MY STORY: I’ll Tell The Whole World What My Dad Did To Me – Says Pregnant Teenage Girl Defiled By Father In Osun (PHOTO)

Posted by: foluso on July 31, 2013

The trend among some fathers who choose to have s*x with their daughters has reached an alarming state, with a new dimension introduced by a father who allegedly had carnal knowledge of his eight and half months pregnant daughter in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State, when she went to visit him after about 14 years of living apart.

vicandather

The girl, Ibukun, (not real name) who was impregnated by her lover in another state where she lived with her paternal grandmother was said to have been brought to Ibadan when she started having complications with her pregnancy. Her mother, who got separated from her father last December, took her in to keep an eye on her, but with her meagre income of N250 per day which she earns as a cook assistant in a local cafetaria, the woman seemed incapable of taking care of Ibukun and her two younger brothers who were staying with her.

When Ibukun saw that life in Ibadan did not suit her, she decided to go back to Osogbo. However, she had the urge to see her father whom she had not seen for 14years since her grandmother took her into custody. But her decision spelt peril for her as she allegedly ended up being defiled by her father.

According to Ibukun, “I was defecating one day when I started bleeding. I was taken to hospital where they saw my womb protruding from my cervix. The ultrasound scan I did showed that I had placenta previa. At another hospital, the womb was pushed in and I was warned not to have s*x until delivery.

“I was brought to Ibadan but I was not comfortable. I told my mother that I wanted to go back to Osogbo but I thought of going to see my father whom I saw last when I was a child. I asked my younger to take me there, with the thought that I would at least get transport money from him.

“I went there on Saturday July 20 with the intention of sleeping over. My brother went to sleep and I also went to lie down. My father came and ordered me to remove my clothes, raining curses on me. He started robbing my br**sts with his hands. He later took black soap, rubbed it on his hands and started using the hands to rub my br**sts again.

“By then, I could see that he was aroused as his manhood had risen beneath the loin cloth he tied around his waist. It was after that that he had s*x with me. I was weeping and my brother saw him and exclaimed ‘Ah! My brother also started crying. It was my brother who told my mother but I went to my aunt at Bodija area and narrated my experience to her.”

The father, Mr Kehinde Olasode however denied sleeping with his daughter, swearing with the Quran. He said that he only used some leaves recommended to him to bath his daughter because of the bleeding she was experiencing in pregnancy.

Olasode said: “She had been living with my mother in Osogbo since she was about five years of age. I have not seen her all these years. About two months ago, I was called and informed that she was pregnant and bleeding. I called her mother to inform her and she brought her to Ibadan to stay with her mother at Apete. On Saturday, July 20, her brothers brought her to me, and I sat her down to castigate her for getting pregnant instead of being serious with education or a vocation.

“Meanwhile, someone told me to get Jatropha (lapalapa) leaves with black soap with which she should bath, saying that the bleeding she was experiencing would stop. I used the soap to rub her head and her br**sts and gave her water to rinse her body. I don’t know how they came about the story that I slept with her.”

The mother, Adijat, told Crime Reports that she left her husband in December to look for means of survival in Lagos because he was not responsible over the three children she bore him. “The burden was too much for me. He has another woman who bore him two children.

“My daughter got pregnant in Osogbo and she later started bleeding. We brought her to Ibadan and she stabilised. When I noticed that she was almost due, I agreed with her to go back to Osogbo because there is no single baby dress in Ibadan and I am financially incapacitated to buy them.

“She went to her father on July 20 and came back to tell me that her father rubbed and squeezed her br**sts, vowing to expose him to the whole world. She also said that he slept with her but I don’t know how true that is.”

Crime Reports gathered that the case was reported at Mapo police station and the Divisional Police Officer, SP Ganiyu Ali ordered the arrest of the suspect.

Confirming the story, the Police Public Relations officer in Oyo State, Olabisi Okuwobi-Ilobanafor, said that the suspect would be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), for further investigations. Crime Reports also gathered that nurses at the State Hospital, Yemetu could not conduct the test necessary to check for presence of spermatozoa in Ibukun’s vulva because of her bleeding state, so as not to trigger labour.

