Ridiculous! isn't it?

A Christian university that claimed to be a non-profit organisation. Anyway I blame it on the people that patronize them. There are Federal universities, state universities and even some private universities all over the country that are less expensive, but they chose this one.

How many accountants are paid more than N200,000 per month in this country? After paying 1million plus for a session in the university, you come out to be paid peanuts as salary, that's if you get a job.

In that case i guess the accused remains innocent until proven guilty. The onus is on the president to bring the suspected criminals to justice. The inability to do that shows gross incompetence or culpability. Am not a fan of tinubu but bleh....for me its all about choosing the lesser evil at the pols. The West-the most developed group that got socialized along both religion practices. Here is where you find families with mixtures of Christians and Muslims collaborating, interacting and existing without much issues bothering on their religion differences.

ziccoit: Most of the anti-Islam crusaders in Nigeria are found among a group who are in the Eastern part of the South. This is a problem cause by lack of cultural integration and socialization. Most of them first seen a Muslim in youth corper posted to their village. As a Muslim I grew up with Christian neighbours and still have them among my top best friends. You can see now there is going to be a more mutual respect among the Muslims and Christians in the West where none is expected to exist in the East due to poor or lack of socialization.

A teenage rapist who stalked schoolgirls in uniform from bus stops is facing a life sentence today for attacking an 11-year-old girl.

Opemipo Jaji, 18, was under a supervision order for having child porn and had just finished an appointment with the Probation Service when he followed the victim as she took a bus home from school.

Jaji stalked the girl who repeatedly crossed the road to try and avoid him before she broke into a run in an attempt to get away.  He then dragged her into a park where she underwent a horrifying three-hour ordeal.

Jaji, from Edmonton, north London, had sexually assaulted a 12-year-old two years ago and when police searched his home they found newspaper clippings about April Jones, the five year-old killed in Wales.

An inquiry was today launched today following the conviction.

A Probation Service spokesman said: 'Our deepest sympathies are with the victim and their family following this horrific crime.

'A multi-agency public protection arrangement (Mappa) serious case review into what happened in this case has been launched.'

The apprentice chef was unanimously convicted at the Old Bailey of raping the 11-year-old after the brave youngster gave evidence against him.

he judge, Mr Justice Singh, will now consider jailing him indefinitely to protect the public.

He showed no trace of emotion as the verdict was announced.

His latest victim was on a bus on November 23, last year, when she was singled out by Jaji. He had been to a meeting with his probation officer just 90 minutes before the attack.

'She got on the bus with her friend and they giggled and chatted until their last stop,' said prosecutor Rosina Cottage QC.

Also on the bus was a young male, this defendant. He watched her get off the bus. He followed her.

'He dragged her to a local park in the dark and repeatedly raped her. Her ordeal lasted two to three hours and he kept making fists and cracking his knuckles.'

During the sex assaults, Jaji told her: 'Stop moving or I will stab you.'

Ms Cottage said he threatened he would film the attack and send it to her family and friends.

She said: 'He brutally terrified and raped her.'

During the attack Jaji told the victim: 'I'm this close to killing you.'

'Despite his age he is a deliberate and manipulative sexual predator,' Miss Cottage added.

His victim bravely told detectives Jaji had told her: 'I don't want to do this, but I have to' as he frogmarched the terrified youngster into the park.

Jaji then demanded she hand over her phone and she told police: 'He said one of the reasons he wanted to do it, attack me, have sex, was because I did not have anything else, like my phone.'

Eventually he said he would let her go but if she told anyone, he would find out and stab her. As she dressed quickly he hissed 'if I was you I would run'.

She later calmly gave detectives an accurate description her attacker who was African with an Afro hairstyle under a bandana who 'stunk like garbage' and spoke with a 'London Edmonton chavvy' accent.

CCTV footage captured him sat at the back of a bus watching the girl as she giggled and chatted with a schoolfriend. As the girl got up to leave Jaji is seen to suddenly get up and follow.

