People fear what they do not understand. But look more into the technology that created covid vaccines and you'll get over your fears. Also, just the thought that you would even consider giving part of your liver to anyone at all is gratifying! Many people who hold similar views as you would refuse to even consider a transplant fearing it would make them have incomplete organs in their next life So, it would appear you're leaps and bounds ahead of other antivaxxers - well done! |

TMKsouth: I'm referring to the Nigerian white butt kissing phenomenon. People are criticising SA left, right and centre on this thread with very little info of the drastic measures the country has taken to fight covid.
Definitely getting more criticism than the UK and India got, even though India had a very lax attitude to covid before delta. Ah right. I saw your prior posts and agree completely with them. SA is clearly leading covid research in Africa, while our Nigerian armchair 'scientists' scour the Internet for one conspiracy theory after the other. |

TMKsouth: They didn't say a word when UK and India unleashed their deadly mutations on the world (alpha and delta). But because it's now a black country... Has nothing to do with black country or not. This is a public health crisis. America banned flights from UK and Europe until fairly recently. UK banned flights from India at the peak of the delta variant crisis. UK and Europe now banning Southern African countries is the right thing to do in the interest of public health, and if Nigeria was any wiser, we would be doing the same. |

Godszilla: No vaccine is 100% we all agree but this thing is not really a vaccine. I believe they went with calling it a vaccine as that is what most are comfortable and relate with. The thing doesnt contain the covid pathogen that should stimulate your natural defense mechanism matter of fact its bypassing it and acting to reduce its severity. which i thought was bad before the advent of these "vaccine",the so called asymtomatic individuals where derided way back then but now that the vaccine basically makes you asymptomatic its ok. so you can carry the virus and spread as vaccinated and it ok. but its not ok anyway, thats why they are still asking you to mask up and social distance after taking the "vaccine". Why is natural immunity under attacked and never get a sniff? This thing is not vaccine but gene editing therapy https://guardian.ng/opinion/what-to-know-about-the-covid-19-vaccine/ So, you don't believe what scientists say, but you believe what MC Asuzu writes for an opinion blog! I bet MC Asuzu has never seen the inside of a laboratory, let alone the structure of the covid virus. Just because you don't understand mRNA technology doesn't mean you can equate it to the nearest thing you know, in your case being gene editing. Your claims are made up and fall flatly in the face of facts. Do you know how many years mRNA technology has been used to try to find a cure for HIV? The technology was already perfected in HIV research, but didn't work for HIV, however it incidentally worked for coronavirus. But people who don't understand how research works just resort to conspiracies |

descartes400: We are talking about the Covid 19 vaccine here which was hurriedly developed within the pace of 1 year as against the standard scientific process that takes several years to come up with an effective vaccine.
It was never established by any scientist that the covid 19 will prevent severe diseases... The covid 19 vaccine is way abysmally less effective in preventing covid 19 and tends to acerbate underlying illness and instigate irreversible health issues! Young and older people who were rather healthy are developing heart related issues, some having heart attacks, some developing stroke and paralysis ...more so, it has been said by doctors that younger people who took the vaccine are more subject or susceptible to heart related issues in the future and you tell me the vaccine is handsomely safe? I don't indulge in beer parlour gossip. Just google the multitude of research publications on covid vaccine efficacy and cure yourself of your ignorance

descartes400: As of this morning, Bryan Adams the Canadian musician, who is fully vaccinated has been diagnosed with covid 19 infection for the second time in a month oo! that's some one who's been fully a vaxxer ooh! So? Which vaccine ever claimed to be 100% effective? From the very beginning, it was established that the vaccine will prevent severe disease especially among those vulnerable. No scientist ever said that once you're vaccinated, you'll never get covid. God knows where you read that from. |

descartes400: But those one or two vaccines as you put it were not injected into our bodies as experimental vaccines which the covid 19 vaccine is and was developed within the pace of one year as against the standard scientific process for vaccines development.
From my perspective, covid 19 vaccine tends to make those who have taken it twice more susceptible to convid19 infection and re-infection. Do you have any peer reviewed publications to support your claims? Any systematic review evidence or observational studies? Or, let's accept even the lowest scientific evidence ie expert opinion? Or is this something you heard from your friends at the palm wine tappers general meeting? |

babyfaceafrica: So values should be relaxed because of the times we are in. Lolz Short answer is yes. Firstly UNN is not a religious institution, so who defines what is considered good or bad, and based on whose religion? Secondly, the world has moved on very quickly since the institution was set up in 1963. Our culture has undergone a paradigm shift, and I don't think we can continue to hold people, especially women, to our older ideals of good behaviour. It is paternalistic at the very least. Thirdly, body revealing costumes, dances, cultures are now part of popular culture in today's world. They did not exist in 1963, so it is important to interpret the supposed infraction in the light of what is common today. But this is only my opinion, you're welcome to disagree as I'm not enforcing it on anyone. |

