Good morning my people. . . Thank you guys for your reply last time. Please a friend of mine calls an installer to install his 1.8 and 60m hitv dish. the installer said both dish has been temper with that both dish has condem which is still looking new o. I told him I have seen worst dish tracking satellite he said it doesn't mean. My people I saw on 1 forum how an India guy constructed dish with wood and is tracking different satellite. My question is can a dish be useless'' can't be used again'' even tho it looking new, is the installer a novice cus I ask him to track c band he was like complaining all cband has been block. In the end he ended up tracking multi TV on the 60m and Nilsat on the big one that the small could only get multi TV and the big Nilsat . I think his in experience and when I tell him I see comments on naira land that it working he say it a lie. Please comments guys

just get another installer to do the job for you,or better still look for a member of this forum who is close to you to give you what you want.Those dishes are still very intact in that they were able to get 'nilesat', or is it eutelsat 7 west A?and astra 2f.

when u track dstv just blind scan and check NTA whether they are still free because it has been long that i removed the lnb for DSTV or someone should confirm if NTA on 36e is still free on FTA Decorders.

I was not in Zaria yesterday that's why I could not sent the 5 in 1 setup, you can make it 6 in 1 by adding a 4th lnb for dstv, for dstv only NTA and some CGTN channels formally CCTV are free that's why I removed the 4th I does channel in 16e and 5e. Here are the pics below. 16e primary, standing at the back 26e&28e right and 5e&7e left you need a very good lnb and clear space if not 7e will be so difficult to be stabilize. Am using old pauxis but I did it is for someone using premium gold lnb.

its not about ur signal quality,the frequeny(12564H30000) from which they transmit is not stable yet,methink they re still doing maintenance!

pls Bros,what could be wrong with my set up?i used a ku band lnb to arc a 1.8M motorised dish,and i can get all the ku band satellites except eutelsat 7 west A.when i added the cband as ofset lnb,i could not see most of the cband satellites except arabsat 5 A and a few others.

Thanks. I have done as you said but there is still no solution yet! I downgraded the srt 4950H to to even much lower version - 3.20p which it did successfully but when I wanted to do the upgrade to the latest software (3.16p) it started displaying "file size error" again and refused load so any way out?

ok,use recovery boot system to uprade it:ensure your fashdrive is free of virus,put the software in tne flash,this time around only the software should be in the flash,switch off the receiver and attach the flash to the receiver,on the receiver while holding one of the channel buttons in front of the the receiver,as soon as you see( ----- )in front of the led display,release the channel button,thats all!
Note;make sure you rename the software(rom.bin).

Downgrade it to an older software ,before upgrading it.

CONSAT TV migration to Multi TV position takes effect from March ending.
Nigeria based CONSAT TV package said it migration to a new satellite position, Multi TV will take effect from March 31st , 2017. According to CONSAT TV, subscribers will enjoy free one month free view. Here is the company's message " we apologise for the loss of signal you are currently experiencing. We are currently migrating to a new Satellite, ASTRA. This is to enable us serve you better. Normal services resumes 31/3/2017. Thank you"

that's true but some part of the country can still nail it with 1.2m but 1.8m will surfice.

that is the SAF beam of ABS3,we re talking about the MENA beam.

Bros. Upgrading things on my mind now, after all most of us started with mpeg2 (mediacom 910/930/SRT 4663), then came 4669 and then 4930 and then 4922A etc. And now it's HEVC. The truth is that we must go with the technological flow in sat world in order for us to keep enjoying FTA. We all thought it was the end of discussion when mpeg4 surfaced, but we were wrong. Like wise, HEVC will definitely not be the last of DVB Technology that we are going to see, I stand to be corrected.

Are those channels stable now?,some peple complained bitterly here about their instability.

Its still active . only DAT its fluctuating like d country itself and her president . sometimes its on and some times it's off. But it's still blazing and 60cm is OK. U can turn ur lnb to 7:0 clock

Hello guys, please help me to confirm if it is possible to get mbc east and multi tv on 1meter dish in Benin city now. A client has been insisting I come to install it for him. I told him that mbc beam has reduced in the south and that only those in the north can get it. He said that I am finding a way to give excuses that the dealer that sold it to him told him it will come out on 1meter. Please brethren help me to confirm it. Thanks.

Go ahead for the intsallation,its practically possible,you can as well add eutel.16A.I live in Benin too.

you don't need to enter the key manually,just upgrade the decoder with the latest software and factory reset it,it will automatically open the channel for you.

New software (v4.07p) for srt 4950h came out today, 4950h users please can it auto roll?

yeah!it autorolls faster and beter than the previous softwares!

I traveled last three weeks ago, I came back yesterday and my MBC channels are not working again.....I mean the MBC @the position of multy tv.....pls is your MBC still working or there gone again.

if you reside in Benin,forget about MBC package on 60cm,as its no longer trackable with that kind of dish.

9e is possible in Benin city with 90cm dish. You will hit 60%,signal on AFN Network.

if it is srt4955, you re using,then uprade it with any nigeria or Ghana version of sofware.
