StarBoard: We are not denying that there was attacking intent. I think You should be worried about that stat. And I'm not trolling. As it stands your side is no better than United at this point. Haba! This is a fallacy from you. You want to compare a Januzaj with Ox or Ramsey? The current Fatso with Giroud? Or Mata with Sanchez? Should we talk about the half-fit Bastian who was limping across the whole field on Saturday? Let Arsenal sort out our striking problems, and we shall see which team can stop us efficiently in the league. If ManU could not defeat Newcastle at Old Trafford, I think you should be more worried about what else is to come the way of your team this season. The season has just started and it is very good that all these teething problems we are having can be quickly rectified for us. As for your team, your Mr. Philosophy of a coach, believes there is no problem at all. |

StarBoard: Why you dey deflect attention from the issue? When last did you score a home goal barring the Emirates cup? Simple question, yet you are drawing comfort from United. This is the problem with you scummies and shekpe fans. You dwell too much with history. Arsenal is a work in progress. We realize that we need more efficiency with our home games. We almost had it today had it not been for the assistant referee who was a blind bat! Give it to these lads today! They played some good attacking football in the second half, which from my own view, only ManCity has been able to replicate so far this season. We just need that outstanding clinical finisher. Hopefully tonight's game has brought that reality to the naked eyes of Wenger and his coaching staff. |

Let him stay for that useless BurnThisLeagueDown and continuing shagging Alago and his useless defence. I am happy with Giroud's performance today. It gives more prompting for Wenger to go out there and get a striker for us. StarBoard: Leave story. Make una score first. Clowns. See who dey talk. Abeg teams with strikers are discussing here. I think Giroud has justified why he should not be starting as our striker. And whether we like the truth or not, we need to re-inforce our striking department.
Petr Cech at 33! Walai, that guy is phenomenal! Respect!
Ramsey is a beast! That flick he did! Bummer, his excellent goal was disallowed.
Alexis is still a bit rusty, I don't know why. But he did not seem to be fully in the game.
Hope Koscielny recovers on time from his back injury.
Calum Chambers gave away very cheap cheap balls in the first half.
We dominated the second half but our finishing had the touch of the handbrakes on it. I felt it became sharper with the introduction of the Ox.
Clean sheet, Petr Cech getting his confidence back and we are moving on!

coogar: lacazette would destroy this league. wenger is actually a tool for not getting him this season. he has everything. he's young, pacy, strong, can dribble and his movement on and off the ball is almost better than chicharito. if we get lacazette, he would score 30 goals easily in this league. the key to scoring in this league is pace, sheer abundance of pace and lacazette has got it in buckets.
for £60m, bayern would sell muller and his mom to us. The same Lacazette that was anonymous against Arsenal some weeks ago will destroy the EPL? You are an excellent sales rep! |

codedguy1: Guy, I don't have the energy to go back and forth with you cos you seem to believe Mikel was snatched rightly or wrongly. I also agree with you that Mikel aint worth all this talk sha.
But am happy you admitted compensation was paid to Man united, and we all know why that money was paid. My small knowledge of snatch tells me it means to take hastily or eagerly, its like even kidnapping and abducting someone or something, sometimes even at gun point.
One critical issue here was the fact that even though a deal had been reached by Oslo and United, Mikel had cried that he wanted chelsea and it would have been awkward for Man U to still want to keep a player who had clearly been convinced that Chelsea was a better club for him. United only cashed in on the situation. How is that snatching.
I even see the Pedro deal to chelsea more as snatching than the Mikel saga.
As per the party you are expecting here today, didn't you get the Memo, it has been shifted to Monday night at the Emirates thread. Some of you surely know how to tempt persin to keep flogging this matter unlike a doofus who posts wikipedia links, copies and pastes insults with nothing intellectual upstairs to back it up. codedguy1: This just summarizes what happened! Mikel was never snatched from United. Infact man United were compensated to let Mikel go to chelsea because he had cried that Chelsea was his preferred destination.
It would have been ridiculous and awkward for man u to have insisted they wanted to keep a Mikel who cried on international TV that he wanted Chelsea. In order to let him go Mikel go Man u had to be paid, hence the 12M.
How can that be snatching? Haba! Mikel supposedly had a contract agreement with ManU. Chelsea came through the backdoor got Mikel to come on International TV to say he wants to play for Chelsea, Chelsea paid ManU compensation fee and paid Mikel's parent club the agreement fee. That was nothing but pure snatching. I am not going to flog this matter again. Mikel Obi is not worth the issue to keep haranguing over. There is a party here today and I heard the cow that will be butchered is almost here. So abeg, make we begin clear area for the ariya that Newcastle will perform today. |