WoundedLamb: Panel for what exactly? She could be wrong on moral grounds, but how is that the school's business? Do they really want to start punishing adults for indecent activities? It wouldn't be the first time UNN expelled students for improper conduct in their personal lives. While in my first year, they used to emphasise that you had to be 'worthy in character and in learning' in order to graduate. Notice that character is even mentioned first. Not that I agree with that philosophy as I think it should change to reflect the times we are in. |

I wonder how a man with a deek that vibrates and reacts to sensations will choose a fellow man's black and strong yansh over a woman's soft and fleshy body.
The sensation you get when your long black rod is parting the red sea and dividing the walls of the kpekus into a missionary journey is second to none. You feel it in your brain when the walls of the kpekus tightly grips your deek while releasing some slimy and wet fluids to lubricate the friction.
Yet, some GAYbriels will choose their fellow man who has nothing to offer. Stop wondering. Try it first, then come back and give us a balanced report |

Enugudirty: Stop posting nonsense. If you claim that Enugu has oll, then go and start developing it let's see. If you have one spoon of oil, no investor can come there.
Anambra has commercial quantity of oil and gas with over 15 wells. Today there's Sterling oil from India producing/mining oil at Ogbaru area of Anambra while Orient is at Otuocha areas of Anambra also mining.
You cannot get oil status without investment in the production. In a nutshell, Enugu doesn't have oil. I've no idea why you're pulling out your hair over my comment. Yes, you can get oil status without investment in production in Nigerian law. There are no other prerequisites other than commercial finding of oil. Unless you're privy to a different law than the rest of us. Don't let your sentiments get in the way of reasoning |

Juliusmalema: It is high time these guys realises coal is not oil.
Since the declaration of Anambra as Oil producing state many has not gone to sleep with sound mind.
Come to think of it.
Kogi State - 29,833Kmsq Enugu State- 7,161kmsq Anambra - 4844Kmsq
All documents clearly points to one location, so Nigeria boundary commission should stop playing politics and call a spade a spade.
Enugu should stop chasing dead case because Kogi state will be excised off with time when NBC is done playing politics. Your post shows your limited knowledge of the subject. The Kogi/Enugu/Anambra border dispute has been an ongoing case for over a decade. I was part of a Boundaries Commission delegation to the area in 2008 and seismic reports confirmed commercial oil in the Anambra basin at the boundary of all 3 states, with similar amounts in Enugu and Anambra as per the current boundary delineation, however the tricky bit is Kogi claims their true boundaries lay further into Enugu and Anambra, with documents provided of similar land disputes dating back to the 1960's. The case has gone beyond just defining who has oil to redefining state boundaries, but NBC is clearly not funded as at yet to deliver this judgment truly and impartially. |

Only in Nigeria is this considered a miracle.
A miracle is an extraordinary event unexplained by natural or scientific laws.
But of course we already know this is IVF, so this is no miracle. Just thank the fertility clinic and leave a 5 star review for them so that others can go to that clinic as well. Don't be a dog in a manger; if fertility treatment works for you, don't refer others to God. Refer them to your gynaecologist! |

ExtraVioment: In this case, it seems like you are the one joking o. Their ancestral homeland you say, am telling you about Islamic criminals and terrorists, that crossed the borders and rewrote history. All because Africans were fighting amongst themselves; as usual.
All those pharoh and ancient world power Egyptians were Africans. If we were wise, we will hold them from expanding while we rebuild; then out kids and grand kids will hold them accountable for land grabbing and the destabilizing of Africans. Which ethnic group didn't fight to expand their territory? Do you have the same lofty plans for the Aros who invaded most parts of Igboland, or for the Binis who dispersed and settled outside of their ancestral lands, or for the Fulas who extended their reign over much of today's West and Central Africa. Is your grouse only against the Egyptians because you perceive they have built a thriving nation? And I am curious by your use of the collective "we" as in "we will hold them from expanding while we rebuild". Sudanese, Eritrean, Ethiopians, Somalian, Chadians, Malians, Nigériens etc all culturally identify with North Africans, so who is we? Your post unfortunately is all conspiracy theory to make yourself the victim. If not, you'll see that to this day, other people are still grabbing your land right before your eyes |
