My observations from the match ...


- Rooney was sh1t today ...but he didn't receive anything from the midfield ,we still need a striker cos Wazza cannot get us 20 goals (or maybe he can)

- LVG is still experimenting ... He said we will start with the 4-3-3 formation this season n yet we hv never seen it.

- Players should be played in their respective positions... Memphis was pretty useless today cos he was used infield instead of the wings while mata kept drifting in from the right as he still sucks as a winger

- LVG needs to start making the right subs this season ... Removing darmian for Valencia who nearly cost us a goal is a bad move.

- We tasted our own medicine today ... Tottenham gave us a dose of our own medicine ,the slow buildup play ,the possession hugging n the counter pressing when the ball is lost. We almost expect everyone we play against to get men behind the ball n counter but it wasn't the case today.

- This is the first match of the season so... We got lucky today but this is just the first match of the season n players r still feeling their way into the team so there shouldn't be too much criticism.

- We need three more signings... Judging from this game ,we need three more signings if we r going to challenge for any trophy this year. A physical defender , a goalkeeper (if DDG leaves) and an attacking midfielder (preferably Pedro or Grieazman)

I will never forget Rafael's strikes against Liverpool n QPR but sadly his career was marred by injuries n fitness concerns. And then came Aloysius ,d no nonsense n somewhat hot headed fellow who was handed d cleanup task n swung into action immediately, catching the most of the core united players in his dust n within 2 years ,about 18 players hv exited the door with the strict n eccentric sword wielder having none of it, he plans to build his own team in his own likeness n b4 we realize what is going on ,a new team will step out on the play field.