sinizia: Bro, i know you wouldn't want to accept the truth that Chelshit snatched Mikel SLOW-obi from us because of bragging rights over that troll, PartHACKi, but the whole ordeal is written all over the internet and hence can't be denied. On the flip side, i'm happy that he was snatched cos a single Carrick is better than a hundred Slow-Obi's. But there's no denying that Chelshit did not just a snatching, but a grade-A snatching in the Mikel saga. Let me allow a credible site do all my talking. Read the embolden texts and learn the harsh truth.
(Note the words "wishes to join" for Chelshit and "agree terms with Man Utd" for Man Utd)
Now the last embolden is what you & Funlord, is failing to accept which Pataki is harping on. The questions are:
A. Why would Chelshit pay Man Utd £12million, triple the amount paid to Oslo the parent club and original owners of Mikel? For Xmas shopping? For boat trip?
B. Why didn't Chelshit pay Man Utd such amount in Pedro deal if not for the fact that Man Utd haven't agreed shít with Barca or paid them?
Mikel was snatched!! He betrayed us like Judas. But it was a good betrayal that favored us with Carrick. If after all these explanations you still refused to accept the truth, then I've nothing else to type. Fundunce, can you read? Instead of foolishly quoting wikipedia for me and trawling the internet for insult to post at me. READ and UNDERSTAND next time. You have been schooled by a fellow Manure fan for free tonight! |

sinizia: LOL. This your "semantics" excuse to circumvent around the truth failed woefully!!
Accept the truth. Let me simplify it.
There are three conditions that must be fulfilled before a player signs;
A. The club reserve the final say on its players sales unless the player is a free agent. This is the most important condition. If the club refuses to sell, the player won't leave if under a contract. E.g: Juventus told Barca that they have the final say on Pogba regardless of Barca's agreement with Raiola
B. A player and the interested club wooing him will (not a must o) agree before the transfer can go through. E.g: Ballotelli refusing Watford's advances even though Liverfool will sell him if he agrees to join them.
C. The player has to agree personal terms with his new club and pass their medicals before he's unveiled as their player.
Now let's solve the puzzle.
A. Coach of Club A meets with Player Z and they both agree Club A will buy Player Z. Condition B fulfilled.
B. Club A meets with club of Player Z and both clubs refuses on the amount Player Z would be sold on. Condition A, the most important condition not met.
C. Another club called Club C now knew Club A will never pay the amount club of Player Z placed on him, then offers to pay club of Player Z the money, and got Player Z.
If that's snatching to you, then Man Utd snatched Schneiderlin from Assnal which is lie cos when Assnal refused to pay the amount Southampton placed on him, Man Utd decided to pay the amount this season and got him. Haba! Don't disgrace me na! Where did you read that Arsenal made any bid whatsoever for Schneiderlin? How much did we offer for Schneiderlin? It seems you are not understanding the basics here. ManU was the original intent of Arjen Robben. Even his father explicitly stated so. Even Arjen himself affirmed this. Lets even go further with your explanation using this: ''A. Coach of Club A meets with Player Z and they both agree Club A will buy Player Z.'' Arjen had even gone ahead to meet with Sir Fergie in London. The amount Sir Fergie dropped was ludicrous. Chelsea seized the moment and offered way more than double and bagged Arjen Robben within the twinkle of an eye! If that is not snatching, abeg lets agree to disagree! Have you read Katsumoto's posting here? |
