sleekdot: Whether Eriksen is a good or bad signing is beside the point. A club like Inter cannot afford to buy a player who will be free in 6months for 17M, pay him top wages and the coach doesnt like him anymore
Man Utd Chelsea City can pay Varane 100M pay him 500k and sit him on the bench for life, they have the money
Obi Cubana can buy a 5M Toyota for 20M, then park it in his compound to rot away. Can I try that? How much did Inter pay for Lukaku and Hakimi? Isn't it obvious that the virus took a toll on the club’s finances? I read that the owners had to shut down most of their other businesses. |

sleekdot: Pep was competing against football clubs who can afford big wages like Man Utd Chelsea
Winning the league against that Juventus coached by Pirlo is not a big deal
That Juventus finished below Atalanta with 44M in wages and AC Milan with 84M in wages What then is a big deal? Winning the league with Manchester United coached by Ole or with Liverpool without their first team CBs for the greater part of the season or Chelsea that was having a terrible season before Tuchel came in and turned things around? If Conte doesn't deserve any credit then Pep should be stoned for failing the win the league in February... |

sleekdot: Then you make do with sensible signings not signing Vidal that every sensible club knows is way pastit or signing Eriksen for 17M with 6months left and sitting him on the bench
In a club like Chelsea he can get away with Drinkwater Bakayoko Zapacosta, Barkley Palmieri etc on the bench each costing a lot of money. Inter cannot afford that Are you saying Eriksen is a bad signing? When he was signed, did you come out to say his signing was a waste? What if they had waited until the summer and lost him to a top team? Let me ask you, is Varane's signing a bad deal considering Manchester United would've gotten him for free next season? See Chelsea and Haaland, they tried to sign him now even when they know they can get him for 75m next summer simply because they know other top clubs will compete for his signature next summer. |

Rashford is yet to have his surgery done and now we are hearing he has a foot injury...Did the club just know this? No, they have been on the know since yet Cavani for some reason was granted an extended holiday which means he'll most likely be unavailable against Leeds...
I can't believe the club is banking on Martial who has not played a competitive game in months...All these should have been factored in when they scheduled breaks for the players...

sleekdot: So you think a coach who demanded Vidal does not know Vidal will get wages? Or he thinks Kolarov will play for free Thomas Munier joined Dortmund on a free transfer abi that one sef is more attractive than Inter?
Pep demanded transfers and his team bought them for him, his team has not gone bankrupt yet just like Cuntay did when he blew through a quarter of a billion in 1 season. If not that Roman has deep pockets like City they will be auctioning top players now
You cannot be paying 130M in wages and be crashing out of CL group stages last in your group, Clubs have declared bankruptcy for lesser I don't understand, Conte won the EPL and with Inter, he won the Serie A against much fancied Juventus... How much did Pep spend before he could win the EPL? How much did Conte spend to win the Serie A? You guys are now looking at wages when in all honesty Inter's total wage doesn't compare to that of Juve who were the bookies favorite to win the league...You guys are clutching at straws. |

If you are operating on a budget, what is the point of gathering geriatrics in the team and end up crashing out of CL groups to Monchengladbach and Donestsk
4yrs after Cuntay left Chelsea is still struggling to offload Bakayoko, Zapacosta and Drinkwater Should we blame Conte or those in charge of transfers and negotiations? If yes, then those who said Pep is a cheque book manager are right because he requested for those players to be signed... Panther7: I agree with you completely but there's one problem, We tend to build from the back with Ole, getting a midfielder that can't pass the ball is the same as playing Mcfred. Ndidi, Bissouma, Neves, Camavinga and all the names we have been linked to bar Neves and Camavinga are very good defensively yet are not bad on the ball especially Neves and Camavinga... When you mentioned McFred, I started searching my head if there's a CM with a poor first touch as Fred and his goon but alas, I can't think of any...Safe to say, whoever we sign will be better on than McFred... |

Can also try Kalvin Philips, Bissouma or Brozovic. Even the Neves guy, might just click. I didn't even see this before quoting you...Brozovic is another option. Inter will gladly accept Bailly... |

GloryIsaac: Was funny seeing Olé call it a bonus. Wonder how they’ll manage Matic when competing on all fronts.
Heard Barca is in financial crisis, United can bail them out a bit by signing Frenkie De Jong. He'll likely command a wage of 300-350k weekly and he is more effective on the ball than shielding the defence. If we must go for that kind of player, we should as well go for Neves as he is better defensively... Ndidi or Bissouma should do or we heard to Ligue 1, they are so many fine DMs there at a fair price. |

Juan Mata has had his contract renewed... What are we doing with 4 goalies? DDG, Henderson, Heaton and Lee Grant? Why exactly was Heaton signed when we are not letting go of one of DDG or Henderson? Grant? SMH... Jones, why was his deal extended? We paid over 40m or thereabout for Pellestri and Amad and now, we have signed Sancho for £73m...Makes no sense... Martial, Rashford, DDG and Pogba are all on ridiculous wages far more than their performance warrants... Why did we sign Dalot? What’s Bailly still doing in the club? We are lucky that even though Woodward has been useless in handling contract negotiations, he has not been that bad attracting sponsors and for a good money in his time...
