WorldRichest: Why did Kemi BADenoch meet her? Kemi hates blacks, Asians, in short, Kemi hates anyone that is not European, so why did she meet with the nurse? Your logic is backwards sha. If you think somebody hates black people but then you see her meet with a black woman, a normal person would think 'may be I'm wrong and Kemi doesn't actually hate black people' but instead you are thinking 'I know for a fact Kemi hates black people but I cannot explain why she met a black lady, so this doesn't make sense'. You'll rather accept the situation as unexplainable than challenge your own beliefs. |
Travel › Re: UK Embassy Has Seized My Passport! by passion007: 4:04am On Apr 20 |
Unfortunately, no embassy can safekeep your passport forever. All passports are properties of Nigerian Immigration Service after all, and they've rightfully returned your unclaimed passport to the right authority. Go to NIS and sort it out, this is your mistake, nobody else's, so also take some responsibility for leaving your passport uncollected for 4 months, and even declining to arrange courier collection. |

laivwire: I never mentioned 100%. 2% of his subscriber base is an achievable number if he is well positioned. The $1 is usually more of support than subscription fees or access to bts footage or early access content. Now he replicates on Tiktok, Instagram and maybe Facebook. Yes it is very much attainable. Content creators make 70k off tiktok alone. So you'll donate 1500 every month to a content creator. We need evidence, which content creator do you currently donate money to every month? Talk is cheap. Human behaviour will humble you. 😆 |
Celebrities › Re: Broda Shaggi Reveals He Earns Up To $70,000 Monthly From Youtube by passion007: 12:25am On Apr 19 |
laivwire: I don't think so. Even if he doesn't get paid by YouTube but just asks 2% of his 2m subscribers to subscribe at $1 a month to support his channel. He will net over that amount monthly. Brand adverts and content creator payment separate, these guys make bank You're funny. Who is going to subscribe $1 a month ? First, ask yourself, will you subscribe 100 naira a month to watch anybody's comedy in Nigeria, let alone N1500. YouTube premium is $10 a month and less than 5% of subscribers pay it, yet you think 100% will pay to watch a comedy skit lol. |

michlins: I'm sorry if you interpret what I said as you being careless. That's wrong. I'm just pointing out a leading cause of child mortality. You employed a nanny to help you with your child, that's not a sign of carelessness but you going extra miles for your own kids.
Good luck to you I appreciate the clarification, thank you. |
Health › Re: Drugging An Infant by passion007(op): 4:59am On Feb 23 |
michlins: Arrest her and move on with your life. The only reason the nanny did that is to induce the baby to sleep so she can have a time of her own.
But I don't understand how you people leave the care of your infants to strangers especially at such tender age when they can barely do anything on their own.
If you're career focused, leave parenting until the time you can be there for your child. Parenting is a full time job and most infant deaths are as a result of carelessness of the parents If you know me, you'll know the nanny's involvement with my baby is minimal, and this is only her first month, which is why the whole thing is shocking. I take on your advice in good faith and thank you but i reject the suggestion that I'm careless. |
Health › Re: Drugging An Infant by passion007(op): 3:43am On Feb 23 |
budaatum: You are of course asking us after you've already sacked the nanny who was poisoning your 5 month old baby only once.
Right? Not yet, but inevitably of course. I'm keeping her for the next 48 hours while my baby is being observed and monitored. In case anything untoward happens, will have to involve the police. |
Health › Drugging An Infant by passion007(op): 2:48am On Feb 23 |
I'm so upset and want some advice.
I caught my nanny mixing cough syrup into my baby's milk. My baby is only 5 month's and I've only had a nanny for 1 month. Baby seems fine and I'm still monitoring. Nanny claims it's the first time but of course she will lie about it. The cough syrup bottle is already less than half.
Please advise what to do. I'm so angry I can't think straight

Absolutely no one would pay $13, 000 for an Abuja to Heathrow flight. Even British Airways charges less than $1200. Ethiopian airlines is less than $1000. I sense you're just desperate to give Tinubu some encomiums but this one is layered in ridiculousness. |

MT: You are not in a position to validate the data integrity.
You don't know the source, you don't know the methodology, you don't even know the margin of error. Oh please! This is a summary report, not a publication! Mighty bold of you to expect a summary review to give you methodology data and even margin of error, get real bro! The source data is clearly highlighted. Do your research. Other studies put Nigeria's homeless population at 13%, so this report is most likely an underestimation after all. |

People who think Nigeria's stats are exaggeratedare actually misguided.
When you get into Lagos at night, you will appreciate how many people are homeless. Loads of people just laid outside, with only a loose sheet to cover them. Then you think of the beggars and all those who live under all the Lagos bridges. The homeless population in Lagos is no less than 1 million.
Kano is even in a worse situation than Lagos as homelessness in Kano affects predominantly children under 18 years. The homeless population will be no less than 1.5 million.
The other states are less affected but cumulatively, our total homeless population is definitely in excesss of 4.5M |

Nnamdipapa: Ok, today I was out to do an oil change and decided to branch by my favorite Afghani store where I usually buy provisions when in the vicinity. Now, I came across an organic crate of egg for $16.99, 30 medium sized eggs in a crate. Now, I remembered I spoke with a friend in Lagos last week who priced a similar crate of egg at 6000Naira, Yes ! you heard me right! 6000Naira! Folks in Nigeria do not know how good they have it Living in Nigeria so next time you complain about Nigeria, remember a fresh organic crate of egg goes for N6000 and things are way cheaper in Nigeria compared to the western countries.
So, there is something that should make one happy living in Nigeria I am waiting on pins and needles for the minimum wage crew. This is how we know those who are less than 1 year abroad... earning in dollars and thinking in naira |
