By law, there are certain places that enjoys immunity and provide such to any resident.

By law, no policeman, efcc or Military has the locus standi to enforce an arrest in these places.

1. Court Of Law

It is against the law to arrest anyone in the court's premises. I guess one could just steal something and run to the court premises to chill.
While an arrest can't be enforced in a Nigerian court, the security in the court has the right to throw you out of the compound.


2. National Assembly

This one is not even different from the court of law because it is also an house of Law. No arrest can be done there. It againt legal ethics.



3. Government House

Yahaya bello comes to mind, you can't arrest a culprit in the government house. But that does not cover the governor's car too.

Reasons Bello can't be arrested now is because he is chilling under mortuary standard AC at the government house. The law is the law, but a seige can be laid outside the government house until the culprit walks out.
