We're can I get CI module for my LG satellite TV, I currently enjoy some FTA with joy tv/Consat frequency but I need CI module to unlock some channels

go to any of the service providers to inquire,but some of them like startimes hve their satellite/cable tv ,you cannot opens those encrypted channels with lg sat tv unless you buy their own tv.

Seeing the small TV that @Adewest is using, I am just wondering when we will outgrow this style of Satellite installation.

We are all stuck to this analogue way of signal tracking. Lol.

PS: Anyone seeing the finished installation won't know the man hour/resources that went in to this project.

Bros,this analogue style of installation is our own unique stlye of installation that cannot be forgotten in a hurry,it has made alot of us to be very efficient in installation,i dont think we can do away with it.
I for one ,has stargold analogue signal meter and satlink digital meter but sometimes i still do with this crude method,all because its this method that made me who i am today,i just enjoy using sometime.
I greet all the founding fathers who still deem it fit to give us lectures!

As i learnt strongest decoder is autorollable,i just still need whoever is conversant with it to teach me how to enter the biss menu of the decoder.

I just wonder what this thread is turning into;its now full of amatuer installers who are not even ready to learn,Little wonder all the founding gurus decided to leave the forum,nobody would want to be insulted by his own son.Even our amiable Chinedu7 is nolonger seen often in this forum because of the nonchallant attitude of some people here.i am afraid if we continue like this........
In the beginning it was not like this ,members saw themselves as brothers to the extent,that they eat and do many things together.
Let us all have a rethink and start doing things maturel or else this forum will be left for newbies and the amateur.

That Was D Same Step I Took, But Only 12616 V 12500 Turn Green.

Then its your tracking tecniques that is the problem!Take pain to move the azimuth and the elevation of the dish very slowly after hitting green on Dstv.On dstv bring the dish down very slowly and move an inch to the left very slowly,since the dish is down,now move it up very slowly again.your lnb should be at 3 o'clock. Don't let me hear you can't still catch the bird.

The signal has been very stable since morning, except this evening that it started dwindling.try and use 80cm dish for better chances.

my Brother,that bird is easy to catch,get DStv first then input 12518h29500 and bring the dish down a little ,you will get green,to increase the signal quality,you move your dish to the letf a little bit,thats nigcomsat for you!

Thanks, but the funny part of it is that other decoder work fine with my TV set.

i have experienced something like that countless time,all u need do is to reset the tv type from pal,ntsc and what have you to see the one ur tv is compliant with.

The lower the sat longitude or position ,the higher the elevation.for instance astra 2f is at 28.2 E position and eutelsat 36A is located at 36 E position,astra 2f will be higher than eutelsat 36A .

Go to dish setting,scroll down to the moto setting,then put it on the OFF option.

Oga they have a new satellite decoder, a friend of mine bought it just yesterday. I'm only asking if anyone has also seen and used it.

yeah ,they truly have a decoder and a dish branded CTL,i used it to install for a client about three months ago.that decoder should be MPEG2, i used it for only IS20K,and the dish can not track asra 28 upward.

Am using single LNB 4 both 26° & 28°

possible with only strong 4669X/XII which is about 65% with 4922 series.

Whoever has 1M dish can go for eut.9e in benin for AFN package,its very easy to get with 1M dish.you can as well add 16e,28.2 and 5e.

@skygalaxy, Paulo, sunnene1,and others, let me reply your comments, the price of that satfinder in the market now is 33,000,to 35,000, it tracks all satelite signal be it mpeg2, mpeg4, HD, DVBS2 and others, but it can display mpeg2 videos, But the satfinder signal alarm and signal meter detect all signal, MODE OF SIGNAL DISPLAY: if you are tracking ku band, any signal you get on this Sat meter it will be +15% on a normal decoder, example: if you have 55% on the sat meter it will be 70% on 4922A decoder, the same apply to Cband satelite, but on sport 24HD if you get up to 15 to 19% it will be 50% on 4950H with latest software. REMEMBER: I have never failed to get any signal with this very satfinder. be caution they have different type of this kind of satfinder, just make sure it kpt-968G, if you need it contact me on this number 08069338224

it use to see some mpeg 4 signal like joytv and nigcomsat even Sony.it will detect the signal up to 15 to 25% and on ur 49922a decoder for example will be like 72-75 % that's d way it works

its cool then so long it can detects mpeg4 signals,after all,most of our gurus who are well vast in sat gear can still track mpeg4 signals with mpeg2 decoder.

he should have checked the details of the the device.Anyhow i ve installed a device like that before,i used a device called euro vision blaster,its very easy to install,and it costs about 4500 here in Benin city.

I got other chammels but no AIT. I don't know what the problem is.

you re on point,AIT is no longer there.May be with time .Ait and other local channel will join them.Lagos Tv is there now!
