Omawumi17: Hello 🤩 everyone... It's been a while here... I was banned some time ago and got used to staying off nairaland After vacation, I travelled to my hometown to spend the holiday season with my family.. My mom is a business woman, she sells mostly farm produce i.e they buy directly from the farm and sell at the market Two days ago, she came back from the market with this huge bunch of plantain She asked me to guess the price, and I told her that where I am coming from, you cannot get this less than 7k to 8k But she told me, she got it for 3000 and ll resell 3500 But why, I asked, she said she doesn't like placing much profit on her goods, because if she sells at a huge profit margin, the final consumer ll suffer for it Most times, her customers are from ibadan and lagos Most times, they buy at very cheap price and sell high I wish we can all emulate her goodness, the world would have been a better place to be May God bless her and put barka in her business After selling her own cheapy cheapy, hope with the money she makes she will be able to buy rice. Beans, fish, meat, eba, garri, fufu, Amala, palm oil fruits and even transportation cheapy cheapy. The woman has a good heart but circumstaces must make u to flow with the tide. |
Christianity Etc › Re: The Misconception Of Proverbs 18:22: Advice To Young Men by Passionnn: 4:46pm On Dec 22, 2024 |
Rapmoney: Many young men have delved into unfortunate marital union based on the common misconception attached to Proverbs 18:22 which states that "He who finds a wife, finds a good thing and obtains favours from the Lord".
Do not be deceived. There is no scientific, cultural, social, religious or economic evidence that once a man gets married to a woman, he begins to obtain favours. If a man begins to experience favours in his life after getting married, it clearly shows that there are some unique and profitable qualities the woman possesses. It could be that she has financial wisdom, an astute business person, a prudent and wise woman who knows how to create and sustain wealth or a supportive wife that can go out of her way to see that the family succeeds.
As a man, don't ever you think that immediately you tie the knot, favours begin to troop in through doors and windows because your wife has two large breasts and a vagina in between her legs. You have to be very intentional when getting married except you have no mental picture of the family you would like to build.
"He who finds a wife (a good, wise and prudent woman) obtains favours from the Lord". Not just any woman. If you marry the type of woman that doesn't mind using your child's WAEC fee to buy shoes, bags or asoebi, and still expecting to obtain favours from thte Lord, you will soon meet your Creator.
Let us not deceive ourselves. Marriage doesn't just bring favours because you exchanged vows and you have 'kissed the bride'. If you are a hardworking and ambitious man, favours will be obtained from the marriage if your wife is someone who has substance, prudent and sees opportunities even when they are not clear.
Happy Sunday and Merry Christmas in advance! HE WHO FINDS A WIFE HAS FOUND A GOOD THING. A WIFE IS DEFINITELY A GOOD THING IN REGARD ESPECIALLY TO THOSE WHO DESIRE TO LIVE A GODLY LIFE. HE WHO FINDS A WIFE. A WIFE. I REPEAT, A WIFE. IT DIDNT SAY A PROSTITUTE OR HARLOT OR WOMAN. IT SAYS A WIFE. WHEN A WOMAN IS READY TO FIT INTO THE DEFNITION OF WHAT A WIFE IS, AND NOT WHO A WIFE IS, THEN YOU WILL REALIZE THAT A WIFE IS INDEED A GOOD THING. YOU CAN MARRY A WOMAN BUT SHE IS NOT CAPABLE OF BEING A WIFE AND YOU ARE DECEIVING YOURSELF CALLING HER Yur wife Those are the kind of people who complain that their wife is not a good thing. Othewise aWIFE is a GOOD THING |
