Eastactivist:Way to go brother. And what are you presently doing about that? I know for sure that you mustn't have the money to do it alone. If you're ready to share, there are people who are ready to finance you. Please DON'T ACHIEVE IT WITH MOUTH, LET IT COME TO LIFE. |
marshalcarter:Same to you Marshal. Why the tears? |
I read, two days ago, about the supposed question NOI asked some Yoruba youths and I began to question that question (Don't mind my English) "Can you confidently manufacture or create an exact prototype, with same feature and function of every imported product" was the question. Some argued that this question was fictional, others said it was a propaganda, but what do you say? I mean you! What do you think about that question? (think about that for a minute) Here's what I think: 1. This is the question China asked that lead them to today Technological Feat. 2. This is the question Singapore asked that turned the infant country round in the two tenures of its first president. 3. This is the question we need to ask ourselves as a nation b4 we can make headway. The question in itself doesn't change anything more than to evoke a pragmatic reflection of our state and the future we seek to achieve. The most important aspect of the discussion and the question lies in the answer we all have in our hearts, or, to be more direct, that the youths have. Wether or not the question was truly asked, or it was a creation of our incessant black-market journalism and social-media Parkinsonism, it is a question that has the answer to all our illusive and elusive development. It is only when we can say a resounding YESSSSSS! to this question that we are truly ready for the world. It is only when all our energies and social exposures are channelled into displacing every imported product, and even service. Not until we deliberately pursue this record, we will continue to chase shadows and catch flu anytime other developed economy sneezes. I always make one assumption, call it an hallucination, I don't mind: I wonder what Nigeria would be if all the youths can channel their strength, knowledge, abilities, talents and creativities into positive ventures instead of fraud, cheating others, orgy, drunkenness and political ignorance and social vices. I bet you know, just like I do, that Nigeria has the most vibrant and productive youths in the world, mind you, there are negative and positive productivity. To round up, when would we get to the point where we can create every product we need in this country, and provide every service that enhances our lives without depending on foreign expertise and dumping? This is the question the earlier question intend to ask. And here, my fellow youths, I ask you. Let us work towards it. I am Patriot Temidayo, #TemidayoKingheart #Tomorrowstartstoday #itsinyourhands #Letsleadtheway. |
Corrinthians:Its a new year, Kindly Jump off my lane Oga. |
They are establishing a precedence that may outlive them, if the youths refused to create a new pathway for themselves....... |
Virtue exalts its host. Quality is like skin, you carry it everywhere you go . -Patriot Temidayo 2016 Jonathan is a different crop of leader. Magnanimous and forbearing. |
And some young minds will believe this..... [sup][/sup] #weneedyoungleaders |
While Ecstatic when hacking virtually Every human's private links on earth, they cry foul when same was done to them. I am not in support of trouncing people's private lives and all that "needless" waste of resources and sleeplessness, but as world leader, America set this precedence. They should learn to enjoy their own pill when it is served them. On the other hand, the world need peace. Let them bury the hatchets and work for peace. |
Truth is like fart, you cant keep it in for too long, it'll find a way out. |
You failed to mention one thing: CHARACTER Without it, all others are non-substance. To be honest, Lota guys look out for real women but it doesn't take too long for most ladies to reveal the unchangeable traits that had cost them many relationships. Likewise many guys too. Its both ways. |
Make me understand please, Before ado became king, according to your self-glorifying story, there was a king yet you said bini founded Lagos by sending ado to "found" it. Gross incoherence. |
Father of the nation indeed! Eyesore of a nation. When are we going to be above regional, religious and ethnical sentiments and really live all as one? "am for everybody and for nobody" Hmmmn. Indeed. |
divicode:Big boy with too much money well done o. Shey you're the one feeding me and my family abi. I know your type. So I close this argument cuz your type dont worth it. Run along with your BIGMANNESS. |
Chief Bode, do us a favour: Call your fellow crooks and old-bags and kindly leave the corridor, veranda and rooms of power. You had opportunities upon opportunities to change the mess but you ended up messing up the already messed up country. It when you've ended up in irrelevance that you remember that some places are totally destroyed. Please call your buddies who benefitted so much from this country but destroyed the ladder and bridge against the next generation. .... #weneedyoungleaders |
