It's funny to find Arsenal fans still jumping on Wengers financial prudence, granted he doesn't spend as much as Man Utd, Chelsea, City, Barca, Madrid but he sure does spend a lot of money and should be delivering trophies at the end of the season.
It's outright mediocrity for Arsenal fans to use financial clout as an excuse in times where Juventus with less spending over the past 5 years have reached the UCL Final, A. Madrid have also won La Liga and reached the UCL final, Dortmund have also achieved a lot spending less on player transfer and more recently, Leicester City.

It will take a couple of games for Martial to get in to full rhythm, he has a lot to adjust to, like the fact that he is no longer the teams undisputed talisman, the extra defensive duties that comes with his role and the extra bit of attention he gets from opposition defenses...
Overall, as the season progresses, spaces will open up for him when teams begin to focus more Ibra through the middle, Mata/Valencia on the right and Pogba's driving runs from deep...

Martial's case is complicated. I think he's getting fitter and once he gets a goal, it's BOOM.

Jose would do well to keep him in the team and get him back at his best. Martial's skill set is still unique as he's the only attacking player at an high level capable of running at opposition defenses and taking them apart with his dribbling. That always come in handy.

You are right about Martial, dude looked reasonably sharp today. As per running at opposition defenders, I'd say Mkhitaryan isn't far off especially as he has a better end product to his play.
At this point, an Injury for Rooney might just be the catalyst to set this team up for the spectacular

Nice game from Chelsea yesterday, the tactics of Conte was spot on, Willian and Ivanovic on the right and Azpi and Hazard on the left pressed west ham back not allowing any forward play from their wings thus Carroll was starved of service all game. Wonderful set up there, hope Mou has taken note cos if you let West Ham whoop in those area balls you're in for trouble.
Having said that, I think Costa was lucky not to be carded for that tackle on Adrian.
