@Johnson or whatever they call you. SHAME on YOU!!! I got a phone call from Aba during the incident. Indeed Aba people turned up in mass to show their love to a man very dear to them. However, they also displayed their fury rage to the shameless FOOL (T.A. Orji) that paid you to cover him up here. Touts like you should be wiped out of this planet!

The oldest copies of the book date back to that time, and are written in Spanish and Italian.
Protestant pastor İhsan Özbek said it was unlikely to be authentic.
This is because St Barnabas lived in the first century and was one of the Apostles of Jesus, in contrast to this version which is said to come from the fifth or sixth century.
He told the Today Zaman newspaper: 'The copy in Ankara might have been written by one of the followers of St Barnabas.
'Since there is around 500 years in between St Barnabas and the writing of the Bible copy, Muslims may be disappointed to see that this copy does not include things they would like to see.
'It might have no relation with the content of the Gospel of Barnabas.'
Theology professor Ömer Faruk Harman said a scientific scan of the bible may be the only way to reveal how old it really is.

If a state should be created in Nigeria, it should be Aba in my own opinion. This city has great potential to compete with any industrialize cities in the world. Sadly enough, the ravenous visionless dickheads running the state are simply busy looting the state with reckless abandon.

@ CHINO11: I doubt if you really have anything Jews or some kind of enlightenment in you. Anyone of a Jewish accessory would never castigate fellow Jews. You are basically saying that the Ibo’s in Anambara are better of than Ibo’s somewhere in Nigeria and that the Jews in Israel are better of than the Jews in other part of the world?  And that an Ibo trader is better of than Ibo intellectuals in the banking or scientific institutions? I think you need some serious enlightenment here, sorry!

OIL BARRONS SUBSIDY CARTEL NAMES AND FACES AND HOW THEY STOLE NIGERIA FUTURE
Fuel Subsidy Scam: Senate Releases Names Of Cabal.

By SaharaReporters, New York
Oando Oil, CONOIL, African Petroleum and MRS Oil are among the powerful players in the petroleum sector that have shared over N3.655 trillion between 2006 and September 2011 in pursuit of importation of refined petroleum products.

This was revealed today in Abuja by the Nigerian Senate joint Committee on Petroleum (Downstream), Appropriation and Finance.

Senator Magnus Ibe, the chairman of the committee, also disclosed that some 100 companies in the downstream sector and in construction, shared over N1.426 trillion between January and August 2011 alone.

Oando Oil is owned by Wale Tinubu’s Oando; Mike Adenuga owns CONOIL, Femi Otedola owns AP, while MRS Oil is run by Aliko Dangote's brother, Sayyu Dantata. Other key players named today include Pinaccle Construction Ltd, as well as Integrated Oil and Gas, which is owned by a former Minister of the Interior, Capt. Emmanuel Iheanacho.

The full list, and their individual haul, as read out by Senator Abe, is as follows:
1. Oando Nigerian Plc. – N228.506 billion
2. MRS –N224.818 billion
3. Pinnacle Construction-N300 billion
4. Enak Oil & Gas –N19.684 billion
5. CONOIl – N37.960 billion
6. Bovas & Co. Nig. Ltd. – N5.685 billion,
7. Obat N85 billion and AP; N104.5billion.
8. Folawiyo Oil - N113.3 billion
9. 8.IPMAN Investment Limited- N10.9billion
10. ACON - N24.1billion
11. Atio Oil-N64.4billion
12. AMP- N11.4billion
13. Honeywell-N12.2billion
14. Emac Oil- N19.2billion
15. D.Jones Oil-N14.8billion;
16. Capital Oil - N22.4 billion
17. AZ Oil- N18.613billion
18. Eterna oil- N5.57 billion
19. Dozil oil- N3.375 billion
20. Fort oil-N8.582 billion.
21. Integrated Oil and Gas- N30.777 billion

With reference to 2011, the companies named by the Senate and the amount of money they have received this year alone include Otedola's African Petroleum, N104.58 billion; A.A. Rano, N1.14 billion; A.S.B, N3.16 billion; Arcon Plc, N24.116 billion; Aminu Resources, N2.3 billion; Avante Guard, N1.14 billion; Avido, N3.64 billion; Boffas and Company, N3.67 billion; and Brilla Energy, N960.3 million.

Others also listed are: DownStream Energy, N789.648 million; Dosil Oil and Gas, N3.375 billion; Inco Ray, N1.988 billion; Eternal, N5.574 billion; Folawiyo Energy, N113.32 billion; Frado International, N2.63 billion; First Deepwater Oil, N257.396 million; Heden Petrol, N693 million; Honeywell Petrol, N12.2 billion; Integrated oil, N30.777billion; AMP, N11.417 billion; Ascon, N5.271 billion; Channel Oil, N1.308 billion; Fort Oil, N8.582 billion; Enak Oil & Gas, N19.684 billion; IPMAN Investment Limited, N10.9 billion; Atio Oil, N64.4billion; AMP, N11.4billion; and Emac Oil, N19.2billion.

