Like I said in the second part of my comment, trophy conquests don't seem so trophy like any more; and the jealousy factor that they excite in your fellow man has largely disappeared. Underneath all that paint, fake lashes, fake nails etc, the most local farmer's daughter has as much to offer than any flashy woman. Also, what a woman conceives to be pretty is not the same as what a man conceives to be pretty. Women think fake and flashy is pretty. Men think simple and honest to be pretty. Men only flock around the fake and flashily because the perception is that she's the cheaper lay.

Wow! I really don't know what to say now.

I am learning, I guess.

Vaginal smell isn't recorded in many ladies.

Vagina is called fish in some countries, why? Cause naturally the vagina in some cases give out a fishy smell.

You are wrong my sister, we do go for the hardworking, thrifty and modest Nigerian woman, but only when we want to get married. Bling bling women are only for a quick lay and to parade in front of the brothers as trophy conquests. But these days, trophy conquests are looking stale and homogenous (they all use the same bleach, face paint, fake parts and false hair) so no man wants to pay through the nose to parade a bling bling girl when every other guys' girlfriends look almost exactly the same.

Just my take.

Hmmmn!

Well, you guys should also learn to gallantly man up to the demands of the 'trophy conquest' while it lasts.

Just leave the rest out of your adventure or fortune.

Romance / What Does The Average Nigerian Man Want? Do You Know? by Patiks: 6:42pm On Jan 12, 2021
What does the average Nigerian adult male want from the average Nigerian woman? The answer to this question is elusive to many other reasonable ladies that I have come across in life.

Today, you see the pretty and flashy women get most of the guys and you all like: "It is because they look pretty and flashy."

Tomorrow, the men come online and say: "We don't like ladies with artificial hair, nails, bla bla bla." Yet you don't see most of the average looking /modest women with them on the street.

Now, the new narrative is Nigerian women are high maintenance, lazy, demanding... Who introduced them to that lifestyle? Certainly not their female counterparts!

All these endless posts on how Nigerian women are demanding, oloshos, jobless and the rest, are beginning to expose how confused, irrelevant and frustrated some Nigerian men are fast becoming.

You complain about high maintenance women, yet you won't go for the hardworking, thrifty and modest Nigerian woman, because she doesn't have the bling, bling or superb look that you so much cherish.

Bros, abeg, is it Angel Michael who will foot the bills? Have you checked how much a good wig, lotion or makeup costs recently?

Abeg, cut your Agbada according to your lace or Aso-oke material. Soup when sweet, na money kill am.

If you can't spend on an expensive but good looking woman, those of us who are hardworking, modest and thrifty bokun for Nigeria. There is one to suit your modest personality and pocket. Just remember that some of us do not have the captivating and posh look you so much desire.

So, my Brotherman, what do you want?

Yes, nearly that in JSS1 and SS1 cos N455 for ONLY starting term of basic seven or SS1 (one term)+ 230k for 2 terms =455+460=915k NOT 1.1m as stated by OP.

Although the difference is not much, thanks for the correction.

No. It is not! It is #445k for a start. I am a parent and paid last term. This one is not 'they said' or 'internet matter sir. I made the payment and have receipt. I repeat it's #445k and covers uniform, books, tuition, feeding and boarding etc for first term. It's same for all the campuses.

N455k or thereabouts for a SESSION i.e. three terms will amount to a million.

Hello Patiks, I think you've taken it a bit far. As much as I wouldn't like to talk very much about it, it's a fact that has been established by several English experts themselves (interviewers and ex-bosses).

Moreover, I didn't mean to brag about that; and it didn't imply that I know more than them all. The thing is it would take another person of more years of experience in studying and teaching the subject to push me off.

About Phonics; well, I'm not a great fan of what is called the 'Jolly Phonics'. I think it's got lots of artificialities involved. I prefer to focus on correct pronunciation or articulation of the sounds of English and words; and other important things required in major exams. Not just teaching students some phonetically structured phrases to memorise like a poem or song: no, correct pronunciations should come naturally.

Anyway, Phonetics is just a small part of the exam requirements: it's just 15% in the WAEC.

Thanks for your time.

Hhmn!

I don't know what the epistle on Jolly Phonics
and WAEC requirement has to do with your hasty generalisation.

Lemme come and be going. All the best in your job search.

Hello educationists in the house! I would appreciate if I could get an answer to this question on masters in education. I got a bachelor's degree in educational management just few years ago, and I wonder if I could cross over to an English related course for my masters in education later.

