Thanks all. I have been installing dish for over 10 years but todays own surprised me. I hve used 12589h30000 but got joy tv frequency change it to vertical got mytv frequency. I bought a new strong LNBF yet nothing. All my day was wasted without any show.

Bro it does happen in areas without high tension (power lines) and I believe it's the memory of the receiver. usually,when it happens (to me). I disconnect the lnb cable, switch the by decoder on without the cable ,wait for some time then switch off the decoder.. reconnect the lnb cable and switch it back on.. Remember to keep the dish facing the side (east) that you are experiencing the problem before you switch the decoder back on ...you may try it but I believe that it's a decoder/receiver problem as they get older..

It has a sound when lock to the signal but without tv how will you set the frequency of the satellite you want to track? Explain.

The new freq. is 12540H 5000. The channels are our tv, catholic tv, mamara tv and tv taraba.

i use 12245, H, 27500 to track dstv before nailing Nigcomsat

Please is it possible to add 7e to a set up that has 3w, 7w and 5e. All efforts so far to add it has not yielded the desired result.

You are right but it's only possible with selected 1 metre dishes not all. It's almost impossible on Consat 1m dish.

Please any idea, I have strong 4940 losing signal when switching from one dish to the other on diseq (even with high signal). I've changed diseq but issue persists
