agabusta:"Over the years, our creativity has been killed by the availability of cheap foreign alternatives.".... That was exactly my brother's words few days ago! The present situation is not all about Buhari but a wake up call on our creativity. |
jaydee87:It is sad we are scared of taking the decisions that will push us off from our comfort zones. My brother before now used to import from the U.S specific cutting machines mainly used for school related materials. Dollar has shoot up, it is way too high to import. He has knocked down one of the machines, to understudy the mechanism and with his knowledge of physics he now has a good understanding of how it was assembled. He has visited many scrap markets, fabricators and by this weekend his prototype will be ready at about 25% cost of what he should have paid for buying it in the U.S. |

Mcowubaba:Haba! |
Very inhuman! |
9jakohai:The hitherto cheap dollar caused it. Nigerians must learn to do some things for themselves. Every year we graduate Food technologists and still see nothing wrong in importing stuff like the triple tomato paste concentrate ! |
Where they are imported from, are the tomatoes there grown in their skies? ![]() |
He stated in his number 2. I am also a girl child lover and would forever cherish the female gender even though It is not African in nature. Probably despising the female child is what is so African in his warped mind.! |
The FG will likely tell Trump to first of all release Oscar López who was arrested by the FBI way back in 198I and grant Puerto Rico their independence. The excerpt below captures the situation. "Oscar López Rivera has been imprisoned in the U.S Federal prison since 1981 by the U.S government for clamouring for the independence of Puerto Rico from the United States! During protests, Puerto Rican activists burn U.S flags. In 1981, the FBI arrested López Rivera and accused him of seditious conspiracy, use of force to commit robbery, interstate transportation of firearms, and conspiracy to transport explosives with intent to destroy government property. A federal grand jury sentenced Rivera to 55 years in prison the same year, later receiving an additional 15 years after he tried to escape from jail in 1988. Before he was arrested, Rivera was an active member of the FALN paramilitary group fighting to bring independence to Puerto Rico. In 1999, he rejected a conditional pardon offered by former US President Bill Clinton. For some, Rivera is a political prisoner and a revolutionary hero, while for others — such as the victims of FALN attacks and their families — a terrist. On June 10, the New York City Council, presided over by Puerto Rican Melissa Mark-Viverito, passed a resolution urging President Barack Obama to grant the 72-year-old clemency. “[Rivera’s] continued incarceration is unjust and serves no legitimate purpose,” Mark-Viverito said." |
It is left for the graduates to decide whether they want to work in the State's civil service. |

Yeye man! |
"I repeat , no artiste will last long with " dance tengere , whine it tengere, or dodo leleyi in an international record label.. Its better to stick to the Home base fans that lack the taste for song with good lyrics and meaning".... ![]() |
Sighs....quoting the constitution for Buhari on top Jammeh case is an exercise in futility! |