Findings by SaharaReporters correspondent indicate that in 2006, only MRS, TOTAL and OANDO were officially listed as beneficiaries of the fuel subsidy recognised by the Federal Government. The three companies were said to have been listed as “major marketers.”

In the following year, 2007, AP and MOBIL joined the three companies and became listed under the category of majors. The same year NIPCO was introduced and listed under the category of petrol depot owners. A new category of “independents” included some marketers who had no depots.

AITEO Energy Resources and TRIQUEST Energy were also added in 2007, bringing the total to eight beneficiaries of the fuel subsidy.

Our reporters gathered that the list of subsidy beneficiaries increased sharply in 2008, rising to of 23, including six majors. Also in 2008, CONOIL and NIPCO were joined by Capital Oil and Folawiyo Energy, under the category of depot owners.

The list of independents also increased from two in 2007 to 14 in 2008 as AITEO and TRIQUEST were said to have been joined by TONIQUE Oil services, IMAD Oil & Gas, Integrated Oil and Gas, Rahamaniyya, AMG Petro Energy, Brittania, ACORN, A-Z Petroleum, SHIELD Petroleum and MAJOPE Investment Limited.

And in 2010, while the beneficiaries of the subsidy payment under the category of major marketers remained steady at six and the depot owners remained two, the list of independent marketers jumped up to 28, with the curious inclusion of many relatively unknown and unheard-of companies.

Competent sources said that the lion’s percentage of N1.426 trillion fuel subsidy for this year will go to Otedola's AP, Wale Tinubu's OANDO, TOTAL, Sayyu Dantata's MRS and And Mike Adenuga's CONOIL.

Could this be a sign of another civil war in Nigeria?

LAGOS, Nigeria (AP) — The armed militia marched unstopped through Nigeria's largest city, firing shotguns and rifles in the air in what they called a protest against a radical Muslim sect responsible for killings across the oil-rich country.

The demonstration Thursday by members of the Oodua People's Congress highlighted the growing sense of insecurity and widening distrust among Nigeria's more than 160 million people and its major ethnic groups. Men armed with shotguns, rifles and machetes freely roamed the streets of Lagos without a sign of police, while passers-by shouted that their region of Nigeria should be protected — rather than the country as a whole.

Politics / Does Nigerian Law Permit Dual-citizenship? by pasthedutc: 1:52pm On Nov 29, 2011
I shall approach the problem of cultural location by explaining the context of Afro-German history, the concept and conflicts of identity, and the possible resolution of those conflicts in a definition of Afro-German identity. Grounded in the Afrocentric theory my analysis will relate the historical and cultural location information to the idea of agency, the central issue in any movement toward social and cultural sanity. To say that German history has been contested by race and the problems of race is to say the known; to argue, however, that the Afro-Germans of all mixed race people have been especially brutalized by the official leitmotif of the German society is to indict the politics of race.
A special issue of the Journal of Black Studies entitled "The Image of Africa in German Society," edited by Carol Aisha Blackshire-Belay and a book, Blacks and German Culture, edited by Reinhold Grimm and Jost Herman demonstrate the new interest in Afro-Germans. Carolyn Hodges writes in "The Private/Plural Selves of Afro-German Women and the Search for A Public Voice" in the special issue of the Journal of Black Studies that "the recurring expression of a loss of identity and a lack of community in which to identify is rooted in the precarious, and indeed, precarious situations, in which they find themselves.

My questions are: Can people of visible mixed African and European ancestry have place in Nigerian politics? Does Nigerian law permit dual-citizenship?

According to the World Health Organization, every year an estimated number of three million girls and women are at
risk for the harmful tradition of Female Core Mutilation/ Cutting (FGM/C). Nearly 140 million girls and women suffer
from its severe and long-lasting health consequences. FGM/C mainly is practiced in sub-Saharan Africa and Egypt,
but also in some Arabian and Asian states as well as in some ethnic groups in Middle- and South America. The practice is
one of the cruelest forms of violence and violates the basic human right of physical and mental integrity.
It therefore is a strong matter in our victim protection to initiate and improve measures concerning the prevention
and prosecution of FGM/C and to supply appropriate support. We know for sure that through migration and
globalization, FGM/C also is a problem in Europe, but yet we do not know a lot about the occurrence, background
and attitudes of African immigrants in Hamburg.

Just read the entire blog. You’re the only one defending the injustice perpetrated against your people. Everything about your post suggests that you’re nothing but a damn praise singer! Accept the fact that you and your whatever are nothing but failures; Africa and Nigeria need to flush people like you down the abyss to move forward! With all the resources surrounding your State, that’s all you can prove to the world? You must be a dick head arschloch!