Meanwhile, I already have a strong degree level of mastery of the English language, as I have been studying and teaching it for many many years (studied for at least nine years). As a result, I always seem to do quite better than English graduates in English language teaching job interviews.

I really don't think it would be ideal to continue on with masters in educational management because it won't necessarily qualify me to work has a school head, an administrator or any such thing. The major requirement sometimes is having an experience of about five years in the role, which is not very easy to come by.

***In passing: should you have any job opening for school administration or teaching (English language/Phonetics, up to WAEC/JAMB level); preferably within southwest, please get back to me.

N.B: Comment down below only if you've got something relevant and helpful to say.

Thanks for your time.

Hilarious!

[b][quote author=Vaughanlanrewaj post=96482634]I stated here before that heads will roll at CNN.

That was a horrible report.
Nigeria will sue them if they don't apologise and do more than this infantile recant.

Perhaps they still think it is joke.

How on earth can you state that 36 people were shot dead by soldiers without being at the scene and in the face of very credible question still hanging in the air "if soldiers killed even 1 person with their bullets, let alone 36 or 78 according to alleged lie by Switch, did soldiers kill all their friends, families, colleagues, neighbours, pastors/imams,boyfriends,girlfriends etc too? shocked

All the revenue CNN generated on those days from the online traffic and on TV viewership while beaming that fake news must be demanded as damages and used to take care of victims of police brutality, victims of the carnage and those their fake news further destroyed. The request for the damages must co-copy HE Donald Trump, the Republic Party and CBS.

Amnesty international must receive their own letter too while Lagos State Government must investigate the audio of IPOB leader instructing and commanding his IPOB members to burn down Lagos and establish the nexus between the audio and the coordinated arson in Lagos.
If found culpable, he should be reported to ICC and Interpol and other international bodies and prosecuted in absentia if he does not turn himself in.

If HE Sanwo Olu does not investigate this IPOB leader audio telling people to burn down Lagos, Lagosians, indigenes and Association of Lagos indigenes like the Lagos State Council of Obas and others should sue the government for not doing its job and compel the government to investigate the whole audio and movement of youths from the South East to join the protest in Lagos when same protest was going on in the South East!

This injustice against Lagos and Lagosians will not be permitted.

It is completely despicable that someone will tell people to go burn down Lagos and still not be charged by now. It is enabling him to commit more crime or someone else to wake up someday and instruct people to go burn down Abuja or Onitsha or Kaduna or PH or Benin and those places get burnt and we carry on as if we can't enforce our own laws.
#Justice for Lagos and victims of the carnage in Lagos

I think they were reckless and their shoddy coverage will eventually make heads roll in CNN.
Heads will roll just like the last time they paid some people to act like MEND until they got busted.

They were absolutely reckless especially after HE Trump called them fake news media for 4 years.

This damning verdict by this independent body of journalists is just the beginning. They were not even at the scene yet ignored the report of those credible media houses present at the scene.

Yet they are grandstanding.

CNN used some of the fake creatives that IPOB leader and his followers used to distract while they allegedly carry out the instruction of their leader to cowardly burn down Lagos.

So you mean they should come to thee..... court set up by the.....?

Wake up from your slumber! Very few trust the justice system here. It won't be surprising if they turn round and charge the relations/friends of 'victims' with some terms like conniving, accomplice, felony and the rest.

It is high time we started telling ourselves the truth. If you see the truth, and you try to use technicalities and grammar to confuse people, you cannot confuse God who is the Chief Justice of Heaven's Court of Justice. He never sleeps nor slumbers. He will repay us all according to our works.

Young woman stop acting on emotions, let the empirical evidence guide our thinking. He's only asking a simple question, if you have any evidence of someone you know that truly died, bring it forth. If you claim some of those that died might have been living alone, don't they have neighbors?, relatives unable to reach them?, family etc. Nobody is in support of unlawful killings by Security forces but we need to be empirically certain that people with evil motives desirous of instigating anarchy and chaos are not pushing fake news out there.

Nobody wants to be killed based on what might be true or false in the future
yet many don't care in this case.

Many have been killed since the protest started before and after Lekki, no doubt about that. But some people
needed a "big" event for some hidden agenda.

Are you disputing that live bullets kill/ maim?
It will be nice if karma uses you as an experiment then we can objectively discuss whether you are maimed or dead.

Till then, I will ignore you because this discussion lacks evidence. Case dismissed!