[SHOCKING PHOTO] Jungle Justice: Lagos Policemen Kill Undergraduate and Friend In A Gruesome Lynching

Posted by: foluso on July 31, 2013

Policemen attached to the Badagry Police Division, Lagos State, and some hoodlums have been accused of killing a 25-year-old undergraduate of Delta State University, Ifechukwude Nwainokpor, and his friend, identified simply as Kazeem.

the-hoodlums-in-action.-insert-nwainokpo1-360x225

An eight-minute video clip of the gruesome killing showed the two victims handcuffed together. They were covered in their own blood and beaten to death with sticks. Tyres were also put round their necks.

An irate mob could be seen in the video, shouting, “die, die, burn them, burn them.”

At some points in the video, a policeman was seen interviewing the boys. He asked who sent them (victims) to rob the area, an accusation they denied. One of the hoodlums, holding a sharp object attempted to cut off the private part of one of the victims.

Nwainokpor could be seen pleading with the hoodlums and policemen to spare his life, saying he could identify himself if given a chance. His plea, however, fell on deaf ears.

A source, who visited the family of Nwainokpor on Tuesday, learnt that the lynching took place around 3pm on July 21, 2013 in Ajara area of Badagry, a community not far from Nwainokpor’s family home.

His father, Samuel said that his son was arrested while passing through a street in the area but a misunderstanding later ensued and the hoodlums pounced on him and Kazeem.

He added that Nwainokpor, who was nicknamed Ify, was a final year student of Geology and Mining.

He said, “On that particular day, I was in Ghana when I received a telephone call that I should come immediately. My wife was in Delta State taking care of her mother.

“When I arrived two days later, my relatives and the caretaker of my house told me that my son was killed in the Ajara area along with his friend. I was devastated.

“I got my son a temporary job with a Customs licensed agent since their lecturers were on strike. He worked everyday except on Sundays when he visited his friends. On that day, he went to see Kazeem and they were strolling around Ajara.”

Samuel said because there had been a robbery in Ajara four days earlier, some of the residents were on the lookout for strange faces.

He added that when the youth saw two unknown young men, they accosted them and an argument ensued.

He said the youth called the head of the vigilante group in the area, one Asiribo.

He said, “Asiribo came to the scene with a locally-made pistol and handcuffs. He handcuffed my son and his friend before asking them questions.

“Later, it was decided that the boys be taken to the Baale, Agano Oniyon of Agamade Ajara. But as they were going, Asiribo, while trying to return his gun into its pouch, mistakenly shot himself in the stomach and died.”

Samuel said Asiribo’s death infuriated the youth, who blamed the boys for his death.“The mob picked up sticks and beat them to death. Policemen were there,” he said.

Holding back tears, the retired immigration officer added that the police treated the matter as a robbery case. Beating his chest, Samuel said there was no way his son would have been involved in armed robbery.

Nwainokpor’s boss, Aloysius Onyenibedi, described him as an honest and hardworking person.

“I trusted him to the extent that I used to keep a lot of money with him. He was good to my children and was honest,” he said.

The Nwainokpor family berated the Divisional Police Officer, Badagry Police Station, Dankoli Mohammed, for the manner he treated the case.

The spokesperson for the state police command, Ngozi Braide, said, “The incident is quite pathetic. Even if they were armed robbers, no one has the right to take the life of another. Why then do we have the police and the judiciary? The Nigerian police as well as the law condemn mob action and jungle justice. The commissioner of police has set up a high- powered investigation body to investigate the matter.”

Little-known Facts About the Nigerian Civil War

This post contains facts about the Nigerian Civil War that young Nigerians may not know about. This post is not exhaustive in anyway and no post ever will, but attempts will be made to post more 'little-known' facts about the Civil War later.

The initial plan was to create states in the Eastern Region only. The plan was shelved because it considered unwise, and 12 States were created throughout the country on 27 May 1967.
Prior to the war, the North had the absolute majority within the rank and file of the Army because of the ethnic quota system.
The letters of the name of Head of state of Nigeria, GOWON, came to mean "Go On With One Nigeria" during the war.