divicode:Which election is this one talking about Abeg? Election of more than two years ago? You sound like someone who need to say just anything to defence a failing side. How many times have this govt told us they've bombarded sambisa and finished boko haram? If sword cuts your fingers, whenever you see ordinary razor blade, you'll run. Is it not okay to ask if they meant it this time around cuz we have heard it so many times over that they completely annihilate boko haram only for us to discover that a whole local govt is still in their grasp. If you can't understand a simple question please go back and learn your A, B, C. |
divicode:The reason Africa is backward is cuz our youths have a chronic regimented thinking that rallies around praise-singing and never seem to question actions. What is wrong with you? Which master? So anywhere can be shown as the headquarter of Shekau and I just have to belief them cuz they said so? Please jump into the lagoon if you don't like my post, the sea is large enough for your types to drown. |
mbhs139:I thought you're matured but its obvious you lack sense of respect for people's opinions. Firstly guy, I must not think like you or share your sentiment, secondly, my question is ARE WE REALLY BEEN TOLD THE TRUTH TIS TIME, lastly, tongue-lashing my govt is my duty cuz I have the right to question their actions and demanding for the truth is not an offence. In the light of these, please get the hell out of my lane, hypocrite. |
FriendChoice:Ofcourse bros, it is of general good that the military is winning this war, but what called for question is the repeated Sing-song of severally defeating boko haram, only for them to surface and the govt of the day changes their narratives and lies. We want this war to end, souls are lost but it cannot be won If we are not true to ourselves. We cannot afford to hide behind a finger or play the ostrich. Truth liberates a nation, deceit is a reproach. |
Is that all? Is that all we need to see to believe this is truly the headquarter of Shekau? Nigerians need to be more realistic and not just a nodding committee. Questions need be asked. |
EgunMogaji:I have no time for argument Prof, since you're educated and we are not, please tell us. |
Jonathan Legacy heralds new pathways for young leaders.... #weneedyoungleaders |
Every corrupted pointed at in the APC always have a defence, after the noise die down, the corrupt remain in office nonetheless. ........its all a charade #weneedyoungleaders |
Truth in its pure form, undiluted, unadulterated. ....... #weneedyoungleaders |
With a leader like Jonathan, it becomes easier to predict that Nigeria can still produce great youths, and selfless Leaders. Ordinary SUG, some of us cannot let go, and we would come here and insult men who had not just the courage but audacity to leave power unforced. Even if he's deemed corrupt, he's a good leader, nonetheless. |
Anyone here that thinks anything has changed, from the former govts and this one is just blind and unrealistic. All I see in this budget is same-old same-old. Only this time, nobody can ask questions, its that secretive. Otherwise, can anyone explain how this years budget was spent Abeg...... Its all shrouded in secrecy. #weneedyoungleaders |
EgunMogaji:Ask them bros..... Technology changes constantly, they have their reasons. Simple! |
Ability to say the truth, no matter how bad it hurt your earlier disposition is a virtue only true leaders posses. Jonathan may be clueless but he did his best and to be honest, he was on course to change Nigeria history of development, especially in human capital development and social enterprise. Buhari is trying his best but we all know his best dipped the country into immeasurable hunger and hardship. Accept it or not. |
I guess wheel friction and the heat generated build electrical energy...... They have a reason for doing this, they always do. |
You need prayers brother... ..and sympathy too. |
While i dont fancy Okorocha and his charade of leadership. Or his crops of make-belief and cosmetic leader contemporaries, we must recognise the truth when we hear it. It is a very dangerous attempt handling leadership to most youths right now, the evidence are grim. In few places where leadership had been handed over to some youths, the outcome was terrible: Gansterism, hooliganism, divide and rules, cultism alignment and many other negativity became the order of the day. While these traits are not exclusive to youths alone, it is however more prominently applied by the youths. We need a transfer of governance and leadership to next generations but the results of trying such has been damaging. We need a paradigm shift, we need to take the future like a business, a real business. Just how many of us really understand what it takes to lead? It is not Student Association, it is not street lordship, it real development, sense of responsibility and growth prospect. Are we really ready? |
Oga OP, I am a Christian and believe me, a good one. But I am not a fanatic or religious. Christmas Tree has nothing to do with the birth, death and the works of Christ and since Isreal Understand religion than you can ever do (Since they created most religions), ty know for sure what they are saying. Was Jesus born in, on, around, under or beside a Christmas tree? Pure and simple, it is idolatry. Just like Santa Claus |
