If the program she is going for is an exchange program or a program which is a pre- requisite to enter an undergraduate program then she can apply while she is in canada. I came in wit lots of Oporoko-stock fish and panla- Dry fish.its all about packaging in a transparent bags and neatly labelling. e.g dry pepper- Chilli, ginger+maggi+curry+thyme- Spice etc. pls seal well and u are good to go. wit all of dis I still gave Nigerian Customs some Change SMH.

Actually it depends on ur Cgpa.. Universities accept 2 1 and above, sometimes 2 2 it all depends on d Uni. also try out some colleges. for January intake I guess admission is very much still on. I wish u success in ur application.

You may not believe this but your reasons for claiming asylum is not good enough, if your life is in danger Canada is not the next safest country to Nigeria, there are many states in Nigeria that is safe and cheaper for you to move to. If the govt and bh are hunting for your life than you will be a security risk to any country because its hard to understand why you are wanted by both govt and bh.

Couple of months ago a Nigerian who came to the UK to claim asylum with almost the same reason as you have stated was deported. He was on hunger strike for many days, his lawyer tried, people protested but all failed because they don't want to open the flood gate for people to use the crisis in Nigeria to claim asylum, if one is given then it will be used as a precedent by other prospective asylum seekers.

For get about what you read online, the reality is parallels to that.

My journey was fantastic despite d fact that I spent almost an hour with 5 CBSA agents on my case in toronto.......1). my visa was issued in may 22 so they were contemplating whether to issue a work permit or not......one woman sey make dem no give me. d orda say make den give me. They were talking about my issue for about 45mins I don dey scare self but as a naija breed noting do me naw. But at d end I was issued a work permit. 2) my passport is gonna expire very soon so I was told I can renew d passport in ottawa and apply for a extension for study permit at later date. @patdeka, the LOI is nt that important but in my case it was a lot useful.