The Biafra Army conducted a training exercise codenamed “Exercise Checkmate”. This exercise was so realistic as the Nigerian Army reacted exactly the way Biafrans expected them to. Their enemies were not new to them; many Biafran officers were in the Nigerian Army before the war.
"Red Devil" tanks were the improvised armoured vehicles of the Biafran Army. They were created by the ingenuity of Biafran engineers. They were dangerous and cumbersome. They were easy targets for anti - tank recoilless weapons during the war.
Patrick Chukwuma ‘Kaduna’ Nzeogwu, the leader of the first military coup in Nigeria, was killed by Nigerian forces while using one during the war.
The Nigerian soldiers enjoyed rapid promotion and pay increase throughout the war.
The Nigerian Government imported some pretty sophisticated weapons that could not be maintained. Many had to be discarded only after a few months.
Lt. Col Steiner was a ‘mercenary’ (put in quotation marks because he reportedly fought without pay) for Biafra. He had confrontations with his Biafran commanders, and he was arrested and deported.
Logistics was poor, especially on the Nigerian side. After the war, the Army School of Logistics was upgraded to produce highly skilled logisticians.
Wole Soyinka (would later become a Nobel laureate) visited the Eastern Region Military Governor Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu in Enugu in August 1967 to try to avert war. The Gowon regime put him in solitary confinement for nearly two years because of this. He was released after the war.
In 1966, a plane carrying weapons allegedly ordered by Eastern Region Military Governor Lt. Col. Ojukwu crashed over the Cameroun Mountains.
General de Gaulle of France openly acknowledged ongoing support that his country had been giving Biafra.
Many Russian MIG jets of the Nigerian Government were flown by Egyptian pilots during the war.
Akanu Ibiam, Governor of Eastern Region from December 1960 to January 1966, returned his knighthood in protest against the British government's support of the Nigerian federal government during the civil war. He also changed his name from Francis Ibiam to Akanu Ibiam.

HORROR: Nurse Sets 11-Yr Old Girl Ablaze For Being Hungry

Posted by: Deolu on July 30, 2013

Doctors at the General Hospital, Gbagada, Lagos, southwest Nigeria, are seriously battling to save the life of an 11-year old girl, Ita Bassey-Eno, who was allegedly set ablaze by the woman she lives with, Mrs Nkese Iroakazi, a nurse at a hospital in Surulere.

Ita Bassey-Eno in critical condition

Iroakazi was alleged to have poured kerosene on Bassey-Eno before lighting a match stick to set her ablaze after the girl was said to have stolen a piece of meat from the pot.

Witnesses said the girl ran out of their apartment at 7, Adeniran Ogunsanya Street, Surulere, unto to the main road with fire all over her body as she cried for help from passers-by to rescue her.

It was gathered that someone quickly stopped his vehicle and used his fire extinguisher to put out the flame on her body.

The incident, which occurred last Saturday, was immediately reported at the Bode Thomas Police Station and the police from the station arrested Mrs. Nkese.

The little girl was rushed to the Burns and Trauma Centre, an annex of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital at the General Hospital, Gbagada, for urgent attention as the doctors in the hospital said she had suffered 95 percent burns and would take a miracle for her to survive.

Bassey-Eno’s private part was damaged, while almost all her body is burnt. The whole of her body, except her face and her feet, are bandaged, while she wears pampers because her private part was damaged.

On her hospital bed on Monday the little was groaning in pains while health officials described Nkese as callous woman and that she must be made to face the music.

Executive Director, Esther Child Rights Foundation, ECRF, Mrs. Esther Ogwu, who was at the hospital to see the girl, wept when she saw her pathetic state, saying that in all her life as human rights activist, she had never come across such a gruesome case as that of the little girl. According to Ogwu, the situation is terrible.

The doctor said the girl suffered 95 percent burns and that her private part has been damaged. This woman is more than wicked. Justice must take its course.

“One of the health officials at the General Hospital, Gbagada called me and said a woman poured kerosene on the little girl staying with her and lit up a match stick and set her ablaze.

The girl ran out of the house to the main road where a Good Samaritan used her car fire extinguisher to put out the fire.”

Little Bassey-Eno, who hails from Akwa Ibom State, southsouth Nigeria, was brought from the village with another girl, Happiness Okon-Bassey, 13, to live with Nkese in June 2013 on the premose that she would send them to school, but that was not to be as the two girls allegedly performed the function of domestic servants for Nkese.

