Toks2008:Being a pro-women is not optional, we all have mothers and Sisters, cousins and nieces. So I don't doubt you being with them 500% . I salute your courage to say the hard facts when you're well aware there'll be confrontations and reactions. |
GodsLastBorn:Yes my brother and friend, I am a guy. Thanks a million. I love healthy, purposeful and interactive threads, let create more of it. But remember, no one can change things except we, the youth. Are you ready for a paradigm shift?? |
hizaya61:
|
Toks2008:Absolutely on point. My problem with us as youths is that we leave cancer and start chasing headache. We want soft but false landing. With many lessons flying all around, we still love to deceive ourselves, holding unto fantasy, like Alice in wonderland. Kudos Brother........ |
Toks2008:Haba! My paddi You denying your own sistos? Just on the humour side of things anyways...... They are wonderful. And I'll like to meet them, with your permission. But to be frank, your write up, which exclusively is your opinion, are great and I know for certain that they carry deep lessons |
Toks2008:Can I point? ![]() Cuz am beginning to see vision o ![]() Lets follow each other. |
Toks2008:My Brother and Friend, Plenty Thanks. Wait a minute! Omo Your home is full of beautiful Damsels. Well, am a man. Single........ However, I like to choose My poison myself. ![]() |
seunny4lif:Some countries deserve sanctions, but they also deserve the beauty of their sovereignty. |
EzeNri:Yes Brother....while no one doubts Obama's Experience and all those world-leader tags, I can help imagine what would have happened if Russia also returned fire for fire. By now, the whole news and the world would be busy preparing their minds for another war. That is the difference. Yoruba people say : "cutting off the head is not the cure to headache", and while Obama has not come clean with the Evidence that Russia truly influenced the election, he was rather too childish to lash out a diplomatic ejection, even b4 evidence. If we are talking about hacking, hacking is a part of international politics, every country hacks the others to keep abreast of plans and innuendoes, so that doesn't constitute a reason to take such actions. So world leader or not, Russia humbled him. Period! |
Elkay3:Evidence of what we have been hammering on. |
koladebrainiac:Government policy can destroy any business, whether or not it has these three important factors you listed above. But more than anything else goal and focus is most important. You've seen people who have money but don't know or have what to invest in. Nigeria is like such people, we have the money, we can procure the equipment and materials anywhere in the world or produce them here in Nigeria but we have not been doing that because we have not decided to get to that level yet. It pathetic and disheartening but it is our reality. |
A Jobless, Flairless or Visionless woman is a burden to a man, irrespective of the love between them. To be clear, Love becomes sweeter and bonds get tighter if a woman brings something to the table, other than her face, curves and what's between her legs. The reason most men treat their wives like grandmas after one child or two children is because those "assets" they take as their selling point would have lost their first-hand values. At such point, Na Double wahala for the owner of them body. Wise women know these things. They know that a man has a special place for a hardworking and supportive wife, one who refused to be a hang-on in his journey of life. And while many slug the phrase "Real Love is or is not" out, let me throw this pragmatic bomb in the middle: "True Love exists, only as a condition" The man that fell in love with you saw something.....he heard something.....or felt something. If not, why didn't he woo Shade instead of Laide. I read a Lady's new year prayer that "God should frustrate men into marriage this year", and in Olamide's Voice "that kind prayer la fin Shey tissue". That was the first prayer rejected in heaven this year believe. Instead of her to pray that God Help them build marriageable Characters and Self-Control from all useless, senseless and unprofitable Flexing, she's asking for a frustrated man as a husband, Shioo! Love is a beautiful thing. My opinion. |
.........and replaced it with a more advanced rigging Mega-Machine. |
azimibraun:God Have Mercy on us. We have no other country of origin. |
wordcat:It could be thru that she earned salary all her life but that doesn't invalidate the potency of her question and the of any other person for that matter so long it help us realise where we are and are heading to. A Chinese proverb says "one day with a wise man is better than 10 years of formal education". Our fathers that had shown us how to be successful in life dont necessarily be successful, we only need their wisdoms and foresight. Peace! |
Cekpo34:Read it again...........this time around, with an open mind. |
AntiWailer:The Wailer/Zombie divide show how badly our sense of nationalism and coexistence had degenerated. We no longer see issues from the angle of general good and benefit to humanity but from how well it buffers our ego and petty narratives. |
Elkay3:When Commonsense becomes Sarcasm to you, I think you need a self-check. |
acenazt:Hmmmmn.......i wouldn't say that. But its your opinion. |
Solowande:That's the word! Maturity! |
bonechamberlain:With the way things stand, any more sanctions will mess up America's Reputation as the Unruly one. |
eph12:Until then sha........, but for now, he has played the gentleman. |
eph12:It was all rumours, Putin discountenanced the rumours. |
If you are a good student of history, and an ardent follower of international politics, you would have known that anyone America Dislikes automatically becomes "Evil". As if America is Incapable of fighting fairly, it whips up so much international emotions by labelling its supposed enemies with several hate-inducing names. So much so that many other nations and citizens began to inherit enemies, without justifiable reasons, only that America "says so" About the buildup to the present cacophony and noisesome pestilence between the outgoing American President and his Russian counterpart, the heat and anger predated the election that has generated so much finger-pointing and banters. Only a rookie will believe that Russia interfered in the election, to be honest, it is accusation without concomitant evidence. America Always have opinions about other nations directions and all, hence Russia Only did a small portion of what America does to other nations, yet they cry foul. And while the world had been sharply divided along sentiments line, the truth remains that Russia is a sovereign state and has not done much wrong more than to ask America to leave it alone. All of the above are just by the way, my main purpose of writing this is to Elevate Civility above rascality. To discard innuendoes and stick with evidential dispositions. And to sing it Loudly that every part of this precious earth has the right to be respected and allowed