Cousin9999: Lol you're funny. Do you think you can turn up at a car park and start selling your goods without a permit. She was told she was trespassing, and ordered to leave, but she said she will leave when she wants ie within the hour. Then she was arrested for trespassing and she resisted arrest. There's no case here. She is in the wrong 1 Like |
Health / Nigerian Researchers Predicted The Current Monkeypox Outbreak Back In 2017 (pic) by passion007: 9:20pm On May 25, 2022 |
I know we don't celebrate our researchers as they are often shut down by conspiracy theorists who think they know better, but let me share this. I attended a Europe wide summit on the recent monkeypox outbreak, and was pleased to find that as far back as 2017, a team of Nigerian researchers from the University Teaching Hospital, Bayelsa State, Nigeria namely: Dimie Ogoina, James Hendris Izibewule, Adesola Ogunleye, Ebi Ederiane, Uchenna Anebonam, Aworabhi Neni, Chikwe Ihekweazu These eminent persons hypothesised that during the monkeypox outbreak of 2017 (Yes, Nigeria recorded the largest monkeypox outbreak in 2017), that Sexual transmission was a plausible mode of transmission. Their observation gives early insight into understanding the new epidemic in Europe where Sexual transmission is thought to be the primary mode of spread. International bodies including IUSTI and BASHH gave special mention to these men and thanked them for their groundbreaking research. I hope these men continue to feed the world of science with their noble research in order to help humanity overcome yet another looming epidemic. @dominique @Sissy3, would you agree these men are an embodiment of the Nigerian spirit: determination in the face of adversity. 1 Like

obinnajohnson: Can you mention one country in this world that trusts the other. You don't have to trust them. Our leaders just need to capitalise on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take over the very lucrative European Market. But we already know our leaders can't be asked to put on their thinking caps 2 Likes 1 Share |

We are so easy to impress. So now that you've cleaned it up, where will the waste generated over the next 2 months go? Or its just going to reaccumulate. Enugu runs an efficient waste collection system, and even our Innoson produces waste disposal trucks for them. Soludo needs to understudy the system in Enugu and apply it here. |

Kidney failure is real. The solution to kidney failure is not prayers and seeking for a destiny helper. The solution is avoiding all these funny herbal/alcoholic concoctions |

nurain150: Good lord ha You don't trust the doctors, scientists, researchers with hands on experience studying coronavirus in the laboratory. But you trust some random datasets 'from America', transmitted to Nigeria and interpreted by statisticians! You can't make this up |

godofuck231: At least people were scared shi.tless of Ebola. Nobody doubted of Ebola is real or not. Everybody ran into their homes and took extreme precaution. But with covid, because younger people have mild symptoms, they're pushing this narrative that covid is a scam, while older people are paying the price for the misinformation 1 Like |

tnerro1: Because everybody understands that the covid vaccine, like any other vaccine, isn't 100% effective at preventing covid. No one has ever claimed that it is, not even the manufacturers. It is however more than 99% effective at preventing death or severe disease requiring ICU care |