The second house girl, Okon-Bassey, said she did not see when her colleague was set ablaze but that she heard her screaming when their mistress was beating her shortly before the she saw flame all over her body when she ran outside their home.

More

She alleged that they were maltreated and beaten thoroughly very often and that they had no time to rest as they work almost throughout the day for their mistress without going to school, saying that they normally eat twice daily.

Daughter of the alleged culprit, Ijeoma Akiti, 27, said she was not at home when the incident occurred and that she could not tell whether her mother poured kerosene on the little girl’s body and set her ablaze, but that she heard such story at the police station.

She said her mother was first married to her father and later remarried into the family of Iroakazi and that her mother’s husband had gone on a business trip to the eastern part of Nigeria.

At the Bode Thomas Police Station, police sources alleged that the little girl confessed that her mistress poured kerosene on her.

The police at the station said the woman would be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Panti for further investigation into the matter, but Ogwu alleged that the police were trying to shield the woman from prosecution.

In her statement at the police station, Iroakazi denied that she poured kerosene on the little girl’s body and set her ablaze.

According to her, she was in the sitting room when she heard a loud cry and rushed out only to see the girl on fire and called on people to help put out the fire.

Officials of the Lagos State Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, WAPA, were at the hospital and the police station where they spoke with the woman, but she denied the story.

WAPA officials took Okon-Bassey, the second girl with them for rehabilitation pending when she would be reconciled with her real mother.

Why We Deported 67 Citizens From Lagos State – Fashola’s Aide

Posted by: daniel on July 29, 2013

babatunde_raji_fasholaThe Lagos State Government has responded to criticisms of its alleged deportation of no fewer than 67 Nigerian citizens from the state to the Upper Iweka Bridge in Onitsha, Anambra State, saying the exercise was continuous as it started the practice of expelling beggars and destitutes rescued from the streets back to their states of origin in a bid to rid the streets of beggars and the mentally-challenged.

Speaking to The Guardian, Special Adviser to Governor Raji Fashola on Youths and Social Development, Dr. Enitan Dolapo Badru, said so far, at least 1,708 beggars and destitute had been expelled from Lagos just as he noted that normal international standard requires the state to reunite them with their families.

“The end result is to reunite them back with their families. We are not repatriating them out of Lagos, we are reuniting them with their families because once we rescue them, we cannot as a government, hold a child under the age of 18 in custody without parental or guardian’s consent. We found out that a lot of children on the streets of Lagos come from outside the state thinking that Lagos is an Eldorado. It is unfortunate that many of them are underage and very vulnerable because they can be introduced to so many vices.

“When we rescue them, we try as much as possible to carry out social investigation to know where they actually come from and why they absconded in the first place. And this takes time, because most of them don’t usually tell the truth since they don’t want to go back home. Once we have them in our custody, we must take a Court Order to keep them since the law provides for that and we cannot keep them indefinitely, so we still need to send them back to their parents. And our practice is to get in touch with the social welfare services of their respective states, which would in turn get in touch with the families,” he said.

According to Badru, in the last one year, a total number of 3,114 beggars/destitute/mentally-challenged have been rescued in day and night operations with 87 per cent (2,695) of them taken to the Rehabilitation and Training Centre, Owutu, Ikorodu, where the state government has made provisions for facilities to help in turning their lives around, while the mentally-unstable are given medical attention.

The expelled Nigerian citizens were reportedly brought to Onitsha on Wednesday at about 3.00am in four buses, escorted by anti-riot policemen; a move that has generated widespread condemnation and outrage.

Meanwhile, one of the destitute, Mr. Osondu Mbuto, from Ohaozara in Ebonyi State and a petty trader in Lagos, who said he was arrested by the Lagos State Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) officials while going to his shop on December 18, 2012, told journalists that he was detained in Ikorodu, Lagos, for over six months for alleged wandering and other minor offences.

deols: You can observe your normal, usual night prayers(tahajjud) and that would be good. But what is better is the itikaf which takes you out of your house. You can use a mosque where a large congregation prays the five daily prayer or a bigger mosque where jumuah prayers are said. The bigger the congregation, the better.