By so speaking, your education is worthless. Your opinion doesn’t represent thousands of Abians desperately in need of a job! If I was lying, how come I know much about your state better than you do? Do you know how many German's of Nigerians descents living and working on big projects in Europe? I'm not here to fight you, rather to voice out the need for change in Africa. Your children pictures are been portrayed on mega billboards as poor, destitutes and hungry! If you love your country and Abia, please do me a favour: Go to the street and protest for change! You need it and unless people like you stood up for change, and challenge bad governance in Africa, Nigeria will never move forward! Your continent will forever remain a punching bag for the West, Chinese and Arabs! Can we be friends now and join together for change in Abia and Nigeria?
Politics / Re: Abia State Diagnostic Center Video: by pasthedutc: 2:27am On Nov 28, 2011
We need change in Africa. Every year thousands of your young men and women are being murdered trying to reach the western shores in search of a better life. Your young women and children are been violated tortured and forced into slavery and prostitution all over the world and you are telling me to leave your Abia alone?  I advised that you get your ass off that comfortable office and get creative! Because we won't leave your Abia, Nigeria or Africa alone until we liberate our people from the hands of thugs, selfish and blood sucking institutions that you have there!
You mentioned many companies in Aba? How many of them are still functioning? Why would you concentrate in Umuahia, and left the economic nerve of your state in an awful mess? How many intellectual leaders in this planet would do that?  I don't know how much you get from fantasizing things that aren’t real: the evidence of bad leadership in your state is vivid and staring at you on every level! Truth Hurts! And you may continue to deny the through nature of your shattered State, anyone who visited there will tell the tale!

NB: About my username, I lost my first account pword and couldn't retrieve it after moving back to Germany, that’s the fact believe it or not.

You should blame their leader Asari Dokubo. Wasn’t he fighting against the northern regime that maimed his people, killed the only true freedom fighter Ken Saro Wiwa? But in the end he sold his people for little money, converted to Islam the religion of the north. So tell me what kind of freedom fighter he was or is? Who is he going to side when the Niger-delta’s rise against the northern Muslim regime in the future? Wake up people, this guys are simply going to be become future jihadist in the Southern Nigeria by the time of their return! Wake up!!!!!! angry

I visited Aba Abia state, few months ago; nothing is working there, no roads, no infrastructures everything is dilapidating!! How would Nigeria and Africa ever succeed when you're singing praises to those who simply destroy your future and your future generation?
This governor that you are praising doesn't spend any state funds on great initiatives. When my team arrived Umuahia, two months ago, we’re told that the Governor was in the USA for a medical care, so why taking a simple medical treatment in the US?
I'm German, and over here innovative and sustainable project are greatly appreciated! I have sent couple of mechanized farm and vocational projects to help create much needed jobs for the youths in that state, even that the German government is willing to co-fund the projects, yet this man you're praising is yet to commit just 10% of the total cost. They expect us to do it all by ourselves! I consider it backward, foolish and ignorant…sorry.
If we succeed with our project, then he will call press conference, make a deceitful documentary like this to fool his people. But, we won't let that happen, we're taking our projects to the neighbouring IMO, who saw great potential in our ideas and willing to support not just 10% but 100%!

In the city where I live in the Netherlands, over 150 road construction was awarded this January, and guesses what? 95% of those contracts have been completed even with the worst rainy season we've ever encounter since 1906!  In the Western world, the leaders are chosen base on their creativities and their ability to rule, to create jobs, better health care system, better housing, environmental and social issues. Be creative!
Nairaland / General / Is Aba, Abia State A Failed State: Where Is The Efcc? by pasthedutc: 12:03pm On Sep 16, 2011
I just visited Nigeria and was extremely impressed by the developments I saw especially in Lagos! With those excitements, I continued my journey to the North, though less impressed as I was in Lagos, and finally ended up in Aba, Abia State:  A city that caught my interest in the first place due to its skills and great potentials. And indeed I was flabbergasted with what I saw! There were countless talents everywhere; almost everything can be manufactured in that city. From good quality clothing’s, shoes etc. Was I in China? I thought.  However, I was deeply saddened by the poor infrastructures there, dilapidated roads, rubbish and children all over the streets: While a few kilometres away in Akwa Ibom and Calabar; children there were sitting in classrooms learning! It seemed that the governments there are not sleeping just like in Lagos!
Back to Aba, I should say that those that run that city should be really really ashamed of themselves for neglecting such a highly potential city. And what struck me the most during our visit to Aba was that the people we interviewed lamented to us that, it was the President who should be held responsible for the bad leadership and looting of the states funds. When we asked why the President should be held responsible, “He campaigned for the re-election of the governor, we are betrayed”, they told us in one voice!
But, why would the President who portrays himself to the WEST as the Answer to the Nigerian economic and leadership problems campaigning for a so-called visionless Governor? I just don’t understand it? Where is the EFCC!

Conclusion:

Anyway, in my opinion Aba was the worst state that I visited during my 21 days visit to Nigeria. Conversely, a place that I would like to invest in the future when there is serenity and of, cause a good management!
