You and any other persons that have this and other similar issues can buzz me if you want your device returned to Xiaomi after sales for assessment and subsequent repairs, you'll bear the shipping costs plus the repair cost if it is found out to be user's damage, otherwise repair is free. A certificate of the assessment will be given prior to repair to make you decide

Below is an example of such case.
Customer bought note 5 4/64gb. After 4 days, he called to say screen has stopped responding to touches. I retrieved the phone from him and refunded him. I sent the phone back to xiaomi after sales unit, below is the assessment report. Phone has had contact with water before. When I retrieved it, it was just the screen not touching, but the phone, on reaching China, could not be powered on again, obviously due to continuous moisture effect while in transit
To pay ¥350 for repairs.
There are instances when some buyers chickened out of having their items returned for assessment by xiaomi on being told dt factory faults will be repaired for free but they'll have to pay if buyer's damage.

Point of reference is that, people will flay the brand for such short duration of usage B4 developing fault, oblivious of the fact that even a new born baby exposed to harsh conditions will "develop faults", if not die.

Hello all please I need assistance
My mi max 2 shows no service or remove phone from airplane mood when I try to make a call.
Phone is not on airplane mood it recognize the sim and signal strength but will refuse to let me turn on mobile radio power. I have tried the following
1. Click on turn radio power and tried different sims
2. Factory reset
3. Flash the same rom from the inbuilt software updater
Any one with previous experience should assist me thank you

I find it weird that speed tests are globally acceptable between 3GB RAM iPhones or Google Pixel(4GB RAM) and Samsung phones with twice the RAM/Storage but somehow it's an atrocity when a Nigerian does it. Speed test isn't just about RAM/Storage for one and speed tests aren't only for phones with identical specs.