Makka is the best place for i'tikaaf. Although it is called umrah(lesser hajj).

Now my brother, I dont know your situation or where you are.I dont know exactly how to help you. If you can be prepared for i'tikaaf, the best is to start tonight until the day of eid.

But if you cannot do that, you can stay in your house, wake up in the night and pray.

Pray the 13 rakaah of tahajjud.

Say the prayer of forgiveness posted above(several times)

Say other adhkar

Recite the quran

And ask Allah for whatever you want.

May Allah make it easy for you and everyone of us. Amin.

babyosisi: converting to Islam shouldn't make news IMHO but I can understand the frustration of her parents,I will also be concerned if she were my daughter or sister
For any Christian in Nigeria that converts to Islam there are probably 200 to 300 Muslims in the same Nigeria that convert to Christianity.
What is troubling is why she should drop out of school
is Islam aversed to education?
What is she doing daily?
A young girl like her should be in school even if she decides to worship amadioha in place of the faith of her fathers

Haven said that, switch it around,if this was the daughter of an Imam held hostage in Owerri by the traditional ruler for converting to Christianity and dropping out of school, muslims would have been slaughtering Christians up north by now.
I hope the Muslim killers will learn from that example.
Hopefully her eyes go clear soon and she will at least go back to school or else we would end up with another ignorant, half educated, unemployable Muslim woman that will populate Nigeria with more Almajiri kids.

A self-confessed member of Islamist sect Boko Haram has been arrested by the police at Ifo in Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State, throwing residents into fear of an impending attack.

Confirming the arrest in a statement, Police Public Relations Officer, Ogun State Police Command, Muyiwa Adejobi, said, yesterday, that a 22-year-old self-confessed member of Boko Haram sect, identified as Giraima Umaru was arrested at Ishari Kara cattle market in Ifo Local Government Area of the state.

Adejobi attributed the arrest of Umaru, from Bulunkutu Kasuwa in Maiduguri to robust intelligence gathering of the command.

“The suspect, who confessed to have fled Maiduguri due to aggressive man-hunt by security operatives, was picked up by police operatives in Ogun State on a tip-off.

“Umaru has confessed to the police to have participated in the killing of many innocent Nigerians before the declaration of the state of emergency in three states including Borno.

“The command appreciates the good people of the state for their collaboration and sharing of information that made the police to be proactive in preventing crimes and criminality in the state.

“Commissioner of police, CP Ikemefuna Okoye has, therefore, reassured the general public of adequate protection of lives and property and confidentiality of any information given to the police,” the statement said.

Kailash Singh, 65 has not bathed neither has he cut his 6ft-long dreadlock for 37 years, thats since 1974, shortly after he got married.

He claimed a priest guaranteed him a much-prized son and heir if he did not have his bath and thats the reason for his unconventional decision.

His religious guidance clearly failed him as he has seven daughters and would be lucky to persuade his wife to have any more children.

Mr Singh spends his days tending cows in 47C heat, yet the only ‘cleansing’ he does allow himself is a fire bath each evening, which involves smoking marijuana, praying to the Hindu Lord Shiva and dancing around a bonfire.

His long-suffering family admit they did once tried to force him into a stream.”He fought us off and ran away,” said wife Kalavati Devi, 60.

“We’ve tried several times since to force him to have a shower but he puts up such a fuss. He says he’d rather die than take a bath and only a son could change his mind.

He admits neighbours in the rural village of Chatav make fun of him but said he is following god’s will.

“Children tease and shout that I don’t wash when I ride my bicycle through the village,’ he said. There are many people who have a poor character that mock me for not washing. They do not understand my decision but I will not change my mind as it is god’s choice, not mine,” he said.

A gang of robbers said to be terrorizing the people of Osun State and other neighbouring states have been arrested by the police command of the state.

According to her, items including automatic pistols, cutlasses, axes and charms were recovered from the suspects, including items stolen; Blackberry phones and Nokia phones.

Gimba said the suspected armed robbers had operated in Osogbo, Ile-Ife, Ilesa and other major towns in the state, stressing that the Police were able to arrest them as a result of their unrelenting efforts at ensuring a secured state.

The six suspects, according to Gimba will soon be charged to court.
