Politics › Re: RE: Things We Have Noticed Since PMB Assumed Power *Reply* by PDPblogger: 5:51pm On Jul 12, 2015 |
publisher: Here's my reply to this thread that made Front Page earlier today: https://www.nairaland.com/2445302/things-noticed-since-pmb-assumed
I hope my response makes FP too.
DID YOU NOTICE THIS AMAZING SCENARIO?
Without Power minister: - Electricity supply has greatly improved
Reply: Perhaps those people that vandalized PHCN equipments have decided to 'cool down' since GEJ is no more there. However, MANY more areas remain without power.
Without Petroleum minister: - refineries are almost fully revamped, to commence production within a month.
Reply: Contract for, and commencement of Turnaround Maintenance of our refineries was issued by GEJ in 2013. Buhari doesn't even have a Petroleum minister, so cannot claim ANYTHING from presumed resumption of NNPC refineries. Or are you saying TAM on our refineries started on May 29th, 2015?
- Disappearance of fuel queues without oil marketers holding country to ransom.
Reply: Fuel queues still exist in MOST filling stations selling at N87 while those selling for N120 and above are without queues. However during GEJ's 5-year rule, MOST Nigerians forgot what it felt like to sleep in Petrol stations except when there was Oil marketers strike.
- Stoppage of phantom fuel subsidy payments to the cabal, & reducing it from over N5b to N1.8b per day
Reply: During GEJ's period, Buhari said that there was no subsidy, can you reduce something that does not even exist?
Without Finance minister: - External reserves increased by $3b in a month.
Reply: External reserves have risen because Buhari's government is yet to take-off and allocations to several ministries for capital projects have not been made. 2015 Budget has not even commenced partial implementation, hence most Crude Oil monies earned by Nigeria since May 29th are being forwarded to reserves.
- Bailout to states to clear 8 months salary arrears.
Reply: After States are bailed out , what next? President Buhari told the world that GEJ left empty treasury, where did he find money to bail out states. Na you give am?
- Closure of all secret govt accounts.
Reply: Please mention the secret govt accounts and tell us how it is a secret.
- Maintenance of a single Federation Account for all FG revenues.
Reply: No such move has been made, where is the Finance Minister to execute such a directive? You lie.
Without External Affairs minister: - Secured multilateral cooperation of all neighbouring countries for a MJTF against Boko Haram.
Reply: MJTF was created under GEJ. Also, Buhari once said it was a shame that Nigeria's neighbors were helping us fight Boko Haram. Elrufai even accused GEJ of visiting Chad to plan more Boko Haram attacks. So, what are you saying?
- G7 cooperation and support in fight against insurgents.
Reply: Same G7 that refused to sell arms to Nigeria under GEJ? Okay, since Buhari's visit to G7 summit has Boko Haram not killed over 400 Nigerians?
Without Commerce & Trade minister:
- Concluded package to revamp local industries.
Reply: What package? If any such package exists it will be executed by Bank Of Industry. Did Buhari establish Nigeria's Bank of Industry?
-Again a marching order for the resuscitation of our dead Textile Industries was given.
Reply: Textile Industries or any industry for that matter don't operate with marching orders, they need investments, infrastructure and a market to sell their products.
All in barely a month!
l'm delighted about the prospect, when PMB would have touched all sectors of our national life.
...A NEW SHERIFF IS IN TOWN!...
● Former Imo State Governor Ohakim granted N270million bail for N270million fraud as in return the EXACT money you stole shikena!
● Lamido Ex Nig. Foreign minister and Ex-Jigawa Gov. and sons remanded in Prison
● Ex-Adamawa Gov. Nyako and son remanded in Prison
● Companies linked to Nnamani Ex-Enugu Gov. Loose assets to FG
And so on and so forth. Ah Ah PMB, na only you waka come?
Reply: Even Tinubu was arraigned under GEJ, so kini big deal?; please celebrate only when there is a conviction
The days of "Goat-Eat-Yam-And-Go-Free" are over! Watch out for more... #Change is really here!
~Jack Obinyan-Buhari 09/07/2015
CONCLUSION: Perhaps it's too early to judge President Buhari's performance, BUT blind propaganda at this early stage is equally ridiculous.
PS: I request that this be put on Front Page. Thank you jare! |

Adminisher: Okay. Let me let you in on some secret. The oil market don die. We are struggling to sell oil. Nigeria's oil exports has shifted offshore. Shell is leaving the onshore Niger Delta and they have sold their assets to local companies who are already regretting it because of the oil price crash to $55 a barrel. Nigeria is probably producing as much as 900, 000 barrels offshore. So since that is essentially all we can sell abroad, katakata don burst be that. Your 'saviour and Jesus Christ' , low IQ president and the beautiful madam did not develop new refineries and have frustrated the people they gave licenses to build. This was because some people needed to keep robbing Nigerians of N2 trillion per year in fake oil subsidy repayment's. So bad international oil markets, no production from onshore Niger Delta, no refineries, hungry militants, confused presidency that is what another Jonathan term promises. What I am saying is let us save ourselves the PUNISHMENT. Buhari is the answer. Absolute rubbish |

WOW @OP, one of the best and most balance article in support of GEJ I've ever read.
Even APC Warriors scampered into safety and avoided this thread after reading these VERY solid points in favour of GEJ, eloquently spelt out by the writer.
I advice all true GEJ fans to simply copy and paste this article on any thread where an 'APC hate-filled warrior' posts their usual lies against OUR President.

Ow many original cds do u buy urself n ow many shows v u paid for. Endorsement frm multinational companies nw na campaign for jonah!!! Smh for u so called leaders of tmoro wt ur reasoning Don't these 'few' successful entertainers have families? Have they not employed dancers, make-up artistes, bodyguards, directors etc...are these not jobs that have been created? My goodness, You APC fans are.... In fact I'm beginning to sense that most of Buhari supporters are frustrated serial failures and olodos in their individual lives blaming GEJ for all their problems. They will still Blame Buhari if he becomes President and asks them to embrace cattle rearing as a profession, a job befitting for dullards like most of his supporters. |

GEJ supporters are as clueless as GEJ if not more clueless....typical of GEJ supporters claiming success for another man's effort If the Nigerian economy was poor or had crashed under GEJ who would pay N5000 to go watch a music show? If the Nigerian business environment was poor how many companies will have excess money to pay celebrities for brand endorsements? You are certainly a dullard like OP opined. |

Reddit: Hmmm.... Just within 1 week of selection as GMB VP candidate, this guy has just been fronting himself like the man of the show seeking spotlight everywhere. Why can't they work as a team? Why different sites for campaigns? Am I worried? Yes I'm worried.
I'm worried because: 1.) He should have known that VP position is just mere figure head, he should ask Joe Biden and Namani Sambo.
2.) The fight between OBJ and Atiku might just be child's play afterall compare to what we are about to experience. Are we ready for a divided house?
3.) Sambo has been VP for over 4 years now and has not started seeking spotlight for himself but for Osinbajo, it looks as if this next election is all about him.
4.) GMB may be more clueless than we thought. Don't mind Osinbajo, he thinks if APC wins, Buhari will rely on him and grant him more executive powers. Little does he know that GMB may end up throwing him and his master Tinubu inside jail. |
