I had the worst nagging experience of my life today. chai how can someone complain from 9:45 pm to 3:00 am.

What started this argument I don't even know I kept quite for 2 hrs only for me to burst out in anger because I was constantly reminded how I was a failure, how I stole my sister's 5k fifteen years ago, how I spent my own bursary allowance at the university 10 yrs ago, infact all sort of irrelevant accusations where being dug up, it was like a blast from the past and I almost ran mad, not because of the accusations but because of the way those words kept disturbing my peace.

This same nagging experience from the past made me buy earphones all the time, but today I couldn't find any. My ears heard a lot and I bursted out in anger and Spit out painful words, cos I was frustrated by the noise.

Now am regretting my actions, I should have kept my cool. The regret plus the nagging is suicidal. I just had to play a verse of the Quran (yasin) on my playlist even though am not a Muslim (found that quranic verse on my song list). Have you experienced such before? Whether from family or friends or total strangers

Why will you regret what you said ? Own it brother. Let the "nagger" also deal with your words. Everyone has a limit . Thank God yours is not taking a knife or gun .

Do you know that God wants churches to be hosting mass Evangelism crusade everytime, but because of the financial limitations of the church members those crusade are done once in a while

If you don't follow those principles even as a christian it will be hard to be prosperous. That is why people do not need Christ to prosper.

Again at bible passage you quoted. Check Context . Isolating a passage without looking at the whole chapter is not a good way to study the Bible sir .

If a pastor has poor members , he should close his ministry or look for rich people to join his church ? Are you.really thinking deep about this take? God cannot provide for his church anymore ? If the message is from God , trust me resources will show up for that church.

My point is that the pentecostal church has develooed an unhealthy focus on wealth that is why some pastors can insult those they perceive as poor people .

2 Corinthians 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

Go and read the whole chapter . learn the context leading up to that verse .

It is seriously amazing how people are neglecting the weightier matters of the soul and focusing on the intangibles. Non believers can also be wealthy. Non believers can also be healthy. Yet they dont have christ. Invest , save, eat right , exercise . You don't need christ for that .
Jesus said in several places in the bible how things are more difficult for a wealthy person in kingdom matters. Yet somehow some pastors have made being in poverty an evil .

Yet there are several bible passages asking people to help the poor. Give to the poor . That the poor will always be amongst us .
