on the Rooney/wing issue ,Rooney rarely played on d wing in his entire united career ,his first two seasons he played as an ss behind van nilsteroy n saha ,so I don't know where u got dat idea from

time he has played in the middle in his Man
United career. And even England. Last match he
did well everytime he went to the wing, and he
even gave a cross from an almost impossible
angle/situation.

Rooney's first two seasons were basically from
the wings. In other seasons he got plenty games
in the wings too.
For England, he had always been in the wing
mostly.