The girl's friend is then seen to wave goodbye as the bus pulled away and that was the last sighting of the youngster until she turned up at home after the attack.

Meanwhile CCTV captured Jaji walking casually with his white Adidas bag slung over his shoulder and hair in a bandana to a youth club until it closed at 9.30pm.

Staff said he smelt and he said his clothes were dirty because he had fallen into a puddle.

Jaji cut his hair when newspapers reported the rape three days later, but that day a PCSO spotted his image circulated by detectives and he was arrested. He has since grown his Afro back.

He said he had been in the park to compose music in his 'favourite spot', where the girl had been raped, and that was why her blood was all over his clothes.


In his bedroom police found an open book, called 'Nobody Cares', about a little girl being sexually abused and cuttings about the April Jones case.

On his bed there were also circled newspaper adverts for apprenticeships in child care.

In September 2011 Jaji admitted the sexual assault and robbery of a 12 year old girl. She was also in her school uniform when he followed her from a bus in Edmonton. He put his hand across her mouth warning: 'Don't scream, I've got a knife.'

Jaji took her to a housing estate and took her phone. He made her stuff her school tie in her mouth and forced her to strip naked.

The assault that followed continued even after he was disturbed by a passer by.

Jaji received a ten-month detention and training order - the juvenile equivalent of a prison term - for his previous sex assault in September 2011.

He was fined £15 the following April for failing to comply with the order following his early release on licence.

In his defence, Jaji explained the robbery and sexual attack on the 12-year-old 'was just childhood stupidity' and said since then he's been forced to grow up and accounted for every single second of his day to stay out of trouble.

He was training to be a chef the De Vere Academy of Hospitality in Greenwich, south east London, and claimed he was such a fine singer and guitarist he had been invited to appear on 'The Voice.'

In the latest case, Jaji denied rape, saying: 'I'm not capable of doing something as despicable and heartless as this.'

Ms Cottage accused him of wanting the trial so he could watch the girl recount her ordeal for his own sexual gratification.

The jury had not been allowed to know that just six months before the attack, Nigerian-born Jaji had downloaded child porn exclusively featuring young white girls for which he had been handed an 18 month supervision order. The order required him to be supervised by the probation service and carry out 50 hours’ unpaid work.

Mr Justice Singh also directed they should not be told of his 'sexual interest in very young white girls' nor the race of the girl he attacked 21 months earlier.

Jaji will be sentenced on June 7 after psychiatric and probation reports are prepared.

In addition to a jail term he is expected to be banned from communicating with young girls and using the internet.

He will also be required to sign the sex offenders register for life.

The judge, Mr Justice Singh, said: 'All options in law will be considered. Life imprisonment is the sentence available to the court as a matter of law.'

Jaji, who was remanded in custody, scowled and thrust his hands into his pockets as he was led away to the cells.

Detective Chief Inspector Adam Lowe, of the Met's Sapphire sex crime unit, said: 'Jaji posed a great danger to young girls and despite the great weight of evidence against him, refused to accept his guilt and forced the victim to give evidence in court.

'This was a particularly brutal but unusual attack on an innocent 11-year-old schoolgirl who will no doubt continue to suffer the emotional scars of what happened to her for a very long time.

'I would like to take this opportunity to praise the bravery of the victim and her family.

'I would also like to commend the excellent work of the community officer who identified Jaji from CCTV and the Sapphire investigators for their hard work, diligence and professionalism.'

Outside the court, Sarah Maclaren, CPS London’s head of rape and serious offences, paid tribute to the ‘strength and courage’ of the victim’s family for supporting the prosecution.

She said: ‘A dangerous sexual offender has been brought to justice. This was a horrific and vicious attack on a young victim, lasting almost three hours.

‘It was a protracted and terrifying ordeal. She tried to get away on several occasions but was pulled back by Jaji who threatened to stab her.
