Hey, you lot can say whatever you want about English football and how they have been perennial underachievers...but this group is the most gifted English team in a long time. And no one is hyping them despite the fact that they qualified without any dent.

I don't know if you can qualify Rooney as a world class player or not. But once you take him out - I don't think there's a world class player on the team cos most of them are still green. However, that doesn't negate the fact that this is one most talented teams in Europe and also the youngest at the tourney. And they're at the same stage Germany was, in 2010.

Dele Alli is not overhyped - he's one of the best young midfielders in the world and he has only played one season in the EPL. Without him, Harry Kane wouldn't have scored that many goals this season. And he is still scratching the surface of his immense talent. Once he's where he needs to be - even Pogba would've watch his back.

I am aware that Alli is a young talented player, but the expectation placed on them by their fans (England) is so high, its almost becoming like they are under pressure to deliver results.

I can say that i am a fan of Alli, Harry Kane, Rashfprd and even Sterling, but i still suggest that placing so much expectation on youngsters like them may affect their long term performance in the English national team...

England is just like the Nigerian super eagles, you go to any tournament and fail to perform as well as the Nigerian FA expected, YOU ARE KICKED OUT OF THE TEAM.

England have always had so many stars who are qualified to feature in the national team, but most of them don't last there (not all though). That is one advantage Bale and his team mates have over them, the welsh team has been together for long.



I am not riding off the English team, if they play well, they have better chances of defeating Wales

The entire English team is filled with a bunch of average, over hyped babies. Not even as good as the Belgian team that Italy disgraced, don't assume England is anything because they were given a relatively easy group that they couldn't even top after game 1.

Anyway, the match is less than 2 hours away, pray they don't disgrace your team again

The truth remains that players like Dele Alli and Raheem Sterling are overrated... That is the virus in english football... They pick overrated boys into the national team and end up being kicked out.