self-governance without undue interference and poke-nosing by supposed world-power. When Obama, in his erratic decision, announced the expulsion of the Russia diplomats, just to spite Putin and console himself from the defeat of the democratic party and candidature that had been demarketed by the Russians, One would have expected a retaliation from a man who had, for reasons known to America, been labelled a tyrant but believe me, he shocked the world. He simply subtly decolour Obama and Won a simple victory. He didn't return fire for fire, he used love to destroy hate and show that many supposed enemies of America are not truly enemies. By my count, if it were a football match, I think Russia, Putin Precisely scored a hat trick in one kick. The only problem is, Obama has no opportunity to vilify his enemy again because the time is out. And the unfortunate reality is that defending yourself outside of office and power has little or no effect but makes you a rabble-rouser. For now, Russia Won the war of word without guns, bullet or even RASCALITY. I am Temidayo Kingheart. |

ScotsReferendum:Brother, you sound really knowledgeable in this. And your kind of business Niche is favoured right now. ScotsReferendum:To be honest my brother, you got a big idea there. A noble idea that sound absolutely new. Though no idea is totally new, I see yours getting attention soon. One area of challenge you need to address in your process is whether or not your method doesn't add to green house emission. What sort of recycling technology are you applying (dont answer that here, just think about it and make sure it passes through ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY TEST. You dont know what you have in your hand until you start doing it. You'll be surprised. I salute your innovation. |
Eastactivist:Okay brother, I once worked in a data center and I know how much money it requires to set up one. But like I mentioned earlier. There are people who would be interested to partner with you, if you have the business well planned and structures and you can show that there will be fast and regular returns on investment. Please do not take such ideas to govt "Talent hunts" an all those charade called innovations at all, they'll just steal the idea and all you might get is a hand shake of some politicians who has no idea what you went through to design such business. But if you are sure you perfectly put up the form and shapes of the business as well as the benefits to both country, people and your investor, walk to Made men and women and offer them huge share in the company, believe me, you'll be on your way to success soon. |
marshalcarter:Hmmmn..........there's lots of love flying around today brother, you can afford to be alone. |
Before you judge my write-up, kindly read and understand the premise upon which it is pertinent that I write this. When we were growing up, one idiomatic expression, that eventually became proverbial, was the saying that "a stitch in time saves nine". In the case of the Boko Haram menace, a stitch aptly made, would have saved thousands. To set the record straight, I am not here to castigate any govt, but we the people, the citizens. I have watched, sitting on the fence, as two different sides of this country struggled hard to apportion blames with a thick air of vindictiveness and believe me, I sometimes take side (we are all guilty). If today Boko Haram strike and demean the valour of our soldiers, a side shout in approval, just because they want to prove that the govt of the day, past or present, is incapable. And when the table turns and the soldier deal the agents of death a deadly blow, the other side of the divide also shout the shout of victory, praising the fire-power of our military. The bitter question is, who are the soldiers, and whose citizens are the Boko haram? Is it not the same people of the same nation killing themselves and jubilating over it. If you have read my story up to this point, you might have gotten me wrong, thinking I am soliciting that the soldiers dont kill the terrorist. Or that I am in support of terrorism or the killing within our boundaries. Fact check, none of these assumption suffices. This is where I am heading to: 1. How did we get here? 2. Before BH became a menace, was there a clue that something sinister was building up? 3. If There was a clue, were there opportunity to have nipped it in the bud through other means other than with guns and bullets? 4. Was there a govt effort? And lastly 5. What was the people's reaction to the effort of govt. I remember clearly how a woman who claimed to be BH's Benefactor and mother narrated how it all began. And I also remember how the then govt goofed by killing these guys all the way from plateau to gombe, down into the heart of Maiduguri, where the police finally unleashed the dragon of terrorism by extra judicially murdering The then leader of the sect after he was handed over by the army in one piece. Suddenly, the heartless group lost its innocence, and the rest is now history. As if all of these are not bad enough, I remember the worst circumstance in the BH narratives. A point where northern elites and some holier-than-the-rest cleric gave the sect the boost it needed to ensure tears and mournings in people lives and homes. Instead of them to call a spade by its name, they called it fork. They denied the presence and threat of Boko haram. They said it was an agenda to depopulate the north. They created several excuses for the Boko haram palaver; some said they are youths agitating for good governance. Others said they were used and dumb by politicians. Some go to the extent of saying Jonathan created and late Azazi created Boko haram. In a nutshell, we hid behind a finger and deceived ourselves instead of call a problem by its name so that a suitable solution can be found for it. Now, we jubilate that the army has succeeded to anhilate the Boko, who by count of the dead will be close to 30,000 of them killed by the military, plus the over 10,000 civilians and paramilitry the terror-sect killed, not to mention (believe it or not), over 2000 military men killed by the BH. If we were a people, truthful, compassionate and patriotic, our timely stitch would have saved over 40,000 souls. And instead of us to celebrate when two different sides of the same country kill themselves and waste precious souls because of our parochial, ethnical and religious bigotry, we wouldn't have experienced such wanton destruction and stampeded growth. I hope we are not beginning to see the same trend in the Niger-Delta Saga and the Biafra Agitation. Military should not kill peaceful protesters, so long they are just protesting. Niger-Deltan that had laid all the eggs since 1963 should be called to the round table. Sometimes we prefer war to peace, not because we benefit from it, but because we are not wise. "a wise nation protect its own". When next you want to support Boko Haram or the Military, remember it is the same Nigerians, killing themselves and always have it in mind that truth exalt a nation.
