to defend the votes.
Obi no doubt has the majority of the southern votes in his pocket even as deputy. If Atiku can collaborate with Kwankwaso and push TInubu out of the north. After all, TInubu is no longer popular in the North. Then by noon, TInubu will know his fate.
On the other hand, Obi-Kwankwaso is also a winning ticket that will fly if Atiku gives his support and canvas the votes of the Northerner. The truth remains that ADC is not contesting against TInubu because he is not even on the ballot. ADC is contesting against INEC and judiciary. All this noise and speculation are not necessary. What's important is that plan for INEC and judiciary. It's good some Obidients are already accepting the fact that Peter Obi can Never Become the President Of Nigeria |
