Chat me up on 08101092213. I am a freelance research writer. |
ESSOHEngineers:Alright. Many thanks. |
ESSOHEngineers:Dear EssoHEngineers, I understand the question was not directed to me. However, if you need more hands in your organization, I am well equipped to fit in. I hold a Bachelor degree in Urban and Regional Planning and during my undergraduate study, I took several courses in EIA. Also, I am presently a freelance writer and I had written numerous reports, research and essays on topics ranging from business, IT, Engineering, EIA among others. If you don't mind, I can send my previous projects/papers to you. Presently, I am an intern with the Ogun State Urban and Regional Planning Board, the agency charged with regulating building developments within the state and also ensure that all proposed developments adhere and conform with the state environmental planning law. As such, I understand the intricacies and requirement neccessary to write an EIA reports that will meet the requirements/specifications of the relevant regulatory agencies. You can reach me through johnbabatunde1994@gmail.com or 08101092213 Many thanks! |

Hey guys, I had submitted my application but can I still change my course? I understand I will need to pay additional 1k, is that option still available? |
@Chibeze, I didn't fill my work details before I click the submit tab. Hope no issue about that? |
kay4guy:me too. I need pgd Surveying and geoinformatics past question spaceform02@gmail.com |
Chibexe:Many thanks for the prompt response. Since Urban and Regional Planning fall under the purview of Environmental Sciences, that shows I am qualified for the program. The fee of N90k exclude the acceptance fee right? Is the program one session too? |
@chibeze Do Unilag requires submission of O'level for their Postgraduate admission? This is because I used two sittings to gained admission for my UG degree while Unilag requres only one sitting. |
Great thread here. @Op, continue the great work. Well, I have a Bachelor degree in Urban and Regional Planning, and I intend applying for PGD in Surveying and Geoinformatics. What are my chances, I mean regarding my eligibility for the program. Likewise, the PGD Surveying and Geoinformatics programme is how many session/year? And the fee too? Many thanks for your prompt response. |
@Kindhearted, I believe the volume of response received here is enough to choose from. This may sound at little bit selfish, but I am sorry if I hit the wrong cord. Your freelance job, is it a writing gig? I will be interested in relieving you ma. |
Alabaintprice:Sir, I understand your drift. But the issue is how do I learn the trade? And if I am to intern with anyone already in the business, is 2-3 months enough to know the rope of the business. You also mentioned meeting the manufacturers physically. I thought phone accessories are produced in China, how do I meet them physically in far away China, remember we are dealing with just N300k. Also, I understand you are already in the business, are you open to tutoring someone sir? |
Kindly add me to the whatsapp group. 08101092213 |

The Master Card Scholarship Award is an annual competition organized for graduates in sub-Saharan African Countries by Master Card International and winners undertake their Master’s Degree programme at a designated foreign university. This year out of the 20 slots allotted to Africa, Nigeria won 12 out of which 10 of the slots were taken by FUTA students via a competitive assessment carried out by the organisers. The Ten FUTA alumni will proceed to the University of British Columbia (U.B.C.), Canada for their master’s programme. An elated Vice-Chancellor, Professor Joseph Adeola Fuwape, while receiving the alumni described them as pride to the University. The Vice Chancellor commended the students saying that their success proved that FUTA has attained an enviable height academically. He said the Scholarship Programme will open more doors of opportunity if they remain focused. Professor Fuwape charged the students to keep the FUTA Flag Flying and be worthy ambassadors of the institution and be determined to distinguish themselves as world class citizens. Parrotpal:@agabusta. Kindly react to the above sir. |
@ OmaniPadmeHum Thank you sir. I now understand better. |
micxwell:Thank you sir. What is the requirements for joining ISPON either as an associate or full member after their HSE 3 certification? Any writing or oral exam(s), professional pupilage, report submissions etc., not forgetting the cost too. From the ISPON website, I noticed they focus more on 'health' and 'safety' ignoring 'environment' because they repeatedly refer to themselves as health and safety professionals. Is it that they do not have locus standi in the environmental specialty. Though, they listed Environmental management auditing and Environmental Impact Assessment as one of their core area of competence. Have, you heard about Nigeria Environmental Society? What is their relationship with HSE? Many thanks! |
OmaniPadmeHum:Thank you sir for the detailed response. However, I will prefer the Environmental specialty considering by educational background. I went through the previous pages of this thread, and I understand that NEBOSH focuses mainly on the 'health' specialty I. e Occupational health, that only IEMA another certification is good for those who prefer the environmental side of HSE. What is your take? IEMA popularity, visibility, recognition etc. Hope it is well know by HSE recruiting firms or agency. Because I will prefer the IEMA route after the ISPON HSE 3, or is there any NEBOSH certification that focuses on the environmental specialty? |
Nice thread here! Please keep up the good work. However, what advice can you give a fresh Urban and Regional Planning graduate awaiting service on the best HSE career part to follow. Though, while in school, I was opportuned to undergo few courses in Disaster Risk management, Environmental Impact assessment and Geographical Information Science, which all fall under the sphere of Environmental management. My undergraduate thesis also centered on Environmental Health. Also, I stumbled on Novelle site. I got to know that they offers HSE 1, 2, 3 certification courses approved by UK SHE. Based on one of the expert here insistence on joining ISPON/NISP first before going further in HSE career, I wanna ask, is the certificate issued by UK SHE on HSE 1, 2, 3 equivalent to one issued by ISPON and is it recongnise by ISPON (will it be considered when one want to join ISPON in any of their membership cadre). Personally, I prefer HSE courses toward obtaining UK SHE flouted by Novelle because the course structure is more organised, well structured, globally recognised and a little bit cheap too (it is around $150). Your advise and reaction pls! Best regards! |

This is an interesting and educative pieces from Babalawo. I dream everyday even during afternoon nap, but the issue is that I cant remember any of the dream immediately I woke up, no matter how much I try to remember. The issue do bother me sometimes, but since I can do anything about it, I try to take it outta my mind. @Babalawo, is their any explanation for that? Best regards! |
Until you mention Beere, Foko, Gege, Idi-arere all in Ibadan, the list neva complete |
Good!! Lagos has a more efficient and robust town planning service, at least it is second only to fct-abuja. Do visit the nearest district planning office. |
location? You can contact the nearest town planning office to complain. You have a good case because the property in question is meant for residential purpose, that is even if the 'subject property' have a building plan approval. But you yourself might not last in that house because your landlord will also be affected, whatever the planning office decision. Your landlord have already contravene the statutory planning law by leasing a property meant for residential uses for public uses. The said church will be ask to vacate the property else the 'whole' property might be seal. Pls complain, dont suffer in silent. Gracias. |
