Then let the selling club worry about that. Abi which kain international mumu be this. A good player would be key to his current team thats why they are putting a price on his and not giving him for free. If you pay them, then nothing concerns you if and how they replace him

So Arsenal wants to get a new player and are worried about what the selling club replaces him with?

So Microsoft sees a good Engineer from Chevron but are worrying themselves that who would Chevron replace him with

Only in Arsenal
Omugoo argument again. Your stewpeed analogies are endless.

So an Engineer from Chevron informs Chevron that Microsoft has interest in him abi? Keep on dancing about in this your omugoo arguments.

I have told people on here I am not a media follower. I watch players and tell you who is crap who is mediocre and who is tops

I told folks on here for 3 seasons that Kompany was rubbish before people started seeing it. I told people on here that Hazard was rubbish before they started paying attention and seeing him for the fluke he is

Remove the EPL media hype, most of the players in your league are below average to mediocre.

I measure players by what they do in top games not who go fit score 50 goals vs Hull CIty, Sunderland and Bournemouth

Iniesta was deciding world cup finals, CL finals Euro cup finals. If Hazard has those wack goals and assist number in this generation then he isnt worth to be called a top class player
Coming from someone who thinks Alagolo Boateng is the best defender in the world.

Very rich of you!

Man Utd might have signed Martial for an enormous amount out of late planning (blame Gaal), but it shows we showed determination to get a striker, albeit late.

If Wenger was serious with inquiries for top strikers, we'd have read about it. Even the Benzema rumors was a drab news - blowing hot and cold.
It is one thing to find a top player, it is another thing for the selling club to sell the top player. Afterall, Chelsea tried to no avail to get John Stones. Tottenham tried four times to no avail to get that West Brom striker.

Whether Wenger showed serious ambition or not, no one knows. We can only but speculate.

A club that has ambition buys Di Maria and sells him alongside with Chicarito, Nani, RvP, only to buy a Ligue 1 teenager striker for a ridiculous amount. grin

I know it didn't take place, but there was a plan in place, which still boils down to fans being pet peeved with Wenger's lack of desire to add more, at least a striker.
How do you know Wenger lacked a desire to sign a striker? Did we show a lack of desire to sign a GK even when we did not really need a GK? Wenger has said if there are exceptional talent/striker out there, he would get such.

You think a 19 yr old boy from Ligue 1 is the first choice and preference striker for ManU within the last few months that the transfer market was open?

A ''planned'' protest implies a protest took place? See why you should not be smoking every rubbish you read on the internet without verifying from other sources.

There was no protest yesterday at the Emirates Stadium yesterday night.

So the Arsenal Supporters Trust writing a letter to the Arsenal Board to explain how our transfer went equals staging an upheaval protest at the Emirates Stadium?

I get what you're saying. This will be Giroud's third season with us, Walcott's tenth. Come on Man !!! Nobody is asking Mr Gru to throw money in a well, but, at least act like you're trying to improve that offensive line.
Okay, you say there are no strikers available, then get the right wing version of Alexis. There's no law that says we must play with a no. 9
I get your point. But if you must note, since August 2013, we have added to our squad players such as: Mesut Ozil (£42.5m), Danny Welbeck (£16m), Alexis Sanchez (£32m), Debuchy (£12m), Petr Cech (£10m), Calum Chambers (£16m), David Ospina (£4m), not forgetting the likes of Coquelin who was brought back from loan and has sealed himself off in the team. These players have improved Arsenal very well. I remember just before we bought Welbeck, most Arsenal fans were suggesting we buy Balotelli. Liverpool rather bought Balotelli for the same £16m as Welbeck. The same Balotelli has been shipped off from Liverpool.

A part of me wanted a new striker, but if they are not readily available, what can be done?
