The full back issue is not as bad as you think, Arnold lost form earlier this season, but Robertson didn't, they were not limited attack-wise as you think.

Losing Van Dijk, Gomez and Matip is beyond any coach. He even tried Fabinho and Hendo and at some point, they got injured...If the injuries was spread across the team then he'd have no excuse but no, it's was the CB position...

Another area they struggled is in attack, Salah might have score over 20 goals but he hasn't exactly been at his best in matches. Mane was pants, I hope he isn't done yet. Firmino only recently picked up...Their only attacker who looked dangerous whenever he plays is Jota but injury sef tie that one. If it was in Africa, they'd say it's spiritual...lol...

We have been watching him for years. He is good and assured on the ball and has good acceleration. He has 2 enemies, defensive consistency and injuries.
Both are tied because he suffered a series of injuries between 16 and 18 which meant he was unable to get the regular minutes needed to iron out his mistakes. Luckily he has been relatively injury free this season so hopefully he can kick on from that. Maybe Championship loan next season or a mid-table EPL loan cos his current loan is in League One. He is still only 19 so there is still time, he just needs to stay fit.

I don't want us to go into next with Wan-Bissaka as the only option at RB...Dalot or Laird should stay or we sign another RB which isn't a good option.

Liverpool rely a lot on Arnold and Robertson to stretch the opponent and create chances. The absence of their first choice CB options and Hendo has seen their full back attack less and when they do, they get terribly exposed when countered because their CBs drafted in were vastly inferior to those they covered for...

So? It’s not like Maguire and Lindelof started playing this season, they were the club’s first choice CB pairing last season.
Lol Weedtaker, the system Ole deployed that night against PSG was a 3 at the back system which is not our usual system. Axel did well that night but how has he fared the few times we’ve seen him play in the normal 4 at the back formation?
For some reason Ole clearly doesn’t trust his bench and you’ve got to wonder why? Whenever he plays the second team, they’ve clearly underwhelmed and he is the one that receives the flack for it.

Before the start of the season, I made a post here highlighting that Ole doesn't trust his bench, the post was based on the back of what happened last season especially that UEL semi final defeat to Sevilla and we are ending this season with the same complaints...Is it that the bench is really bad or the first team members are really good?

In some cases, the first team players have been really good (Shaw and Fernandes) and in other cases, it just points to the fact that Ole doesn't trust those on the bench. I dare say that Maguire has been overused, even in games where we didn't need to play him, Ole still played him and now, he is out injured at a crucial point of the season, who's to be blamed? Ole of course...

When you’re good you’re good. And starting well is easy, maintaining that level of performance is what’s hard. His crappy performances were after the psg game. Same with Bailly after that very good one-time performance during the season.

How do you build momentum after a great game, by sitting on the bench in the proceeding games?

How exactly you guys want players who hardly play to look great after several games on the bench is beyond me...If you have ever played football, you'd know that training and friendly games is quite different from competitive soccer where the challenge is different...

Tuanzebe put up the best defensive performance of any Manchester United defender against Mbappe and Neymar and after that, what next, he returned to the bench. How do you gain momentum when the coach doesn't play you often? Lindelof will have a bad game yet Ole will still pick Jim for the next one.

If Ole allows for fair competition I'm quite sure Bailly and even Tuanzebe will push Lindelof to the limits for a place in the team...
