ajasa4link: When I gained admission into lasu during the 2009/2010 session I heard about the scholarship scheme and was informed if I could attain a cgpa of 4.0 ,then I will automatically become a beneficiary under the scheme.. So I just worked hard and at the end of the session my cgpa was a little above 4 point sha... During the next session, I think late first semester all scholars name were pasted at each faculty boards and scholars were informed about the scholarship ceremony which was to be held in their honour.. The scholars name were also published in punch newspaper before the scholars ceremony. The scholarship ceremony was just a formality, though it's a great feeling to sit in a hall filled with other intelligent peeps like u sha...,,but all the same we were not interested in the boring talks and round of applause which we had to bear from all speakers during the ceremony, we were more interested in when our cheque will be ready.....So we picked up our scholarship letters at the faculty office and proceeded with it to the Bursary office at the admin block and collected our cheques the following week. .Note: that was the 20k which was the allowance for textbooks... The refund of school fees came very late, as a matter of fact I collected my school fees back this year.....Since then lasu hasn't paid out scholarship funds... so for 200level we are yet to collect, and 300level as well though during our 300level the scholarship qualification point was increased to 4.5 since more scholars were emerging each session and lasu no want make all these scholars run dem down...Lol...

ajasa4link: The first part of this post is not true.... The present scholarship scheme is worth just 25per cent of ur present school fees for the session u attained 4.5 as ur cgpa....

ajasa4link: once u can attain a cgpa of 4.5 a session, then u are qualified for the scholarship... it was 4.0 before and I was a beneficiary in 100level back then...I collected back my school fees and 20k

omat20: @GHomologue d lasu scholarship is worth up to a million or half.it covers ur fees and ur books.but u have 2 get 4.5CGPA every session to get these privileges
