@ogarj, y do u want to choose fishery or urban planning in d first place nd where do u wnt 2 c urself in d next 10years. Bt 2 me i wil advice u 2 choose urban planning over fisheries nt because am a urban planning under-graduate in a uni but because u can easily branch 2 fisheries irrespective of ur career. My frnd learn hw 2 rear fish in a spate of 6months. The only advantage of fishes ova town planning is dat u can be easily b self employ. Bt while waste 4years to study wat u can learn within a year or so.
NOTE- Dat is my own personal opinion.

There is no much diff btw town planners and urban designer. Thou urban design is a distinct profession but unlike architecture & planning it does nt ve any academic programe on it own. Urban design is presently been practice by both town planners and architect.

This is a job welldone. But i could like to know about the town planning profession because am a student of town planning.

hello pple in d house, dis is my 1st post in dis forum and am here 2 solicit ur advice on my educational advancement.
I was just offered admisn 2 FUTA 2 study URBAN AND REGIONAL PLANNING instead of ARCHITECTURE which i initially entered 4 in JAMB!
And i will kindly need ur advice esp. 4rm professionals nd academicians in d built profession as 2 wat urban & regional planning is all abt: career prospect nd advancement,job nd their essence or usefulness 2 our society(nigeria in particular) nd also employment opportunities open 2 graduates of d course. Also can a graduate of urban & regional planning pursue his/her masters or post graduate diploma in architecture so as 2 b eligible 4 registratn with d nigeria institute of architect. Lest i 4get, esp. 2 architect in d house, i saw in d urban & regional planning law of nigeria dat architect nd town planner<as urban & regional planning graduate are called> has d exclusive right 2 draw building plan. Pls, hw true is dis?
