Yes I've gotten the package and till now the aliexpress tracking still haven't updated. The FedEx tracking number is well updated but From aliexpress tracking I wasn't informed of the change or given the FedEx tracking number. so basically if the package hadn't come I'll still think my package stuck on dispatched to over sea

Packages arrived Wuse PO (collection and sorting office for Abuja) from Lagos today. The sorting officers are still working in shifts so delivery to Abuja HQ might be delayed.

A phone I ordered too has been showing "Dispatched to overseas postal Admin" since 8th July like us. I stay in Abuja too. We just might get our items in the same week. Your post just confirmed to me that my item may not have been lost completely although I currently have only 13days to end of Buyer Protection Period. I ordered it 19th June ..it was shipped 22nd june

I went to Abuja nipost headquarter to track my phone dat have been on despatched to oversea country since 8th July. The lady told me my package has been in Lagos since 12th August and she doesn't know when dey will despatch it to Abuja.

Pls does anyone know how long it will take for it to arrive Abuja or despatched?

Wow I complained about someone receiving his phone while I haven't received mine having ordered earlier than he did. Only for me to check post office today and said phone was there although there wasn't any indication from the tracking and post office didn't call me.

I received 3 Redmi note 8 and one Redmi 8 Global ROM (Only the 4gb + 128gb variant is Global version) ordered on June 17 in my local post office in ENUGU today.

I have tested all of them and the support MTN and Airtel 4g LTE.

It's the same store I ordered my own Redmi note 8... I ordered 22nd June but mine is still stucked on despatched to oversea since 8th July...
When was ur own dispatched pls?
Did the tracking information change From despatched B4 u received ur phone?

They don't state it that way most times.

It is either they call it Chinese Version (Sealed with Chinese ROM) or Global ROM (unsealed Chinese Version with Global ROM) or Global Version.

Global Versions are usually more expensive.

Redmi note 8 Global rom is currently scarce and is more expensive than global version.. so far only 2 stores are selling global rom.. check it out

Let me give you a free advice when it comes to AliExpress and Xiaomi phones.

Whenever you see "Global ROM" IT means a Chinese Version(Note you won't be able to use some network 4G, MTN especially) that has been opened(It won't come sealed), bootloader unlocked and a Global ROM is installed.

Now here comes the catch some sellers will flash an official ROM some will flash a Fake ROM that if you try updating it bricks.

My current phone is Global ROM.

I bought a Redmi note 7 (global rom) been using it for a year now and no problem, MTN 4g works very well for me.. I've updated my OS didn't have any problem.
It's just simple when buying phone buy from a good seller with plenty good reviews.

This amount is quite large on a Chinese Version with Global ROM not even Global Version, there are newer and better Xiaomi devices you will get at this price point to be honest.
