I have a study gap of 10 years. I submitted my CV with my application to the school to get my offer though some years of teaching weren't captured in that CV. Am about to submit for visa application, I want to avoid NSF ish, what can I do to cover the five years of teaching up?

From the feedbacks received of recent, UKVI does not care about your CV, your employment details are what they need, appointment letter or letter of introduction from your company, the most recent will be fine. CV is inconsequential

Thank you. I submitted documents stated on my CAS (uk masters degree) , I also submitted my POF, Tuberculosis test result, work references to show study gap, NYSC all merged into one document to justify study gap, marriage certificate, previous uk visas and other visas all merged in one document.

5,500 study deposit, then the balance school fee is spread for the next 5 months starting from Oct. (Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan & Feb).

What new process? Schools differ when it comes to cas issuance and I wasnt speaking about the past but current circumstances. Just be sure you know when your school will begin to issue cas. Some give it six, others three months

Yeah, guess its a school thing, like u said, best to confirm from the school directly.

Well, guess that was as at last year, the new process from what I gather is now 6 months, so let us see how the schools comply going forward. It really does not make sense to issue CAS 3 months to start date though, it brings a lot of pressure and last min rush even for them.

You can apply for Visa 6 months to your course state date, so why wait ?

How much POF is needed to study in Cardiff for husband and Wife (Dependant), school fees £12,200. Initial deposit £6,100.

Your balance school fee + your upkeep for 9month (1,023*9) + upkeep + your wife upkeep for 9months (680*9) - This is calculated on the assumption of been outside London, London upkeep is much higher.

NB: After the total, just add a liru buffer.

You lost me at "my agent said". It's okay to use an agent but you need to know a couple of things to avoid instances like this.

If you've paid 50% from your fees, you should have about £6200 left to pay. Maintenance fee; In London: £12,100. Outside London: £9207. Do the maths, convert to dollar and that's the money you need for PoF. Don't let any agent do you magomago.

You are spot-on, rely less on these agents, get your fact straight from https://www.gov.uk/student-visa/money
All the information needed is there, i did the calculation too and am confused on why the agent is saying its not enough. My only advise is, if your POF is for example 5M after converting using oanda which is the official conversion platform for the immigration office, add a little buffer like 1M, and am 100% u re good to go.

I'm planning towards September intake at Salford but my passport is going to expire by December. I went to the Nigeria Immigration office and i was told i won't be able to renew the passport until 6 months (June) before the expiry date. I want to kickstart my application by June which means a renewal will slow things down as i have to wait 6 weeks to get a new one. Can I apply for a Uk visa with a passport validity of 6 months or less? I want to know what minimum validity should be on your passport at the point of Visa application.

Well, with the right immigration agent, you can renew before the six month stuff.

I called the admission office today, there is no deadline for tuition deposit and if you pay now they can only issue CAS 3 months before months of resumption.

Hello, not sure who gave you this information, but from the UK website, the process is now issuance of CAS commences 6 months to admission and got same confirmation from a UK school when i asked.
