Those runs are precisely why LvG bought him. They are not idiotic. They are supposed to provide a spark and change of pace to LvG's passing possession style. It didn't work out that well but its just such a shame to give up on it after one season.

No he was bought for his pace not chicken runs ,he is accustomed to d "push d ball n run after it" type of football so he will naturally struggle in adapting to d possession type of football. LVG said last season dat he is a good player who will blossom in d team if he put his head down n adapt to d team's philosophy but I don't think he's ready to do dat ,maybe because of his ego(which LVG hates). All this south American players r like that. When we went for him we all knew dat he was an inconsistent player hence his struggles but to bounce out like this after promising to hv a better season with d team dents his image as a player. I wish him success though.

Reports just coming in suggests that man united has accepted PSG's bid for Argentine winger ,Angel Di maria. Di Maria was given permission to speak to PSG officials after last season as he seeks to move to Paris after an underwhelming season in England. The winger failed to adapt to the EPL n thus attracted the interest of PSG who could hv signed him last season. United loses £13m for the initial cash spent on his purchase from Madrid last season n r expected to invest some of d cash on Barcelona's Pedro.

We havent seen much movement from City, PSG, Chelsea and Madrid in the market these are traditional big spenders

I feel Madrid would still make a big move, Barca won a treble and still bought, if Madrid dont buy another trophyless season is almost guaranteed

PSG with the lifting/relaxing of FFP I think PSG would splurge too. they are actually very light in personel unless I am missing someone these are all the players PSG has Attack: Cavani, Ibra, Moura, Pastore, Lavezzi, Bahebeck Mids: Motta, Verrati, Matuidi, Rabiot, Stambouli.

I think they would need major buys

Chelsea: Even though Mourinho says otherwise, Chelsea needs 2 major buys to stay competitive in Europe (Semi finals and above) which would be their next target. Depending on Hazard alone to carry all the creativity sounds like an experiment bound to fail. I expect Chelsea to make at least one 40m plus signing

City: With their squad no one would bet against City getting more bodies in their team, Last season their defence looks wack, Midfield looks uninspired . I see Dzeko and Jovetic moving away and some ppl coming in. WIth Sterling signing, Maybe Navas or Nasri would move too
