sreamsense:All these ranting antics of a rabid dog only shows you all lack the capacity to improve things. You are simply portraying yourselves as mere brutish beastly killing machines What's the threat of death to a man already on the verge of death due to hunger? |

Ikaeniyan0:The manner you guys rush to thrash any post or comment on bad governance, one would imagine you are enjoying in this era. Highest they pay you is 50k monthly not even enough to buy basic provisions that could last you for a week. So shut up and join the call for good governance |
Ever since the proposed "End bad government" protest has been announced, the Tinubu government and it's paid servants have made it looked like it is a taboo to protest. It has been issuing threats and fingering opposition politicians like Peter obi as instigators. These are highly unnecessary. Protests and demonstrations are necessary part of the democratic process. In October 2020, the end SARS protest woke Buhari from his slumber. Occupy Nigeria protest in 2012 led by Tinubu prevented president Jonathan from embarking on removing petroleum subsidies. Same Tinubu removed fuel subsidies the very day he took oath of office. Nigerians in their docility gave him the benefit of the doubt. 14 months into the removal it's been a tale of unprecedented woes, pains and hunger. The government response to the threat of protest has been unpalatable to say the least. The government has not given any meaningful assurance on how to end the suffering. Rather it keeps reminding us of what happened on 20-10-20 when under instructions, military men shot and killed peaceful protesters while they were bearing the national flag. No one wishes for a protest. All we want is a responsible government which is prepared to listen to the yearning of the citizen's call. |

Ebigwei007:there is nothing to celebrate in these sort of show of shame in the name of LG elections in Nigeria states. This same rubbish happened last week in Delta state. Little wonder local govts have become moribond lately. |

helinues:Child of Perdition, why did you not go to ECOWAS court with your evidence? Since you have chosen to take sides with the oppressors, may the same fate which befell the protesters on that day be your portion and that of your descendants. |
sIfioksq:Must you even comment? Fortunately for you. You are in a forum which allows you to make comments anonymously, otherwise, even your poor hungry father will disown you if he reads this thrashy and heartless comment of yours |
It is no news that we are feeling the heat since the federal government removed fuel subsidies and floated the fx alongside other questionable hasty policies. Casting blame at the government won't help either. Consequently, we must personally plot measures for navigating these trying. Here, I'm suggesting some measures which can help us cope. Feel free to add yours if not captured in this article. 1. Get Busy An idle mind is the devil's workshop. It is obvious that for many of us, the income is grossly insufficient. Rather than wallow in self pity, Look for something extra to do. 2. Avoid wasteful spending This is no time to invest in gambling. Even the gambling firms are in need of extra income. The trap is in thinking that once one puts his money in gambling, he could make big money. Reverse is usually the case. Avoid bet and lotto shops/sites. Also, stop spending so much money on alcoholic beverages, illicit drugs 3. Live within your means and make necessary adjustments This could include getting cheaper accommodation, grounding your vehicle, reduce the number of hours the generator is run amount spent at parties and so on. 4. Maintain good healthy living One cannot afford to be carelessly sick at the moment. So avoid habits that could land you in hospital at this crucial period. Be safety conscious in all you do. While balanced diet may be currently unaffordable, you must still ensure you consume healthy food including fruits and vegetables. Exercise the body regularly. Rest when necessary. Sleep under mosquito nets to avoid malaria attacks. 5. Ask for help when necessary A closed mouth is a closed destiny, so they say. When you are overwhelmed with needs, problems and anxieties, do not be afraid or ashamed to ask for help. You may be surprised at how willing people are to give you assistance since they know it's not easy for everyone at the moment. However, don't act without dignity. Don't turn yourself to a beggar. As for those who are well to do, don't forget we owe each other a duty to assist those in need at this trying moment. Final words; Remember that this is not the first time Nigeria is facing this sort of hyper inflation. It happened in the early 90s when government increased fuel price from 70k per litre to 15 naira. You may also ask people who lived than how they were able to cope. You could learn from their experiences and shape your own outlook. |
Nigeria is finished The third tier of government is as good as dead or moribund where it exists. Tere is urgent need for LGA reforms in Nigeria. All SIECs should be scrapped and return status quo to how it was in 1999 when INEC conducted LGA elections. Democracy is as good as dead in Nigeria because elections at all levels have not been credible. It is even worse at the LGA under state governor control. What exst today is not democracy but civilian dictatorship |
kedeojo:vote buying is sadly a political culture in Nigeria. It cuts across all the political parties. All those asking for the head of the unguarded senator should look inwards and have a sober reflection about how their actions and inactions have combined to destroy the country |
Nigeria na cruise. 5k and free bus to FCT. They could even be rented crowd they gathered at Zuba. The same youths youth improverished for 8 years under Yeye Bello selfish regime will sponsor themselves in solidarity? What sort of Stockholm syndrome? Next story please?

Sirhush:Any product which has been previously used definitely undergo depreciation in value. Imagine your grandpa bought a watch in 1990 at 100 Dollars. That was about 5000 naira back then. If you even sell it at 70 dollars today, that would be over 120000 naira. That's how we record progress in Nigerian economy |
This is a poignant sign of excuse for failure. Blame game has often been APC strategy right from buhari to the current junky. These group of supporter of APC addicts have absolutely nothing to offer. |

ReacherSaidNoth:Rather than brand them as a cult for prescribing punishment to unrepentant sinners, you should rather consider it a strength. The orukuruku in most of the christian denomination today is due to the lip service paid to holiness. It has always been a case of perpetually protecting the wealthy ones at the expense of the poor. So forget that archaic idea. |
Namaster:lf You are referring civilian rule as democracy, then you certainly need to have your head checked. We are not even close to a democracy. |

The realignment of the Horus and Osiris constellation towards forming an equilibrium in the milky way galaxy has led sky viewers to raise eye brows. This has not occurred before in their 100,000,000 years of existence. The recent eclipse of the sun observed in some parts of the globe has opened a new vista to astronomers who have just discovered a planet in the constabulary solar system of the super multiverse. Using the ultra-remote telescope, have been able to substantiate a relationship between Jupiter(the largest planet of the solar system) and this spec>fic planet yet to be granted a nomenclature. This novel discovery has opened a new vista to star gazers. A peak into the Jupiter (twin) planet indicates a lingering desire to use the vastly circular bodies to find answers to the lingering questions It has been currently observed a 0.005 degrees shift in the positioning of the north and south poles leading to increase in global temperatures and resultant heatwaves noticeably especially in the equatorial regions of the earth . The extrapolation of these phenomenal has led to an increase interest in the multiverse structure. Right now Scorpio is set to battle the other elements in the zodiac symbols leading to speculations about a third world war which might eventually obliterate the fragile existence. The apprehensions created in the hearts of mortals is sufficient to Ascertain and maintain the equilibrium required for the desired social order. |
