Am going to be honest, I can't forget...but then again, when God forgives us everytime we sin, he forgets the sin too. So...we have to ask for his help in following his example, and trust him

Also, it's not going to be easy...but then again, that's life. We got to accept that people are not perfect, people will fail us, and someone we love and trust will mess it up one day, and may do it unknowingly. Of course, we also have times (as experienced by my brother once) where people will back us up in time of trobule...people we even barely know....but accepting that humans are not perfect is the first step to forgiving and forgetting.

After all when we wrong people, don't we eventually expect them to forgive and forget...(unless we are some masochists who expect eternal punishment for small wrongs...lol).

Forgiveness helps to remove the emotional burden we would have otherwise tied to an action that hurt us - and the malice that it may have in our "spirit" towards the offender.

It is clearly stated in that your bible that God is not willing that any sinner should perish but He wish they all repent and come to the knowledge of truth.

Those innocent people killed by the Israeli armies in Iran and Gaza are sinners ( I am not judging o ). If you consider the fact that they have not given their lives to Christ .

Even the Israelis don't recognise Jesus Christ.

My wife has been acting weird for some months now, like she doesn't apologize if she is wrong, doesnt try to seek avenues for us to reconcile if we have quarrels. Instead, I am the one that always put the foot forward. If I point out something, she shows no remorse. She often says things like 'this life na once' .

Just a background.

I stumbled on this message sent by her workplace close girl friend. This tiktok message talks about falling in love with a married man because the man makes her feel loved etc etc.

But the caption below by the friend says, we will miss you so much.

My mind has been wondering what it means.
I woke her from sleep to confront her to explain what the message means (it's a message sent this January) ..she looked scared or maybe anxious as I asked her if she had cheated on me with anyone recently.. offcourse ,'no' is the normal answer.

I showed her the message for her to explain what it was about . She said she can't remember what it was about and that she doesn't know. When I pressed further, she started gaslighting that if I feel she cheated, I should give her a divorce .

Dear house, what are you views on this matter? I am more concerned about what this message might mean.

Your statement immediately reminds me of the many people out there who lend money to friends and family members without written proof of such a transaction. They claim that the trust, or is it a bond between them, should be enough to carry the agreement. But, after some time has passed, many of these same people come back wondering why their debtors would not pay them back the money owed. Some treat them like beggars when they go asking to be paid the money borrowed. When such people complain, I can't help but see them as fools who deserve the treatment they keep getting.😐
